“Great place to buy ethanol free gas. This protects older carburetors, rubber hoses, and prevents the attraction of water into your gas tank. It is especially useful for small engines, and other engines you don't use very often or that sit all winter. It's worth the extra money. The mini Mart is also nice if you need a few small things. It's the farthest south mini market on the island, and the closest to the camano Island State Park.“

She was great, it was our first time visiting Blue Heron and she was so kind and welcoming. The waiters/waitresses can really make or break an experience and we were very pleased with her. The food was incredible, she gave great recommendations and everything seemed perfect. Thank you all!“

“Islanders who finally made it in to this fabulous restaurant! Had an amazing meal. Husband enjoyed short ribs and I had the catfish prepared with cumin which was creative and very tasty! Excellent wine and the chocolate cake paired with the Madera was excellent. Atmosphere is chic cozy almost lounge like with a great water view. We will definitely be back! Cheers!!“

“I go to Port Angeles typically once a month. The last year, I have been making this trip on Tuesdays. I arrive at the ferry early and take a walk. That’s when I think, it would nice to have a coffee. Oh ya, Callens is right across the street. Unfortunately, they are closed on Tuesdays and don’t open till 9am the other days. I only bring this up because virtually every time, I see people walking up to find the only business capable of serving coffee at the ferry terminal closed. Obviously, I have no idea how much staffing they have and certainly they need a day off. I am only pointing out they have a captive audience here looking for coffee and possibly something to eat while they wait for the ferry. Thank you for the opportunity to express my thoughts as I would like to support this local business.“

The staff treats you like family (the kind you like) and are very attentive. Never have I been fully out of coffee or needed to wave anyone down. The food always comes out cooked exactly as ordered hot and fast. If you’re looking for a good breakfast and a great home town diner feel, swing by and grab some pancakes.“

“Manager Alfredo and staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We always use our pan coins to bring something home, which is packaged extremely well with plenty of condiments. The decor is extremely comfortable, warmly lit, with outstanding wall photos showing the food at its best, and an excellent choice of background music, which is current and lively to keep the atmosphere fun and the meal enjoyable from beginning to end. The hours are also appreciated as we don’t have too many places in this town that stay open a little on the late side for those times when a later bite is needed. This IHOP and this manager are definite assets to our community.“
