“Stopped by for a little dinner and was very impressed with their Butter Chicken. It was very good. They asked if I wanted mild, medium or hot. I chose medium and it had just the right amount of heat. The fresh Nann bread was also very good. Planning to go back another day to try the fish & chips. Definitely a great find.”

“Wow, very surprised for authentic Japanese food here in white rock!! Not touristy, it was all full at 530pm on a Friday but the owner greeted and apologized and explained that they only had 6 tables. We changed to take out instead and the food was amazing. The tempura was perfect, beef sashimi was delicious ! Will definitely become our go to place for sushi in white rock.”

“This is a great taste of Korean fried chicken. Every time I come to this specific chicko chicken location, I get blown away by the food. The chicken is crispy, juicy, soft, and delicious. However, there are some inconsistencies. Sometimes I find the chicken has a tad bit too much sauce and it masks the natural delectable taste of the perfectly cooked chicken. When I called online, they were comprehensive and told me how long it would take. Also, the chicken takes quite a while to cook because I believe they make it fresh to order. I’m not a great fan of the dead atmosphere. For me personally, it’s too quiet and a little awkward since you could probably hear a pin drop. I would highly recommend that the owners invest in some quality speakers and play a little bit of k-pop to show the Korean back-round of the establishment. Overall this is a great location and I would recommend to anyone that loves fried chicken or someone who is trying to get a taste of Korean culture.”

“Just had my 51rst birthday here with a few friends, we made a reservation as there was a group of 10 of us! All around experience was first class, i had the stewed fish and it was excellent. The food was worth the wait.Staff was great friendly and seemed very appreciative! 100% ill be back. Keep up the great work!!!”

“I don't ever drink bubble tea, but I was told by a friend to check this place out since apparently it's the best in White Rock/South Surrey. I went and it was fairly quiet so there wasn't a line. Because of this I asked the cashier what I should get and that's where I fell in love. Derek Chen is probably the best employee for a store I have ever been to. He was very patient with me and suggested a lot of different options and got to know me personally so he could make an accurate recommendation. This country needs more employees like derek. I ended up getting a passionfruit drink with boba and it was delicious. I'd come back again just for the service from derek and maybe explore what other options mr chu has to offer. 11/10”

“Islands is one of my favorite coffee places. The coffee is amazing.But so is the atmosphere and everyone that works there is lovely. They seem to appreciate their customers, even the ones that are there extended periods for various reasons.I love going there with friends or to work or to just sit and have coffee.Thank you for the amazing space.”
