It's difficult sometimes to find a nice spot to bring young children, but our server, Faith, did an amazing job making my 1 and 3-year-olds comfortable and happy. The kids especially loved their Belgian waffles. The rest of the family thought that their food was delicious and that the service was friendly and prompt. It's not the first time we have been here, and it won't be the last.”

So much put into them you will need a Togo bag for the toppings ! Highly recommended ! Staff was fantastic and will be making it a regular goto spot for family outings! In fact, all the staff were very attentive. My daughter took me out for Afternoon Tea, and she certainly picked the right place. Warmly greatest by both front staff. They were very pleasant and provided a personable interaction the whole time we were there. I must have been there between 4-5 hours enjoying the experience and different beers and food. It was a cozy experience and the patrons visiting were very friendly. We were seated at the bar. Lots of parking to choose from in the plaza. Had a great time and will be returning.”

“A group of eight of us attended this location (4 adults, 4 kids) and had one of THE BEST customer service experiences ever. We were greeted by Josh as soon as we walked in the door, and he made sure that every one in our party received a smile, a kind welcome, a super fast, correct order and pleasant conversation. Our coffees were topped up, the kids were treated to lollipops, and our trays were cleared super quickly. Please let the kitchen staff know that we were all pleased with our breakfasts (everything fresh and delicious - and FAST!!) but mostly Josh absolutely made our morning!! So thanks! We will be sure to head out to this location again!!”

I always take my order to go, however the restaurant is updated, clean, and very inviting if you do want to dine-in.The food is always good, hot, and the order is always correct.I had one small issue with an order recently, and the manager responded to my email extremely quickly (like, less than an hour). She went above and beyond on ensuring my issue was a one-off, and made it right for me on my next visit, which I really appreciated (and wasn't expecting).I know this isn't a fancy 5 star restaurant, however the team really does care at this location and my experience has been very positive - Even when there was a small hiccup, they took ownership immediately and resolved it moving forward.”

“Food is great when made right! Maybe need more staff to make sure things are made correctly. Usually question the order when picking up and catch it. Today it was made wrong so they re made it which corrected the initial mistake but added beans which I don’t eat. Needless to say I didn’t know till I got home and ended up making something at home for dinner. Highly recommend more staff during peak times to you can focus on quality.”

The muffins were large and good for sharing, and the sandwiches were not too thick and were just the right size, so they were easy to eat. Above all, the cafe latte was excellent!! “Last night was my first visit to Annora. Hats off to the chef, the food was delicious in all categories ie Starters, Entree and dessert. The service however left a lot to be desired. The waitress was curt and very unfriendly. Her explanation of the different menus was not clear so when she came back to take the order, she was not happy with our interpretation of her explanation. The bus girl reached over plates of food to pick up and refill a water glass or to sprinkle pepper. That would be a learning moment where she should be told to reach from behind a customer rather than over someone's plate; Dinner dishes were being cleared from our table while one out of five customers was still eating. The same thing happened when clearing the dessert dishes, very rude. Then the waitress placed the dessert menu on the table and said that we can now look at what's available and let her know. She didn't return for at least 20 minutes and then said that the menu was not required because we had placed dessert order at the start, we could have told her that had she not ran away from the table after dropping the menu. Then when it came to the bill, one of the customers wanted to pay the bill of another person who had left for the washroom. When she said that to the waitress, the waitress was pissed and said you should have said that at the start. Well the customer couldn't because it was a surprise! Not a problem, that reaction was reflected in her tip. When the receipt came out for the customer next to me, rather than place it on the table, she more or less threw it. NOT A GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION!! However, I will repeat, the food was excellent!!”

“I was going to give it 4 stars, but after having great food, service, and atmosphere, which were all 5 stars, it was hard not to. Recently the Triple O's diner experience has been lacking, too expensive and the burgers were 'off', so we were hesitant at and OG White Spot changing our minds, but this time the original Triple O burger tasted like it did back in the 80's and all was right in the World. We will be coming back to this location, I'm not sure if the New downtown Langley one will be as good as Walnut Grove, here's hoping...”

Good customer service is not their stuff...Following owner's response:I was the managing director of a coffee chain for some years and never thought of a coffee not tasting well because of the size. It's just unacceptable.Poor customer service is saying that a better coffee taste depends on the coffee size which doesn't make sense at all. Remaking the drink is the least a business can do if the product is not up to customers' expectations. It's the business responsibility to make sure that its products are well designed and made right most of the times; not customers'.I get that people can make mistakes (we all do). But trying to convince a customer that you are doing an upgrade on a bad product even if it's "for free" is misleading. If you want me to pay "the upgrade" I will. Do you want me to not screw your score? Fine, I did so already - your croissants are the best in town by far and deserve to be complimented. But I believe you're missing the point.My wife threw her drink right after we left without saying a word, even though the barista nicely offered a new drink. She just didn't like it and preferred to avoid getting into an argument. I believe we all lost in that situation.Many customer remain silent and just don't come back. So, you can choose to listen to your customers or to keep arguing... Happy to provide more insights from my learnings and mistakes as a customer facing manager. Extra "business flavor" is free or charge!”

Baklava are good too . If I could add anything it would be two different hot sauce . I would love a hotter sauce but its minor thing .”

“My wife and I booked ahead for a lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our lunch was at 1pm on a sunny Wednesday. We were met at the door by hostess staff Sofia and Malyka who were very friendly and helpful. There are two main seating areas, indoor & outdoor. The temperature was hot and thankfully the outdoor area is covered with patio umbrellas that provided shade but did not intrude on the views or ambiance. Indeed the outdoor ambiance is quite nice with a view to the east and the vineyards. We were seated at a lovely table that made the most of the views. Our server was Rylan who provided good reliable service. The menu provides a selection of French-oriented dishes that should please most palates. I started with the Bacchus Salad which was excellent. Fresh, tasty and a great way to start the dining experience. My main dish was the Duck Leg Confit. A respectable portion, cooked to perfection. Delicious. My wife ordered the wine which I believe was a Pinot Noir which went well (almost too well!) with the food dishes. It was a superb lunch that combined great food, wine, atmosphere and of course company. I would definitely recommend a visit.”

“I would recommend this place if they got rid of the old cranky server we had on Saturday. we arrived at around 1pm and waited for the meat draw. it was very busy but I have never in my life been to an establishment where you felt awkward for ordering drinks...every time we asked she sighed and snarled and kept saying ok but I told you the kitchens backed up. we understood that and kept saying it's OK we understand but why make your customers feel uncomfortable? we were going to order food but we ended up leaving instead. we also wanted to join a group of friends on the other side of the pub who had the huge table with room for us but she made every excuse for us to not be allowed to. great food and good atmosphere but I don't recommend sitting on her side of the pub.”

Recently the Triple O's diner experience has been lacking, too expensive and the burgers were 'off', so we were hesitant at and OG White Spot changing our minds, but this time the original Triple O burger tasted like it did back in the 80's and all was right in the World. We will be coming back to this location, I'm not sure if the New downtown Langley one will be as good as Walnut Grove, here's hoping...”

“I was at the Horse and Ryder pub for dinner and a live show. It happened to be Darren Lee and Mario the entertainers. This was the best entertainment our group has seen in 2 years. They interacted with the audience and made us all part of the show. It was amazing. Last but not least was the amazing staff on. Our server Samantha was one if the best we have seen in ages. Handled our two tables with ease and a smile. Such a pleasant girl. She was awesome. Her lovely smile made us feel so welcome. When you have Darren Lee and Mario again please let us know. “My five-star rating is for Toki's Deep Fried Prawns which are the best I've ever tasted!! Not only are they deep golden brown battered crispy perfection with perfect prawns inside, but they are CLEANED prawns.This review is based on the two times we've had take-out food from Toki's. The rest of my family enjoyed the other dishes, but I didn't - only the prawns for me both times as I found the other dishes kinda 'off' and a lack of the red sauce on the sweet and sour pork.But perfect prawns are hard to find and one of my top fave things to eat so I'm okay with only liking the prawns and ordering those for myself for a perfect prawn feast!! “Interesting ambiance, wonderful pastries, very unfortunate drinks. This is the first place I've been to in my life where the coffee taste in a cappuccino may be an "extra charge" if not buying the larger size. It just sounds like a poor excuse given by a very lazy (and unskilled) barista. Good customer service is not their stuff...Following owner's response:I was the managing director of a coffee chain for some years and never thought of a coffee not tasting well because of the size. It's just unacceptable.Poor customer service is saying that a better coffee taste depends on the coffee size which doesn't make sense at all. Remaking the drink is the least a business can do if the product is not up to customers' expectations. It's the business responsibility to make sure that its products are well designed and made right most of the times; not customers'.I get that people can make mistakes (we all do). But trying to convince a customer that you are doing an upgrade on a bad product even if it's "for free" is misleading. If you want me to pay "the upgrade" I will. Do you want me to not screw your score? Fine, I did so already - your croissants are the best in town by far and deserve to be complimented. But I believe you're missing the point.My wife threw her drink right after we left without saying a word, even though the barista nicely offered a new drink. She just didn't like it and preferred to avoid getting into an argument. I believe we all lost in that situation.Many customer remain silent and just don't come back. So, you can choose to listen to your customers or to keep arguing... Happy to provide more insights from my learnings and mistakes as a customer facing manager. “Very happy with the food and service here. Had the Nashville chicken bites to start, they are super spicy, crispy yet tender, really good! Had the BBQ steak salad for the main dish. The bourbon BBQ sauce is really tasty. Delicious steak. The salad was great too. Portion size was perfect. I tried the house Antler Ale since a 20oz draft beer is 7$ on Thursdays. Also had a glass of fresh lemonade. The atmosphere is very pleasant as well. I look forward to eating here again.”

“It has been 2 and a half years since our last visit. This visit showed how they have greatly improved their processes. From the person who greets you and seats you promptly to the servers who are there to take care of your drinks and provide you time to review menu, to taking our order. The food arrived nice and hot and was delicious. It was such a change from our last visit. All I can say to Viva Mexico is congratulations on all your changes for the better. They loved their burgers and when i took a bite out of my sandwich i was like OMG its toasted, how did they know i love my sandwiches toasted. It was fantastic...i wanted another one. I was really looking forward to it, since it was my Birthday and the 90’s remind me of my high school years.Our service, drinks and food were great!The DJ however was disappointing. I swear he only played a handful of good 90’s songs. He even repeated songs and I was only there two hours. My friends & I went up to him to request some songs & he was annoyed with us.Anyway, great place. I will come back, however not to 90’s night again if it’s the same DJ.”

Our family was very excited to spend it here.Was just notified less than a week before that the restaurant got booked for an entire evening, therefore our reservation is invalid now?I’m not sure why they would accept reservations and then not fulfill them. I would assume the restaurant couldn’t be booked if other reservations were made?This date was booked over two weeks ago, so currently having to scramble to find somewhere else for this event. Not pleased. Total waste of time.”
