“Great food and even better service. We we very well attended to, our server really above and beyond. Taking cafe of our every needs, even sending us off with To go cups of coffee for our day of adventures. Our only complaint is that they close at 3, we would have gone back for dinner had we had time!

“Really cute pub. Great atmosphere. Food was good overall and I appreciated that they have a homemade veggie patty. It wasn’t the best I’ve had though, but also far from the worst. Staff was kind, although disorganized with seating, etc and one of the orders was wrong. Overall I do recommend the place as it’s a fun place to hang out and get food or a drink.“

“5 stars for everything. Friday night we walked in at 8. The first person to see us greeted us and said the host would see us in a moment. The host was great and our server was knowledgeable of the menu. The place was clean - even the lights and blinds. The food was excellent and flavorful. “Bitter sweet!Sweet: the food, the atmosphere, the coffee and the person that waited our table were amazing! The food tasted great and was fresh/made to order. Definitely recommend the curried egg salad sandwich and their cinnamon roll!!!Bitter: maybe it was just a bad day, but it felt like the owner wasn’t too pleased to help us, starting with trying to get a table, yes we were a big crowd but were more than happy to split ourselves up to not be disruptive. We were told to wait outside and that we would be called when our table(s) were ready, cut to 10 minutes later we have the owner coming out saying “if you don’t come in you loose your table” followed by “find a seat and if you don’t I’ll give it away”.“

“Hashbrowns were perfect, fresh and not greasy. Sourdough toast with thier preserves was great. Eggs were cooked perfect ? chicken fried steak was made really well, perfect amount of breading, not greasy, lots of meat. The gravy was wonderful too. Highly recommend. Oh! And I cannot forget to mention the vienese coffee, never had one before but now I want any coffee I have to be this ?“

“This is my favorite type of place. On the surface, it’s rough around the edges and has a very local feel to it. But once you walk through the door, you will find a fantastic place with interesting details and very good food. The person at front said they are having a terrible time finding good employees so they made the tough decision to have people seat and serve themselves in order to keep the restaurant going. We certainly didn’t mind and if anything, it enhanced the evening. We were all impressed with the quality of the food and I’d call Midtown Public House a must see place in Port Angeles. Don’t let the old and non descript exterior fool you. This is a great place to eat.There appears to be an attached bar that was pretty busy though we never went in since our parents were with us.Hope this place stays afloat. “I rarely walk away from a place saying I’m glad that I didn’t order more. The portions are AMAZING. The service is amazing, but not for anyone who needs a nursemaid. The food is awesome, delicious, in great portion, but it is not gluten free or vegan.I was so full. I was so happy. I was glowing the rest of the day. And I just got some eggs, sausage, and a couple of pancakes!! That’s usually what I eat as a warm up while breakfast is cooking!!If you’re on your way to a ten mile hike, stop here!!!“

“Dupuis is top notch for dinner! The food is always very fresh. The menu is fairly simple, but always has something yummy and for everybody. Every time I’ve been there the servers have been so kind and attentive. For a special occasion or just a regular dinner you can’t go wrong here. It’s obvious that the food is from scratch nothing processed here. The desserts are always amazing as well, and I am not someone who gets drinks but I’ve heard they make excellent drinks as well. The chimichurri steak is excellent, potato Dupuis and the made from scratch salad dressings are so delicious as well. I could go on and on glad to have this place around I highly recommend Dupuis.“

“Accidentally left a loaf of sourdough when I bagged my order. Got home 30 miles away and realized I left it behind. Not going to drive 60 miles to go get it so I called the store to say an employee could take it home. They actually took my name and story, and put it in the till so I could get another for free next time I come in! Great customer service!“

“I love Fast Burrito! It would be great if they could update the inside of the restaurant a bit, but I absolutely love this place! Definitely recommend the Carne Asada fries, I always add limes and extra cilantro to kick it up a notch. The Horchata is always cold and delicious, Also, the seafood burrito is outstanding, but my favorite by far is the Carne Asada fries. Delicious flavor, served over the perfect medium with which to deliver food. French fries.“

“Shirley's was a great little stop on my way through the area. The atmosphere was great, and it was decked out from ceiling to floor with nick nacks! The food was very good and affordable. The ladies were nice when serving my friend and myself. Overall a nice little place I would recommend checking out foe some breakfast.“

“I LOVE burgers and these guys make fantastic burgers. That being said, I cannot understate how phenomenal the chicken burgers are. It's the first burger joint I've been to where I have a tough time picking between the two because both are just perfect.Only complaint is the bun falls apart kind of fast., but that's because they're just so juicy and delicious.“

“Stopped in here for lunch with my wife and had a great experience. We tried a 4 beer flight, the Bruschetta (delicious, bread appeared homemade) and the meat lovers pizza. Service was excellent, food was delicious and the atmosphere is authentic, not fancy, so if you need that go somewhere else but the place felt "real" if that makes sense. I hate the typical fake "crafted" hipster environments I come across in too many of these breweries in the west. Worth a visit!“

“Fabulous Thai food in Port Angeles! They are extremely good at helping you determine appropriate spice level for your meal and have a GREAT selection of unique cocktails-- we had the Lycheetini (lychee-based martini) which was incredibly aromatic and flavorful. The atmosphere was peaceful and the entire place was clearly very thoughtful decorated. Several were attentive and knowledgeable. Only downside is very short hours-- 4-8p the Fri at were there.“

“Ordered from westside in the evening. 20 minute pickup. 5 min from lodge we were staying in. Made a build your own pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and pineapple. Thin crust. They provide plates at no charge. The pizza was great. Would definitely order from here again.“

The chicken salad with eggs, bacon and more was sooo good. The crab and shrimp melt was delicious but I expected open faced with a pile of crab and shrimp. It could've used more meat, but was very good. All the staff was very friendly and comfortable to be around, like we were old friends, but this was my first time at Downriggers. The staff was also very attentive and our server was quick. It was also nice to see the staff helping each other. There were three of us so our server and another server brought all of our food at once, together. This owners really knows how to run a restaurant. It is like a well oiled machine. Highly recommended and can't wait to go again! I'm going to get my own fish and chips next time.“

“This restaurant has recently changed hands. Although I didn't meet the new owner while we were there apparently she was on premise. The food seems better. It was hot and very tasty. I'm hoping that in the future the interior is updated a little. Although clean, it is still dated. I wish the new owners the very best. This restaurant has the potential to be one of the best in Port Angeles.“

“8 months ago, I reviewed them after a VERY disappointing first experience and gave them 2 stars. In the last 2 weeks, I have been back twice (once for lunch, once dinner). I am now a convert! The food was very good. The rice was moist, the beans were creamy, not soupy, and the entreés were flavorful and cooked perfectly. I recommend the Chile Colorado and the Burrito Del Mar. The Cielo Y Tierra is another good option. I'm glad I gave them another look. I guess I just caught them on an off day on my first visit.“

“Lily, our server, was fantastic! We enjoyed a three course meal celebrating our honeymoon, and it was a fantastic meal! We were also able to snag the Twilight table, which offered a bit of seclusion in their busy restaurant. Unfortunately, our table cloth was quite dirty and a few pieces of cheese were sprinkled everywhere. We watched another server buss and clean a table, so I’m assuming it’s because of the cloth.Besides that, the bruschetta, mushroom ravioli, moscato & more was fantastic.Thank you Lily & Bella Italia for such a fantastic meal!“
