Hops, with its effortlessly gregarious, fun atmosphere and attentive staff is a New Westminster treasure. In the era of the derivative, pretentious and overpriced bar, Hops remains a real pub and the place to go to have a drink (or two) and a great time. Bravo Hops and keep it up!
Typically great staff and service here. The bartender is always on point and you never have to wait too long for a server to swing by. Very good value on the daily specials.However, not having their own kitchen is definitely detrimental. Relying on the Old Spaghetti Factory for their food means the quality probably isn't going to be consistent. The pasta is generally fine but some items come out completely wrong... like a steak sandwich requested rare which came out completely...read full review
