“last weekend we stopped by for some food, and did not have big expectations, and were pleasantly surprised! The Pub & Eatery has gluten free options which are really good. A basket of their French frise was unusual and deliciose, and curry clamps, and gf pizza, all were good options!Dietary restrictions: gluten“
“This place, for years, has been consistently five stars in my book. Love their pizza and Caesar! We recently got married in La Conner and stayed at the La Conner Country Inn and we needed to order 6 pizzas and 2 Caesar salads for all the grandchildren so all of the Adults could enjoy a fine dining experience while the young ones were being babysat——they were spot with their service and the kids were happy campers!“
“We have been here a few times and tried their nicoise salad and bouillabaisse. For dessert, we tried apple tart with vanilla ice cream and blueberry bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. Every thing was absolutely delicious. They make their own bread, and it tastes fantastic with wonderful texture. We will go back to try other dishes on their menu. Their service is also very, very good. We highly recommend this restaurant.“
“Food was great! Unfortunately, we showed up without reservations, but we were able to just have dinner at a table in the bar without any wait. Started with Seared Beef Tips, and Calamari; both were good. Then we had the Slow Roasted Prime Rib, and the Rib Eye with Sautéed Mushrooms added. Both were tasty with the accompanied sauces or plain. Great dinner experience in a cozy little town!“
“Sweet little restaurant that is next to our Skagit airport. You can watch the small planes and helicopters take off and land. Delicious food. Fun drinks.Dietary restrictions: GF optionsParking: Parking near door.Kid-friendliness: Very kid and family friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.“
“Amazing food and service! Very welcoming environment and great spot for a fancier meal out.Table ordered a variety from the menu:Charcuterie board was delish. We selected a honey ricotta, cocktail onions, sourdough bread, salami and really enjoyed it. You can mix and match as you wantFrench onion soup was tasty but it would be a big portion to have along with an entree. Maybe consider sharing.Paella for two was delicious. I would say it’s able to serve three easily. Plus if you get an appetizer with it you will leave full.Patatas a la brava had a considerable amount of potatoes and very tasty sauces. Would recommend sharing.Scallop crudo was delish. It has a citrusy flavor that’s refreshing.Skagit valley burger hits the spot. Good for pickier eaters but would recommend venturing out and trying one of the other plates on the menu.Egg nog crème brûlée was a good way to end the meal. Egg nog flavor didn’t overpower the dessert. If you are looking to have coffee at the end of your meal just be aware that the French press they bring to the table makes around four cups and not single servings.“
“Food is delicious, service is great. Been here twice and plan to come again any time we are in town. Highly recommend anything involving gravy or biscuits (or both). Breakfast potatoes are perfectly cooked. Oh, and the pork belly is a great choice for a meat addition to any brrakfast.“
“Beautiful little restaurant pumping out some delicious brunch food!! Laidback environment & excellent customer service. The food was fresh, fantastic & came in generous portions. I had oatmeal cooked in Chai & my fiancé had the granola with yogurt & fruit. What a great way to start the day!!“
“My husband and I go to this restaurant a couple times a month...mainly because one of the chefs is our son Eric (Carrot). The food is always very delicious and we enjoy the atmosphere as well.Thank you to Josh and Bobbie for making the restaurant better then it has been. The employees are very professional and friendly. We highly recommend this restaurant as a great place off the beaten path to try or continue to go to!!Thank you, Victor & Bev Caratachea“
“We had cocktails and dinner at Adrift on a Friday night in April. It was fairly busy but we were seated within 5 minutes. We ordered a Manhattan cocktail which was so so in quality, actually not enough vermouth so it was more like whiskey and water.Food was far better than the drink was. My spouse had baked cod which was flavorful and cooked just right. I had the blackened salmon tacos which had plenty of salmon and were seasoned just right.Food is pretty much unaccompanied, no bread or salad with entrees. However serving size was good so we had plenty to eat. I’d give 5 stars for food and 3 for the bar but the restaurant part should be weighed more since there’s a great pub just down the street anyway.Service was ok but we had to wait a while to get the drink order in. Once we got thing a going it improved. The restaurant does have a noise problem though. Hard ceilings with a crowd make it hard to hear even at your table. Decorating was in theme and nice, just a bit echoing.“
“Great service as usual. The staff here is friendly and fast they all offer help at all tables we ordered a couple of drinks and the spinach artichoke dip with pita . It came super hot! Could use a bit of seasoning. It was good not great. Can't beat the atmosphere and service though. A lot of people and loud ambiance. They offer many different beers and ciders as well. With a stop for sure.“
“We usually love going to The Net and enjoy their old-fashioned smash burgers, their crinkle cut fries, and their amazing tartar sauce. Unfortunately, the last few times that we've been there, the fries were horribly overcooked almost to the point that they were thick chips. Disappointed, but will most likely go back and try something else other than fries next time.“
“We took a ride down to Skagit county from Whatcom on Easter Sunday because it was such a beautiful day. We got hungry and were looking for the Farmhouse, but it seems the Farmhouse is gone and Shawn O’Donnell’s has taken over. From the Irish music to the beautiful wood around the bar and booths this was a very wonderful atmosphere. The service was quick and friendly and the food came quickly too. Everything was absolutely delicious. We have a great time, highly recommend!!“
“We have been eyeballing this place for years saying we need to try it someday. We finally did and we are sad we never made it in sooner. The food was absolutely incredible and the waitress April is an amazing asset to this establishment. We will be back soon! You will not be sorry you went!Kid-friendliness: My daughter is 12. I did see another kid in there quite a bit younger than her.“
“Visiting for a few days, Very cute restaurant, would have never guessed it was a Mexican restaurant from the outside. Our server Mayra was so sweet and very attentive, exceptional customer service from everyone working! Unfortunately the food fell short for us, not bad, not memorable. A bit pricy for what you get but overall the place itself makes up for that.“
“Thank you Shelby and chef,A week ago Tuesday my friend Bob and I had the best breakfast that either of us had in decades. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. Everything about the service and food was positive. The Majestic is truely a hidden gem for Anacortes. Other restruants should visit your hotel to learn how to cook and serve great meals. Anacortes should be your destination just to visit the Majestic. Five stars is not a high eough rating. Heading back there next week. ?Wheelchair accessibility: Handycap parking was close and a flat walk into the back of the hotel“
“Never tried Poutine before and I'm very glad this was my first experience. Cheese curds and fries were crispy and the gravy was delicious. Grilled salmon is a must if you're looking for something lighter. I usually hate carrots and most chefs don't cook sugar snaps very well. I finished both veggies, they were fantastic. My husband enjoyed the Cobb as well. The staff helps each other out and are very friendly to customers. I would recommend this restaurant over the Cafe in the Casino. And I would definitely return for the Poutine.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible, tables available“
“Close to the dedicated Guermes ferry, with a panoramic view of Anacortes and its ship yards.Well shaped sandwich and burger menu, as well as soups and salads, with a beautiful outside garden. My "ancient grains" vegeburger came in a home baked bun with hand cut fries, the burger was crunchy and very tasty. I also chose a Chukanut Pilsner for the perfect end of summer lunch.Fun place to go, leave time for exploring this small island.“
“Lovely local dine in/drive in burger place and more! Staff is a bunch of young future Anacortesians and the food choices is always phenomenal, simple and predictable! The chalkboard is easy to read and overall nice place to chill, big windows to look around. Also the burgers were great just add ketchup of course. I also had fish and chips here and definitely recommend that too, if you live in Anacortes I would say definitely drop by and "eat outside" here and support local. No dont go to Jack in the Box, save that for the late night cravings and just be patient... trust the process and wait for your food to get made, this isnt fast food, this is fresh food ;)“
“Lady working the counter is pleasant. Ordered deep fried oysters (which came with fries) and chowder in the bread bowl. I was blown away by the size of the oysters and the quality of fries. Bread was soft enough to rip apart after finishing the chowder. I would go back again to try the “
“The chicken special on the menu was SO delicious! Very messy to eat but worth it. The lovely waitress we had, I wish I could remember her name. She was so friendly and a great server! I loved the quick zodiac chat we had!The surprise trivia night we weren't expecting made for a fun evening for my traveling partner and I!“
“The food was really pretty good. tradional selection . my hubby had a steak and it was good he he said it was cooked perfectly . i had the country fried steak and was very happy how tender and yummy it was. fire roasted veggies which was a nice touch. Service was good . Tho they did seem to of run out of a few selections . please look into improving that that was disappointing. nice surrounding and I like sitting by a window while eating. i am planning to take more people out there in the future.“
“Been going here since before I can even remember. In my opinion one of the best hot chocolate in the world. Have only ever disliked one dish, that being the macaroni and cheese. Every staff member I have encountered is very sweet. Service is timely, as well as wait time usually. It can get pretty busy, and crowded. Which obviously makes the restaurant very loud, and lively which might throw some people off. However, I personally have rarely felt uncomfortable here. Overall, food, service, and environment is pretty great. I definitely recommend this place to most people.Kid-friendliness: I remember when I was younger they had a kids menu, and kids sized drinks with take home reusable cups. I'm not sure if they provide this anymore, however, they are very kid friendly anyways. The bar isn't separate from all dining spaces, however, it's semi separated from the entrance dining area via railing. And completely away from the main sitting area, as well as outdoor seating. If thats of any concern. This establishment has always been very kindly to children.“
“The food was excellent. The best I have had at a diner. The people were friendly and the atmosphere was calm. I can't wait to go back.Kid-friendliness: All are welcomed.Parking: You can park out front of the building.Wheelchair accessibility: A little difficult but no problem if you have help.“
“The staff are so friendly and inviting. They are happy to make special requests and are so accommodating. We love the food! The sausage gravy and biscuits were great, and the hollandaise sauce on their Eggs Benedict was the best in Skagit Valley. My husband loved their chicken fried steak. The raspberry rhubarb pie was very tasty. We tried all 3 pie flavors, and each of us liked our own flavor choice the best. The decor has a lot of fun signs to read while you wait for your food.It seems like they know everyone that comes in, and I love that feel.I highly recommend them for breakfast. I can't wait to try their lunch food.“
