After informing her the tip was on the table she immediately turned around and left without offering a thank you. What the hell?”

Today, I received exceptional service from a staff member named Kamala. Despite how tired she must have been, she greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel genuinely welcome. Her kindness and professionalism impressed me greatly.

“You can tell a lot of thought and care went into the food here. My family and I really enjoyed the tempura, bento boxes, aburi nigiri, and saba oshi. At first, they thought they had given us the wrong order, but it turned out they had it right, but still let us keep the extras at no charge, which was really nice of them!
Our server was super nice and attentive, but things got crazy busy all of a sudden when the lunch crowd came in. She was trying to handle takeout phone calls, pickup orders, and dine-in customers all at once. Poor woman definitely needed some backup! She still did a great job and stayed friendly and attentive even with everything going on.
Overall, we had a really good experience and enjoyed the food a lot. We’ll definitely come back!”

“We usually really enjoy Montana's and specifically came for Wednesday's all-you-can-eat ribs. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing because of the wait times. We were seated at 8:00 and ordered right away, but it took about 35 minutes just to receive two beers and over 40 minutes for our first order of ribs. We completely understand that food can take some time when the restaurant is busy, especially on rib night, but waiting 35 minutes for two beers felt excessive. The refills were much faster afterwards and the food itself was good as usual. We still like this location, but the beginning of the experience was quite frustrating, especially since we came in very hungry.”

We were met at the door by hostess staff Sofia and Malyka who were very friendly and helpful. There are two main seating areas, indoor & outdoor. The temperature was hot and thankfully the outdoor area is covered with patio umbrellas that provided shade but did not intrude on the views or ambiance. Indeed the outdoor ambiance is quite nice with a view to the east and the vineyards. We were seated at a lovely table that made the most of the views. Our server was Rylan who provided good reliable service. The menu provides a selection of French-oriented dishes that should please most palates. I started with the Bacchus Salad which was excellent. Fresh, tasty and a great way to start the dining experience. My main dish was the Duck Leg Confit. A respectable portion, cooked to perfection. Delicious. My wife ordered the wine which I believe was a Pinot Noir which went well (almost too well!) with the food dishes. It was a superb lunch that combined great food, wine, atmosphere and of course company. I would definitely recommend a visit.”

Tangsuyook - I was trying to choose between mini and family. I’d def choose the fam size. The portion was big so we had it to go. It had lots of meat and crispy outer layer. The sauce was really good too. It didnt have any oil smell either. 5/5
Jjajangmyeon - korean jjajangmyeon these days are quite sweet because they want to use less chunjang, but this place doesnt have lots of sugar taste instead it has the umami taste of chunjang. Which means they use more chunjang to have the original taste.

Jjampong - the veggies were fire charred you can slightly taste the fire in the broth. The broth is also very deep and rich. This was the best jjampong broth I had in awhile. LOTS OF SQUID too. For Jjampong, I’ve seen so many places have broccoli. (Broccoli = not legit) This was my favorite in tonights menu.

Cleanliness: table was not sticky nor slippery, all the utensils and even the sauce on the side was clean. Washroom was clean as well.

After an hour my husband finally went into the restaurant to pay our bill as it was perfectly obvious we were never going to have anyone take our food order. I tried to speak to a staff member and she could not have cared less and rolled her eyes to another staff member. It seems as though having a customer be ignored and dismissed is just a trivial event for them. We certainly won't bother this place with our business again. “Absolutely! I'm really happy with their customer service. I usually visit around 3:00 a.m. after my night shift, which is a very exhausting time for those of us working overnight.
Today, I received exceptional service from a staff member named Kamala. Despite how tired she must have been, she greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel genuinely welcome. Her kindness and professionalism impressed me greatly.

“Let me tell you, I came, I ordered my food, and the man who took it was named Sukhman, such a friendly face, brightening smile making my experience all the more better feeling, I ordered a poutine and a crispy chicken patty, he kind of asked about it and I said yes in the poutine !, I said I could cut it myself, this man gets me perfect fries, perfect amount of gravy, AND, CUT. my chicken patty for me, AND put it in the poutine for me ! this took me a back but in the best way possible, the hospitality from this manager is phenomenal, I could TASTE the care put into my food tonight, I wouldn't expect going yourself to experience the exact scenario I had tonight, but the service was amazing and worth this 5 minutes of my time.

“We discovered Cortado Cafe on our recent return to BC, Walnut Grove. It has become our go to place for tea, coffee, chai tea & incredible oatmeal raisin cookies. The sandwiches are phenomenally good as well. It’s got that great independent feel, comfortable chairs with pillows for your back. The staff greet you, remember you and “ have a great day “ as you leave. I can’t say enough about this cafe. Oh yeah they play great music, currently in the middle of a Beatles session on a Sunday afternoon.”

“You can tell a lot of thought and care went into the food here. My family and I really enjoyed the tempura, bento boxes, aburi nigiri, and saba oshi. At first, they thought they had given us the wrong order, but it turned out they had it right, but still let us keep the extras at no charge, which was really nice of them!
Our server was super nice and attentive, but things got crazy busy all of a sudden when the lunch crowd came in. She was trying to handle takeout phone calls, pickup orders, and dine-in customers all at once. Poor woman definitely needed some backup! She still did a great job and stayed friendly and attentive even with everything going on.
Overall, we had a really good experience and enjoyed the food a lot. We’ll definitely come back!”

The atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing and they are always busy even on a weekday unless at the very start of the day. No reservations but have to put yourself on the waitlist. The Dutch baby is very filling enough for 2 meals for me and love the fries! Have yet to try the pasta!”

I can’t remember the exact day, but I promised myself I would come back and leave a review because Roniza and Harpeet truly deserve the recognition. They made sure our chicken was served fresh and let us know it would take a few extra minutes. We were more than happy to wait because it was absolutely worth it. Even though they looked very busy and exhausted, they never stopped smiling and treated every customer with kindness and professionalism. “Friendly staff and cozy environment in the heart of Langley BC near the Costco. Plenty of seating at the time we went with lots of amazing flavors. I enjoyed the stunning hue of purple mixed with some dairy the sweet purple potatoe latte cold version which was delicious and not too sweet.
My colleague had teas and a peach iced tea very aromatic.
Accepts credit debit, only think is you have to pay for parking in the area.
Highly recommend for a refreshing drink or binge (shaved flavor ice) so many different choices to tantalizing your taste buds!!!”

The staff are super friendly and have amazing customer service skills, they have been trained amazingly and you can see it. Even remembers peoples names which makes the experience better. “Pretty decent very similar to Earls. We tried the pizzas which were good. But would definitely recommend the cloud 9 dessert if you like bananas! The calamari is not as good as cactus or browns. Very small portion for I think $20 and not much flavor. Other than that atmosphere is nice but felt like tables were a little close together as we could hear conversations a little to well on both sides of us.”
