“Islanders who finally made it in to this fabulous restaurant! Had an amazing meal. Husband enjoyed short ribs and I had the catfish prepared with cumin which was creative and very tasty! Excellent wine and the chocolate cake paired with the Madera was excellent. Atmosphere is chic cozy almost lounge like with a great water view. We will definitely be back! Cheers!!“

“I go to Port Angeles typically once a month. The last year, I have been making this trip on Tuesdays. I arrive at the ferry early and take a walk. That’s when I think, it would nice to have a coffee. Oh ya, Callens is right across the street. Unfortunately, they are closed on Tuesdays and don’t open till 9am the other days. I only bring this up because virtually every time, I see people walking up to find the only business capable of serving coffee at the ferry terminal closed. Obviously, I have no idea how much staffing they have and certainly they need a day off. I am only pointing out they have a captive audience here looking for coffee and possibly something to eat while they wait for the ferry. Thank you for the opportunity to express my thoughts as I would like to support this local business.“

“Stopped in on a special Saturday afternoon. Everyone was working so hard! Everyone was very nice and even though they were super busy they took the time to make sure we got exactly what they wanted. “I hard awful things..... I ordered delivery anyway; SO GLAD I DID!!! Very good food, nice selection and some unique dishes too (the 9 flavors beef!) Delivery is very fast and only $3 in OakHarbor. Staff always seems very friendly, I have ordered from there 3 times now and I am very impressed.“

“Manager Alfredo and staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We always use our pan coins to bring something home, which is packaged extremely well with plenty of condiments. The decor is extremely comfortable, warmly lit, with outstanding wall photos showing the food at its best, and an excellent choice of background music, which is current and lively to keep the atmosphere fun and the meal enjoyable from beginning to end. The hours are also appreciated as we don’t have too many places in this town that stay open a little on the late side for those times when a later bite is needed. This IHOP and this manager are definite assets to our community.“
