⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Port Angeles Hospitality Done Right
Next Door Gastro Pub was absolutely buzzing when I stopped in, but you’d never know it by how smoothly everything was running.
Huge shoutout to Ania, my bartender/server, who deserves an 11/10 rating all by herself. From the Cherry Potter to the Bay Breeze, the drinks were fantastic. Even with the place packed, she still took the time to listen to one of my random little stories and even check out a photo I showed...read full review

absolutely awsome service, food and drinks
Ate here twice on our recent trip to ONP. The vibes are great, indoor or outdoor dining available, TVs over the bar if you’re trying to catch a game. There will definitely be a wait if you’re coming during peak lunch/dinner hours, but grab a drink at the bar or a place nearby- the food is worth it! The max and cheese appetizer is phenomenal!

Next Door Gastropub is a small, lively restaurant with a young crowd vibe and a mix of indoor and outdoor seating. The service staff is friendly and efficient, ensuring minimal wait times for food and refills. The atmosphere is pleasant, making it a great place to relax with family and friends. The berry mojito stands out as a top drink option, and the fries are also good. The restaurant has received praise for its frickles, beef tallow sirloin, and the patty melt, which some have said reminds them of an In-N-Out burger. The tuna melt is also mentioned positively, along with the clam chowder soup. However, there are areas for improvement, including cleanliness and consistency in the kitchen. Some dishes, like the caesarito, may arrive with overwhelming flavors, specifically too much blue cheese, which can detract from the experience. The bathroom needs renovation, and while it can get busy during peak hours, leading to longer wait times, the restaurant has potential to be a top-notch choice with some improvements. Wheelchair accessibility is limited due to the small size and narrow aisles.
