Very tasty food here. They can’t cook gyros like it done over seas due to health code requirements (don’t think it legal in USA). Meat is cooked on large grill which ensures no food borne illness. That being said, the fries are delicious and the gyros always taste great and always has a lunch and dinner crowd.
I am hovering in-between three and four stars with this one. I first had Hillbilly Gyros when they used their food truck in Mount Vernon at Farmstrong Brewing and Steve and I really liked what we had each and every time from them. Later we found out that they had a permanent location on Whidbey Island which made us very excited to try it because we were disappointed when they weren't at Farmstrong anymore. Hole-in-the-wall joint.Nice and warm inside.Got to-go for 3. Was made very quickly.Everyone loved their food!Friendly staff.Fun menu.Highly suggest!Vegetarian options: There is a vegetarian all veggie Gyro on the menu. Looked good, but needed meat in mine.
