The food and service here were great! We ordered the lunch special that consists of a miso soup, special roll, and side for $20. The portions were big and they even gave us 2 pieces of the deep fried sushi on the house!!
Definitely recommend if you are in the area☺

Our family orders sushi weekly and we always order from Akane. The sushi is always very good and the pricing is reasonable for what you get. The staff are wonderful and very friendly. The only issue is that they seem to always be behind on their orders so our orders are usually late. I recommend if you order from them plan on it being ready about 10-15mins past the order time.
Great service and nice portions. Staff take great care of my elderly folks and know their favouites every time.

Akane Japanese Restaurant in Langley offers a lovely dining experience with beautifully presented food, especially the roll topped with shrimp and slices of avocado perfectly plated with a slice of fresh lemon. Everything tastes incredibly fresh and high quality. The food is amazing, with delicious options like the chicken teriyaki set with miso soup and salad, and a complementary fried California roll. The sushi is absolutely delicious, with each unique flavour coming through. The staff is friendly, super accommodating, and warm, making diners feel like their business is important. The cozy atmosphere is enhanced by eye-catching, beautifully done decor. The only downside is that the bento boxes are a bit pricey, but the quality and presentation are commendable. For the dynamite roll, note that some have had better elsewhere, as this one comes with 6 rolls. Overall, it is the best place around and highly recommended for anyone who loves fresh sushi.
