“A nice local pub with solid American bar food, outdoor seating, and the proprietoress was so incredibly nice and hospitable to me. It had been a hard day and she made the end great.

Prices are extremely reasonable, portions are big and the food was fantastic. I got a burger and my wife got a flatbread. Service was very quick and pleasant. And if you want to try your luck on the slot machines they're right there for you. We'll definitely be back.“

“The coffee was a 10/10! My fiancé and I made coffee runs the two mornings we were staying in town. We tried the Vulcan Night Cap for all of our friends and everyone agreed it was the perfect pick-me-up.

Super convenient with a drive-thru and walk-up window, but what really stood out was the service. The girls were so sweet—they remembered us from the day before, asked about the elopement we were in town for, and were genuinely excited to hear about it 🥹 even shared recs for our next visit.

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Port Angeles Hospitality Done Right Next Door Gastro Pub was absolutely buzzing when I stopped in, but you’d never know it by how smoothly everything was running. Huge shoutout to Ania, my bartender/server, who deserves an 11/10 rating all by herself. From the Cherry Potter to the Bay Breeze, the drinks were fantastic. Even with the place packed, she still took the time to listen to one of my random little stories and even check out a photo I showed her. That level of attention when things are that busy is pretty impressive. What really stood out though was the entire team. Every server I saw was hustling, helping each other, and still making customers feel welcome. It’s the kind of place where you can tell the staff actually enjoys working together, and that energy makes the whole place feel like home. Great drinks, great atmosphere, and even better people. Next Door Gastro Pub is doing Port Angeles proud. Highly recommend.“

“We came here for dinner on Wednesday night and they were having a pretty rough day due to the long weekend, so they were completely out of all their fish and seafood options, Mac & Cheese, mashed potatoes, as well as several other sides.

We ended up ordering the roasted half-chicken and the carrot risotto and they were very good so I’m leaving 4 stars. Their breakfast options are also very good, including the omelette and the avocado toast.

The service was a little bit slow. That said, the staff really made the difference, especially Mackenzie and Taylor.“

The service was next-level amazing: attentive, fun, and totally made the night. Now let’s talk FOOD. I had the fresh halibut, my husband had the stuffed halibut, and my sister ordered the grilled salmon. Every bite was chef’s kiss 🤌✨ Delicious, perfectly cooked, zero notes. I was stuffed… but still ordered the crème brûlée to go because self-control is overrated and it was absolutely worth it. And listen—don’t judge me—but I half-jokingly asked for some tartar sauce. They didn’t have any… so Chuck casually ran next door to Hook & Line Pub to get some. I mean??? THAT is elite service. “Every time we go we get great food! My husband loves the cheeseburger and fries and I always opt for one of their chicken sandwich options on lettuce. No bun. Their BLT is also amazing! Great food and friendly staff.“

We just happened upon it because it was close to our air bnb, and without fail the rest of our trip we had to back over and over again because it was so good. “Fun local place right by the water. Beer and pizza selection was varied. We have a large prosciutto pizza. Sauce had a nice sweet taste and crust was very good. Be prepared to order at bar so a concern would be how seating is handled when busy. Also, don’t expect much for ambiance. Looks like an old warehouse space.“

“We camped and it was a weekend. First spot was small but we moved to a larger spot the next day with lake views. The campground is pretty crammed so not a ton of privacy, but you can make it work. Easy access to the water and it's a wonderful amazing lake. Easy access to Spruce Rail bike or walking path.
Lodge is very nice. If you are camping, there is only 1 shower, which seemed odd, but it's free as well as the laundry. You have to put money in to start it, but it spits the coins back out. We wouId stay there again.“
