Best restaurant water view in Port Angeles, especially on a clear day you can really enjoy the water, Canada, Coho ferry and Mt Baker. Service was fantastic here and they were busy. Tried two of the seasonal cocktails and they were good, festive and priced well. Clam chowder had good flavor but too thick. Ordered mushroom and chicken fettuccine and fish and chips. Both were yummy. My huckleberry lemonade was decent but I wouldn’t consider this a destination spot for cocktails. The view was great - if you enjoy watching the ships this is the place for you!

Very good food and GREAT service. We had fish and chips which was perfectly cooked with panko breading and just fell apart on this inside perfectly. The chicken salad with eggs, bacon and more was sooo good. The crab and shrimp melt was delicious but I expected open faced with a pile of crab and shrimp. It could've used more meat, but was very good. All the staff was very friendly and comfortable to be around, like we were old friends, but this was my first time at Downriggers....read full review
