“One of favourite watering holes. The food is always good. But for some unknown reason they took the dynamite salad off the menu. It was original and excellent, a deconstructed California roll salad. Sarah is the best waitress ever and has a memory like a clock.“
“I would recommend this place if they got rid of the old cranky server we had on Saturday. we arrived at around 1pm and waited for the meat draw. it was very busy but I have never in my life been to an establishment where you felt awkward for ordering drinks...every time we asked she sighed and snarled and kept saying ok but I told you the kitchens backed up. we understood that and kept saying it's OK we understand but why make your customers feel uncomfortable? we were going to order food but we ended up leaving instead. we also wanted to join a group of friends on the other side of the pub who had the huge table with room for us but she made every excuse for us to not be allowed to. great food and good atmosphere but I don't recommend sitting on her side of the pub.“
“Great food and atmosphere!I got the chance to try their French onion soup which was the BOMB. You’re gonna regret not getting it - it’s so flavourful and the cheese is just right. I also had the Mile High burger with the fries which is enough to feed like 2 people. Didn’t take photos of it because I just devoured it. SO good.“
“Employees all attentive and polite. Location clean and comfortable.Covered patio available but very hot.Food hot and delicious! But not enough food in the Dragon Bowl for $25. I am a 140 pound female body builder and I left the table hungry. Regular drinks are $4.50 (pop) The decor is in dark colors and it was quiet until noon, when it got busy.I still recommend.“
“I was at the Horse and Ryder pub for dinner and a live show. It happened to be Darren Lee and Mario the entertainers. This was the best entertainment our group has seen in 2 years. They interacted with the audience and made us all part of the show. It was amazing. Last but not least was the amazing staff on. Our server Samantha was one if the best we have seen in ages. Handled our two tables with ease and a smile. Such a pleasant girl. She was awesome. Her lovely smile made us feel so welcome. When you have Darren Lee and Mario again please let us know. And hoping Samantha is on the same night. ♥️“
“The place is really cool! Alot of custom work! Really nice inside. The have a fireplace also. And darts on certain nights.Kid-friendliness: There is a part that kids r welcome. We had a birthday party and had 2 kids with us. They gave them crayons and something to color.“
“This place is a hidden gem. They have a burger and beer deal for 11$ that can't be beat. Great food great service. Sue was our waitress, super nice lady very friendly, and just made our experience so much better. We will definitely be going back.“
“I love this pub. I've been going here for YEARS! The staff are great, the food is always good and the prices are on point! One of the best pubs in the Fraser Valley. They also have fun nights like trivia, comedy, etc, and sometimes they have a DJ on weekends! I highly recommend checking it out. ALSO, the nail salon beside the pub is amazing. It's called Lunaria Beauty Studio and Aria is the best!!!Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options.Parking: You can usually get a spot in the parking lot beside the pub and there's also a little stretch of street parking on 56th.“
“We're been going here for 20+ years. It's evolved from a small town bar to a lively pub as the Fort has grown into a hot tourist spot. Decor hasn't changed much though so rather dated, but that's part of its charm. Food's standard pub fare, nothing remarkable. Good selection of local and import beer. Service is friendly, but it's often hard to flag down a server.“
“I dined in at Brown's Walnut Grove this evening. Tyler was our server and he was amazing! He gave informative and detailed recommendations of their food and drinks. Everything he recommended that we ordered was delicious. He was attentive, friendly, efficient and enthusiastic. He was a fantastic server and made our evening much more enjoyable!
