The New Moon Craft Tavern Bar & Grill • $
130 S Lincoln St, Port Angeles

“It was a Saturday, and the live music was great. It seemed like the bar was usually mostly full, one or two empty chairs though. It didn't feel crowded. The craft beer and drinks were great, a little something for everyone. Bathrooms were clean and bar tenders were great.“

“Gateway should be your first night's stop if you find yourself in Port Angeles. With all the joys of the corner of the US, with nice patrons who would love your patience to play darts and/or pool. Popcorn for snackys, and a surprisingly good food menu from the the head chef, Michael Wave. You may feel like bars need to be over the top, but Gateway Tavern does a great job of reminding Port Angeles, if it's worked since 1936, keep it working.Christina is an outstandingly nice lady. In fact all the bartenders are great with their own charm, charisma, and regulars that come in to see them nightly! Thanks for all the great night Gateway! To many more!“

“They dutifully call themselves a dive bar, and when you walk in, that's the vibe (the 3 on atmosphere, but it's a fun 5 too),. BUT... the food rocks, the staff is wonderful, not surlly, and the other customers are there for a quiet drink or happy to chat. Haven't caught the later night yet, but they have something going on most nights. We've tried about 1/3 of the menu, and no misses yet. The wings are great, and you better have napkins for any burger.“

“We had 48 Degrees North cater my daughter's wedding banquet. The venue manager, Laurie Thomas, is exceptional. She communicated with us throughout the process, explaining choices, and preparing budgets and room maps as we prepared for our wedding event. She assisted us in be able to prepare the room in advance, which was so helpful. The venue space is gorgeous, newly updated, with beautiful views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The linens, tables, chairs, and extra service areas were spotlessly clean. The food was so delicious! Appetizers (I recommend the spinach artichoke dip), 2 entrees, and sides, all presented in beautiful service pieces. In addition, the servers were wonderfully patient, attentive and helped with everything that we needed. Many thanks to Jamie, the head server, who kept me informed all throughout the event and the lovely bar tender, Makenzie. We didn't use a dance floor, but it is available!!The Red Lion Inn also worked in collaboration with the restaurant to provide a discounted Wedding Package, including a Honeymoon Suite, and discounted room prices for event guests.Highly recommend as an incredible place to host an event in this sweet little town of Port Angeles.Parking: Plenty of space for a group party event.“
