“This review actually encompasses several visits in a one month period. Several friends and I had their yummy scones multiple times. They are so good I bought a dozen frozen to take home! Service was always good but twice exceptional. Those two times were both by Marly. The first time is when a friend and I walked over (30 min beach walk) on Father's Day. We were unaware they were serving a brunch and having people enter a different way. We only wanted coffee and a scone and were about to walk away when Marly came walking over and asked if we had a question. I asked if we could get our order to go and she was great about it! She got our order in a very timely manner, was super cheerful and even put a happy face and cheery note on our to go bag. She made our day. Another time we walked over and were standing at the counter. Several wait staff passed by - we did observe they were busy - but the first time Marly came by she stopped and took our order. Her customer service can't be beat and makes me want to return! The only negative I have to say is when a friend and I came for a sit down meal and both ordered the quiche. It was not good. The consistency was "off" and the top was brown (as in overcooked). My friend commented that she thought they probably had frozen it and it was reheated. To be fair, we should have returned it but we were in a hurry. I didn't even both to eat all of mine. I would give them another try for an egg breakfast but not the quiche unless I see an order go by that looks fresh!“

“We finally had a chance to give Jumbo Burrito a try! Our little family walked in 10 minutes prior to closing and these guys were SO accommodating and so friendly. Everyone in there was positive and just had a great attitude. Super clean restaurant as well, and the food is fantastic especially for the price. Tons of quality meat & sides. The veggies are fresh and just taste amazing. Thank you guys so much for accommodating us last minute and getting us a hot meal after a long day. Much appreciated!! The jumbo portion lives up the hype!“

“Mai Thai is our go-to for Thai food. We chose it over Naung Mai in Oak Harbor initially because of the price difference, but the portions are bigger and there's more of your chosen meat/protein in the soups and entrees. That said- be aware you have to LIKE SPICE. Recently it has been difficult to get "spice 1", which should just be a hint. If you say "no spice", it's OK, but not Thai, right? But if there's a difference between 1 and 4, I can't tell. Our Pho soup tonight (spice 1) was burning our throats. The pad thai was OK at spice 1, but still quite a bit spicier than I would assume 1 would be. This is a new development for this restaurant, so it is probably a new chef. Just BE AWARE. Anyway, most people complain the food in the PNW is too bland, so you won't have that problem, at least! And as far as ordering, we use the online app. Add five mins to the time it says your pick up is ready. It is never ready. Door Dashers use this place constantly, and they clog the order process. There is indoor dining, but we have never used it, thanks to Covid protocols. Also- a final word on parking. The parking lot has been sectioned off from looping through the driver's ed school next door. Therefore the lot is super tough to turn and get out. You are better off parking along the strip by the salon to the left of the restaurant and walking up. Please be careful in this area of town at night.“

“One of the best veggie burritos I’ve had in a very long time! Stopped in for a to-go lunch traveling from Bellingham to Oak Harbor. The lovely lady at the register was very kind, informing me that it would be a few minutes wait. The place is small, but bright and clean. After just a few minutes my order was brought to me outside, where I was waiting with my dog. There was so much food! I ate a large portion for lunch, and still have plenty for dinner and lunch tomorrow! The burrito was stuffed with flavorful vegetables, rice and beans, and covered in a super tasty sauce, cheese, and guacamole. The huge burrito, chips salsa and tip was under $20! Highly recommend this fantastic restaurant.“

“I go to Port Angeles typically once a month. The last year, I have been making this trip on Tuesdays. I arrive at the ferry early and take a walk. That’s when I think, it would nice to have a coffee. Oh ya, Callens is right across the street. Unfortunately, they are closed on Tuesdays and don’t open till 9am the other days. I only bring this up because virtually every time, I see people walking up to find the only business capable of serving coffee at the ferry terminal closed. Obviously, I have no idea how much staffing they have and certainly they need a day off. I am only pointing out they have a captive audience here looking for coffee and possibly something to eat while they wait for the ferry. Thank you for the opportunity to express my thoughts as I would like to support this local business.“

“Exactly what we needed tonight! We've been driving past their sign for years and tonight we finally went and boy it hit the spot! Our one regret was getting takeout instead of dining in because the smell of the food was tormenting us on the drive home. The gyros were perfect and the dolmathes were exactly what I was craving. And obviously the hummus was amazing. We're definitely adding it to our rotation of favorite restaurants in Oak Harbor. No pictures because we ate it all before I thought to write a review 😅“

“I’ve come here a few times for breakfast, and now that my short stay in oak harbor comes to a close, I wish I ate here more. The staff treats you like family (the kind you like) and are very attentive. Never have I been fully out of coffee or needed to wave anyone down. The food always comes out cooked exactly as ordered hot and fast. If you’re looking for a good breakfast and a great home town diner feel, swing by and grab some pancakes.“

“My friend and I stopped here after spending time on Orcas Island. I was here visiting from Missouri and craving seafood. They accommodated my craving crab. Great service from a cute new employee who took great care of us. As well as the staff who took care of our meal. It was so good and we were so appreciative. Atmosphere was great well clean and kept establishment and best of all was the absolutely amazing customer service provided by Lupe the manager I believe & Teri out waitress and angel and buddy waiters They had us all in awe with seriously how fast efficient and friendly they were being smiles thru the whole night with occasional jokes . Part of 16 and not one single negative comment from anyone and everyone loved the food too! Did not catch the name of the cooks in house but wow from start to finish from entry way to our party tables to the customer services oh and they sang happy birthday for my lady!??
