When I went to the Fort Langley location I had their gold digger drink, I was very impressed with all the flavour combinations! So when our 4th anniversary came around we decided to have our first date all over again. We went to Ulis again for some delicious food. When our server asked us what our plans for the day was my fiance told him that we had come to Ulis on our first date and that it was our anniversary. Our server was absolutely amazing (I wish I could remember his name, but unfortunately I can’t) he went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely experience. He even brought us out some compliantly cheesecake for us to celebrate our anniversary. Our server had no idea that my fiance had plans on popping me the question that night. I would like to thank everyone at Ulis from the bottom of my heart for helping make our special day that much more special, memorable and for the amazing service and yummy food. The food quality was top notch. We had pakora and paneer Kathi rolls and my wife and I fell in love with them. The owners are very welcoming and made us feel relaxed and we did feel homely. Really loved every bite and every minute.”

“I have to write this yesterday March 8th went for a nice walk and then to moby dicks for the there famous fish and chips, service was a hit n miss, food was great, my wife ordered a cesar with NO tabasco in a sleeve, waitress left i could tell she seemed a little complexed. She then came back to clarify and voila she received her drink, well took a drink and could tell it was spicy and some people cannot take spices period, she did not want to say anything drank approx a third of it and put it aside, sorta mentioned something to the waitress, but nothing happened, we paid the bill the left and not soon after she started with gag reflex over and over and over to vomiting all over herself, now me on the other hand would have taken her back to the restaurant to show them but anyhow she asked me not to. She is a senior also, another gentleman complained to the waitress about his order that what he ordered was not what he received, Its a shame nowadays to go out and expect the service that one would receive at one time, then oh don't forget they also want minimum 15% tip for this, comon ???!! not very re-assuring!!”

“We started off Remembrance Day 2025 at our favourite brunch spot, IHOP in South Surrey. We reached around 10:30 a.m. and had to wait about 15 minutes for a table, which was totally understandable since it was a stat holiday. Once seated, we began with some tea and coffee, and the service was friendly and quick.

The Tres Leches Pancakes were absolutely mind-blowing. Soft, sweet, and so satisfying.

We also tried the Country Fried Steak, which came smothered in sauce with buttered broccoli and two fluffy buttermilk pancakes on the side.

The Crispy Chicken Sandwich and Classic Chicken Sandwich with avocado and bacon were both excellent, crispy, juicy, and full of flavour.

The Jalapeño Kick Steak Burger was another hit with its spicy mix of sautéed jalapeños, serrano peppers, onions, and crispy bacon.

Overall, it was the perfect way to start the day. Great food, warm service, and the cozy IHOP atmosphere we always enjoy.”

“Highly highly recommended not only is the gelato absolutely delicious but the staff is soo soo nice it’s over all a really cool experience seeing the gelato be made right in front of you and soo many delicious flavours too!!”

“Our first visit to Natures Fare Markets and it most certainly will not be our last! To start, we were assisted in-store by a wonderful and helpful employee, Ceceul, she was so kind! We drove up from Bellingham WA., to purchase the line of Aidens Gluten Free products (they are not available in the USA), loaves, baguettes and English Muffins, with Ceceul’s help we found them all. The store itself is very well merchandised with a great selection of products not found in most of your “customary” grocery stores, this made the adventure in-store that much more enjoyable! We joined the Natures Fare Frequent Buyers Program but unfortunately our first purchase which was over $100 did jot qualify, that was the only downside to our visit. Hopefully corporate would consider revisiting this program to ensure the first purchase as well as any subsequent purchases all apply to the ongoing tally. Don’t offer a program and then immediately cause a negative experience, that is simply counterproductive in my mind. At this rate we will be visiting this location every other week for the foreseeable future.”

The hot and sour soup is flavourful to my taste, but it is really an acquired taste so don’t expect the soup to be fitting to your taste because it is likely different from each restaurant.

There are special daily dishes written on a whiteboard place over the cashier make sure to check it out before you order.

it’s really a unique taste because they serve authentic Shanghai Cuisine. Shanghai Cuisine are not flavourful compared to other Chinese cuisine. It is in fact quite sweet. What I’m trying to say is that the dishes wont be as flavourful as Wok places or other restaurants.

Overall a decent restaurant they you should visit. Whilst the food is quite good, BUT don’t expect it to be boggy or clean like the newer Chinese restaurants.”

“One of the most luxurious sushi experiences I’ve had. If you’re looking for $7 California rolls, this is not the place for you. This was an experience from start to finish.
I started with the miso soup, which was solid, but the tako sunomono was the standout early on. Perfectly balanced acidity, generous portions of octopus, and incredibly fresh.
Next was the Miyazaki A5 Wagyu Aburi alongside the yellowtail and tuna belly nigiri. Absolutely incredible. The wagyu had an amazing char and melted in your mouth, while the fish was rich, fatty, and velvety smooth.
To finish, I asked the server to recommend a roll and she suggested the Takas Fire Roll. It did not disappoint.
Highly recommend for date nights, special occasions, or anyone looking for high-quality sushi and an elevated dining experience.”
