our dinner with Ford was awesome
Stopped here on our way back to Missouri. I grew up just down the road from this place and this was my first time eating here ( I'm embarrassed to say). we had the fish and chips and shrimp basket, both were amazing! I have eaten A LOT of fish and chips in my life and this was hands down the best. I love the shaded outdoor dining area, it was clean and comfortable. The staff here, is super friendly. If there is a line DO NOT let it deter you from stopping. It is work the wait....read full review
It has been awhile since I've stopped here because I don't usually have the time to stand in line. They have added parking in the back and maybe more picnic tables, but the capacity of the shack hasn't changed. Besides the line to order, there was a 45 min. wait to get it. This was after the lunch peak, but on the 4th of July. People after us had a 60 min. wait.
