“What a surprise find! The staff were lovely, the service was excellent and the food was amazing. On a holiday from the UK to Seattle -> Vancouver -> Washington State we'll talk about this place as we tell our holiday tales. My prawns were amazing and my kids loved the food.“

“I mean it's hard to start because everything is top notch.I have been going to Fraisers since 2009, left whidbey for a while and now I'm back. The taste, atmosphere, and amazingness of this place has only improved. I'm convinced I'll never dine at a place like this anywhere else.Food is incredibly delicious, have not had 1 bad meal ever. So relaxing and romantic. Perfect portions, but yes you are always going to want more.Steak meals are absolutely amazing, look out for the pork loin special and seafood payeya! I had the chicken and waffle and rib meal and they were also really good. They have these meatballs appetizer right now that are amazing, but nothing beats the fondue to start. For desert definitely indulge in the cheese cake or the passion fruit cream. They do give you bread with a different humus spread every time which is really good. They also have a good selection on wines and whiskey/bourbon to pair with your meals. They make a mean cape cod. Honestly if you have not gone here and you are in Whidbey, you are not doing it right. Yes it is pricy, but I DO NOT CARE and neither will you.“

“Regrettably I must write I had the worst breakfast in recent memory this morning at Island Cafe. They get the food out extremely fast to you. I wish the cook had slowed down and not overcooked my eggs.I like eggs over medium. These eggs the whites were mostly brown. The hardest part of the meal was the potatoes. Extremely over salted. Big flakes of translucent salt heavily applied. I tried scrapping off but gave up . Why not let the diner add salt to their preference? Lastly the toast had butter heavily slathered on . The diner was not busy. I was the only one at the counter.This is not the time to be slinging hash !For me it was twenty dollars wasted .I eat a bacon and egg breakfast at a diner often. It is my favorite meal . Never again at this location.BTW the server was very nice. She apologized when I explained about the potatoes.I don't like sending food back . My meal is ruined at that point.“

“The best BBQ food I've had in a long time. Went there during lunch and was pretty busy. Food took some time to get out but was worth the wait. I will definitely come back. The cornbread was fresh and with the brisket, was the highlight of the meal.“

“This is one of the best Thai restaurants I have been to! The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered take-out and it was prepared on time and was wrapped in foil, so was HOT after traveling home. The dishes were all so tasty - we got the veggies with shrimp, chicken fried rice, cashew chicken nut, pad Thai and the deep fried egg rolls and crab wontons. The crab wontons were delectable! We were so pleased with the service and food, and the prices were so reasonable! We will definitely be back!“

“Tokyo Stop has been here several years but my understanding is it has recently been taken over by new owners and the change is very noticeable in the positive. The place has been remodeled taking on a more Japanese ambiance although the remodel is apparently still ongoing. The food has been remodeled also and I must say it is very good and the portions are very much in line with the prices. While dining-in seating is available they obviously are doing a huge takeout business. Now as for the food, we ate there last evening for the first time in over a year and it was so good we had to go back for lunch today. While it is primarily a takeout restaurant the quality of their food parallels that of an established sit down restaurant.If you have read some of my previous reviews on other establishments you know I give credit where it is due but also let it be known if you are better off going elsewhere. I highly recommend this Tokyo Stop; good value for your hard earned dollars.“

“Seriously so good!! Had the jerk chicken, nice spicy heat without being overwhelming. Tender, well seasoned. Great mac and cheese, and cabbage. No complaints at all. And the server was so friendly. Wholesome experience, great food, not terribly expensive and well worth the money. Already excited to try everything else on the menu!“

“Some of the Very BEST food I’ve had and I’ve eaten world wide! My Dad and I ate there at least once a week prior to his death. I now live in Floridida and they have nothing like it here! “I'm a pretty big conosur of Asian food and I've tried 3 other resturants in the Oak Harbor area and this one is by far the best. Whenever I go to a new Thai, or Chinese, resturant I always order the same thing, fried rice, pad thai, one appetizer. Naung Mai hit the nail on the hit for each one definitely will be coming back! Oh and the food is actually spicy which is freaking awesome :) delicious job!“

“My wife and are from Oakland , California where we have enjoyed what I consider some of the best Mexican food the state has to offer so we're a little spoiled in that aspect lol. This place was absolutely the best we've had in the state of Washington thus far! We had the wet Chile Colorado burrito and it was FIRE! good size portion and perfect balance of meat and all other ingredients. Would definitely recommend!“

“The BBQ joint is amazing! Friendly staff, clean and casual atmosphere, and the food was delicious...like, the whole family is still talking about it days later and we all got different things. The descriptions on the online menu don't do it justice. It's the only place I've ever been to that the macaroni and potato salads rival my mom's. The bbq sauce is perfect and should be bottled for purchase. We will definitely be back!Kid-friendliness: Best mac and cheese! My 9 year old, super picky eater said the Mac and cheese was a 10/10 and it was his favorite meal on our vacation.“

“I’m so glad I read the reviews instead of going off the star rating. This place was DELICIOUS and their customer service to go was great. I had a craving and every other place was closing early for some reason but they let us put one in at the last minute and everything still tasted fresh!We got* spring rolls (so good and crispy)* chicken chow mein (could have used some more chicken and veggies but it was still delicious. Some places ruin their chow mein by overcooking the noodles. Not here!)* pork fried rice (this was my favorite! The pork was so good!)* kung pao (my husband had this and said the flavor was really good and the veggies were cooked perfectly)Side note: they package their to go so well! “Thank you Seabolt Restaurant for accommodating us with our dog! The team was so nice and kind. The servant had a lot of patience listening to the kids, and checking with the kitchen what was available. Loved the environment.. the TV showing the deep ocean... The pictures on the walls matching very well the ocean topic of the restaurant... the food... In few words... EXCELLENT. Very good job to management making everything just perfect. “I stopped in at All Sports on my home from work just to check out what was going on.The time was around 5pm on a Monday night and there were about 6 customers inside when I walked in.There are 3 or 4 pool tables, a couple electronic dart boards and the new style, digital jukebox on the wall.I walked up to the bar and placed my drink order and snagged a menu. After studying the menu for a bit, I decided on the Super Nachos.After a few minutes, I get my nachos and they were epic! Both in amount and in flavor.The Super Nachos consists of:Tortilla chipsBlack olivesOnionsTomatoesJalapeñoGround Beef (or chicken)Nacho cheeseSour creamSalsaThe toppings are placed on top of chips (as opposed to layered in between the chips), however the Nacho cheese is on top of, and inside, the mound of chips. I really do not like it when everything is just dumped on top of the chips and there is a pile of dry chips under the layer of toppings. I am very happy that is NOT the case with these chips.The bartender was friendly and would banter with the customers (I’m guessing they were regulars because she would address them by name and ask specific questions about their day and life).My experience was enjoyable. But I like quiet and relaxing places to drink. Monday night at 5 pm is fairly quiet at All Sports in Oak Harbor“

“Kinda of an odd place for a brewing, it's in a stripmall plaza. Beer was overall good with friendly folks inside. They have a decent selection of beers, even N/A beers and a fridge of soda, juice, etc. A couple people on the bar, and a table of knitters. No dogs allowed since they serve food, and there's no outdoor seating, so leave the puppers at home“

“I visited here for the first time for a business Christmas party, I wasn't sure what to expect. When I drove in to park I was impressed with the building which looked like it was newly constructed and nice finishes you can tell they went an extra mile to leave a lasting impression. The inside was equally impressive and reminded of that of an upscale China restaurant you would visit in New York or New Jersey.We had a a buffet style lay out that was brought straight to our table where the hostess orderd just about everything on the menu, so when I say I've tried almost everything on their menu, it's quite true, literally. some of my favorites were the kung pao chicken and szechuan beef, as well as the hot and sour soup....all so yummy and delicious. No cutting corners here. The service was as friendly and prompt. We had a party of 23 and everything went smoothly. I highly recommend this place and I've been back twice, chicken wraps are definitely something to try as well“

“Cute spot, best Mexican food in the area. The salsa and ‘red sauce’ used on top of my omelette could use some work, but overall was a great experience. Our server Teresa was fantastic, very attentive, made great drinks, and gave great recommendations. We will for sure come back if we visit the area again. Very clean, and everyone was so friendly. Music was also great, just an added bonus.“
