“Had an amazing lunch today at Sapperton District Taphouse. I ordered the House Salad with cajun chicken and my daughter had the Kung Pao Noodle Bowl. We both loved our meals! We also tried the Moscow Mule they have on tap and a pint of the Vertical Winter Ale from Tree (drank that too fast to take a pic, so good). We felt very comfortable the whole time. Lots of covid restrictions in place and we especially liked that our utensils came individually packed and sanitized. We found out this place is entirely locally owned and they have a cold beer & wine store inside!! We took home some Rock Creek Cider on our way out. We will definitely be coming back soon.“

“We came in after we attended the New Westminster Pride festival. Our server (Bev) was a delight. I'm allergic to wheat, so I was happy to see there were a couple of gluten free options on the menu. They specialize more in pizzas and burgers. My friend and I shared the nachos. They came with an adequate amount of cheese and toppings. I added a side of guacamole, it was really tasty, but the portion was a tad small. I would order 2 sides next time. The salsa needed a little salt, but otherwise it was nice and fresh. Overall we had a wonderful experience here and we will be back.“

“Hops Pub is a small Local pub located right outside the New Westminister sky train station...they have a good selection of beers and wine... they are not big on cocktails...Laid back environment...they have special events such as trivia....Covered heated patio with fire pits...open Late until 1:00 am weekends...close earlier week nights.. The kitchen closes early... so go early if you want food... they focused on drinks... My server told me i could bring in food from other establishments if i wanted...Hops is located in the same building as the Old Spaghetti Factory.. make sure you find the right door for the pub...Hops enterance is right below the escalators to sky train....the closest pub in New West to sky train... Hops is just a small basic pub...nothing special about it... if your looking for a fancy place for a Gala event... Hops is not your place...“

“July 26/25 I arranged to have a birthday party for my son - in- law 69th birthday unfortunately, he died Easter Monday. But we honoured his wishes and went forward with the party, at the elk's club.
We had around 100 people there and the compassion, kindness and accommodation were awesome! A huge thank you to Joe Edan for giving us this spot. And huge thank you to Tabitha and the other bar tender ( his name has slipped my mind ) for their amazing service.
This would not have been a success, without the team work of the staff at the Elk Club!!!

“I enjoyed this place. I’m very broke and don’t spent much apart from the main course and maybe a drink, I’m a student so often I feel servers can tell I won’t buy much so don’t offer the best service, this wasn’t the case here. They were constantly checking in on us, refilling our waters and offering great service. Food is good - offers lots of options from different cultures. I would want to come back here with family so I could maybe spend more freely. The atmosphere is casual but nice.“
