“On our drive back to Seattle from Cape Flattery, we did a quick search for a classic American-style diner and Joyce & Co Cafe popped up. We are so glad we stopped! The ambiance is great—the interior is nicely organized and neat. The staff were just as welcoming, greeting us with genuinely friendly smiles. But the true highlight is the food. We ordered the Mushroom Bacon Swiss Burger and the Spicy Crispy Chicken Burger (we upgraded one order of fries to tater tots for $2). These were easily some of the best burgers we’ve ever had. The beef was perfectly cooked and juicy, and the spicy chicken had just the right kick and crunch. Not everyone can perfect a burger like that! The sides were great, too: the fries are thin and crispy, and the tater tots were excellent. If you're looking for a satisfying meal, I highly doubt anyone will leave here disappointed.“

“Was looking for some food after a long day in the park. The casino back home in NY always has great food so we figured we'd give this one a try. It was great! Prices are extremely reasonable, portions are big and the food was fantastic. I got a burger and my wife got a flatbread. Service was very quick and pleasant. And if you want to try your luck on the slot machines they're right there for you. We'll definitely be back.“

“I cannot say enough great things about this place! Great food with low prices. I go every single week. The milkshakes and floats are so good! Seafood for under $20 is such a good deal.
It’s nice it’s order to go too, no servers or having to sit down for the food, it’s such a great order and go. I suggest you call ahead of time on your way for the food. They are pretty busy but work so hard to get it out as fast as possible.“

“I was here on Saturday January 27th and I’m from New England my whole life. I ordered the New England Clam Chowder and the 10 Prawn meal. It could possibly be the best clam chowder I’ve had and the meal was delicious. The portion was so big I had to take half with me. If I’m ever back in the area I’m definitely stopping by here again. Plus we had a great view as well….and our waitress was the best. A very positive experience.“

Super convenient with a drive-thru and walk-up window, but what really stood out was the service. The girls were so sweet—they remembered us from the day before, asked about the elopement we were in town for, and were genuinely excited to hear about it 🥹 even shared recs for our next visit.

I wanted to love the hash browns but the texture was on the mushy and dry side (perhaps the starch wasn't rinsed off completely and then rushed to be cooked?). We will be back to try the lunch menu and visit Priscilla - you don't meet people like her anymore. 💜“

“This is the best place to go eat. The food is delicious. I am a little picky…example is that I always say “no onions”. They have never put onions on by mistake. That happens a lot at other hamburger stands. Plus, they have such friendly people working there!“

Huge shoutout to Ania, my bartender/server, who deserves an 11/10 rating all by herself. From the Cherry Potter to the Bay Breeze, the drinks were fantastic. Even with the place packed, she still took the time to listen to one of my random little stories and even check out a photo I showed her. That level of attention when things are that busy is pretty impressive. What really stood out though was the entire team. Every server I saw was hustling, helping each other, and still making customers feel welcome. It’s the kind of place where you can tell the staff actually enjoys working together, and that energy makes the whole place feel like home. Great drinks, great atmosphere, and even better people. Next Door Gastro Pub is doing Port Angeles proud. Highly recommend.“

The service was next-level amazing: attentive, fun, and totally made the night. Now let’s talk FOOD. I had the fresh halibut, my husband had the stuffed halibut, and my sister ordered the grilled salmon. Every bite was chef’s kiss 🤌✨ Delicious, perfectly cooked, zero notes. I was stuffed… but still ordered the crème brûlée to go because self-control is overrated and it was absolutely worth it. And listen—don’t judge me—but I half-jokingly asked for some tartar sauce. “We stayed in town for one night and decided to grab a beer and pizza for dinner. The beers were both really tasty and the pizza was good. We sat out on the front patio. My only complaint was people smoking below us (I’m sensitive to cigarette smell). Aside from that the vibe was cool, it’s a family friendly place and the lady working at the bar was super kind and welcoming. We’re an interracial couple, and I understand this area of Washington can be a bit “hit or miss” for black people, however, we didn’t get any “off vibes” and will certainly be back if we pass through!“

“This place is gorgeous and beautifully decorated. However, the service at your bar on this past Sunday (solstice) was appalling bad. Bartender was visibly intoxicated on something, completely absent, food took forever and it was subpar. Our chowder was as thick as sour cream. It should have not been served. I totally understand you are closing down for the season but if you can’t execute some quality of food and service then just shut it down.“
