“I can't say enough great things about Yodelin! We first loved Yodelin at Leavenworth many years ago, and then a few years ago when we saw that Yodelin was coming to Port Angeles, we were so stoked! Finally, we had a chance to check it out last month and we were not disappointed. The food is excellent in taste and quality. The atmosphere is inviting and warm. But what truly stood out for us is the service. As a family of 4 with a big kid and a baby, we always appreciate when staff acknowledge our kids and when the restaurant is family friendly. Yodelin understood the assignment with both! The server was so kind and helpful, and we were relieved to hear other families in different part of the restaurant, knowing we were in good company. Both my big kid and baby (just starting solids) devoured their food, which I felt good about giving. We love taking family trips to the peninsula, and Yodelin will always be our go-to whenever we are in the area! I only wish that we could eat here everyday!“

“This is the best place to go eat. The food is delicious. I am a little picky…example is that I always say “no onions”. They have never put onions on by mistake. That happens a lot at other hamburger stands. Plus, they have such friendly people working there!“

The keys to greatness for this business are 1) the incredible woman that helped us at the window, the model of the employees we would want for our own venture, 2) great location - smart use of space from order window to pick up window, and 3) the bagel I had was amazing - got to learn who makes those!“

“It is such a sweet little shop. I love going there, it feels like a throw back to simpler times. They carry a lot of the old time favorites candies that you haven't seen in years and thought they stoped making. The owner are part of the charm as well.“

“They don’t have enough reviews so I’m coming on here to say I’ve been a regular for YEARS. Moved to Texas for 3 years but every visit I made sure to come through. I looked forward to visiting home but also for their coffee. “The Gateway was an incredible find! A low-key, local bar that has everything you could want, pool, darts, cheap drinks and, of course, fantastic bar tenders! Kristina is always so kind and great at what she does! If you find yourself nearby, I would highly recommend stopping in to the Gateway.“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Port Angeles Hospitality Done Right Next Door Gastro Pub was absolutely buzzing when I stopped in, but you’d never know it by how smoothly everything was running. Huge shoutout to Ania, my bartender/server, who deserves an 11/10 rating all by herself. From the Cherry Potter to the Bay Breeze, the drinks were fantastic. Even with the place packed, she still took the time to listen to one of my random little stories and even check out a photo I showed her. That level of attention when things are that busy is pretty impressive. What really stood out though was the entire team. Every server I saw was hustling, helping each other, and still making customers feel welcome. It’s the kind of place where you can tell the staff actually enjoys working together, and that energy makes the whole place feel like home. Great drinks, great atmosphere, and even better people. Next Door Gastro Pub is doing Port Angeles proud. Highly recommend.“

“The pizza was good, a bit pricey for the size. I was a little turned off by the ‘ambiance’, didn’t seem like much TLC had been put into the interior of the building… not looking for some fancy but just made it feel ‘mehh’. 3.5 if I could give that. Bartender was nice & beer was good.“

Quiet the night I was in, no trouble getting a table. I did notice a brisk and steady take out biz. Good stuff here. Worth a visit.“

“I was here on Saturday January 27th and I’m from New England my whole life. I ordered the New England Clam Chowder and the 10 Prawn meal. It could possibly be the best clam chowder I’ve had and the meal was delicious. The portion was so big I had to take half with me. If I’m ever back in the area I’m definitely stopping by here again. Plus we had a great view as well….and our waitress was the best. A very positive experience.“

“This place is gorgeous and beautifully decorated. However, the service at your bar on this past Sunday (solstice) was appalling bad. Bartender was visibly intoxicated on something, completely absent, food took forever and it was subpar. Our chowder was as thick as sour cream. It should have not been served. I totally understand you are closing down for the season but if you can’t execute some quality of food and service then just shut it down.“
