“Went to The Bund, February 12. Went for dinner. Sat on patio. Heaters kept us warm. Had pineapple chicken, Shanghai fried noodles, and beef and greens. It was all amazing. The couple who own it and run it, are beautiful. My new favorite restaurant.“

My family has been ordering take-out and dining in at Penang for at least 10 years now and they've always been super accommodating and knowledgeable of my gluten intolerance, modifying dishes for me, etc. Thanks so much, guys, you know it means a lot to me! My go tos are curry prawns, Thai chicken or tofu, House Special Fried Rice, and Mixed Vegetables, but I'm excited that there's so much on the GF menu to choose from now.“

The hot and sour soup is flavourful to my taste, but it is really an acquired taste so don’t expect the soup to be fitting to your taste because it is likely different from each restaurant.

There are special daily dishes written on a whiteboard place over the cashier make sure to check it out before you order.

it’s really a unique taste because they serve authentic Shanghai Cuisine. Shanghai Cuisine are not flavourful compared to other Chinese cuisine. It is in fact quite sweet. What I’m trying to say is that the dishes wont be as flavourful as Wok places or other restaurants.

Overall a decent restaurant they you should visit. Whilst the food is quite good, BUT don’t expect it to be boggy or clean like the newer Chinese restaurants.“

“Ordered take out for supper. It was delicious hot and fresh and good portions. We ordered bbq pork fried rice, beef and baby corn in oyster sauce, dai Ching chicken, and ginger beef.
It is not like the really authentic Chinese dishes it is a good mix of western style and flavourful Chinese. If you want traditional there are other places this is a great restaurant for Canadian Chinese and they were really kind and efficient.“

“Stopped by here on a weeknight after work and grabbed a spot by the window, the staff walked me through their oolong options without rushing me at all. Got the honey milk tea with boba and a side of the scallion pancake, and both were still warm when they hit the table. It was quiet enough around 7pm to actually get some reading done, which is rare for a cafe this cozy. Already planning to bring a friend back this weekend to try their egg tarts.“

“We decided to drop by & order take out food . It only took 20 minutes wait , then went back to my car but my car won’t start on the first day of snow& was very cold. I called BCAA but it will take an hour & a half to arrive. Went back inside the restaurant & told the lady, she said ohh your food will be cold, offered us a table to eat( no dine in ) & gave us hot tea & bottled water. We are very thankful for their hospitality & kindness. It showed the true meaning of CARING.“

“Legit Korean-Chinese food.

My dad used to make Korean Chinese food for us when we were little and it was so similar to homemade Korean Chinese food.

I’ve been to at least 5 different places because I missed home, I came without big expectations but everything was great.

Food: authentic, quality food with great quantity. I don’t think you can get this much quality and quantity at the same time. 5/5

Jjajangmyeon + Jjamppong + tangsuyook

Tangsuyook - I was trying to choose between mini and family. I’d def choose the fam size. The portion was big so we had it to go. It had lots of meat and crispy outer layer. The sauce was really good too. It didnt have any oil smell either. 5/5

Jjajangmyeon - korean jjajangmyeon these days are quite sweet because they want to use less chunjang, but this place doesnt have lots of sugar taste instead it has the umami taste of chunjang. Which means they use more chunjang to have the original taste.
This was really good jjm I had in a while.

Jjampong - the veggies were fire charred you can slightly taste the fire in the broth. The broth is also very deep and rich. This was the best jjampong broth I had in awhile. LOTS OF SQUID too. For Jjampong, I’ve seen so many places have broccoli. (Broccoli = not legit) This was my favorite in tonights menu.

WE CLEARED EVERYTHING.

Cleanliness: table was not sticky nor slippery, all the utensils and even the sauce on the side was clean. Washroom was clean as well.

Plus points! THEY HAVE HUGE PARKING SPACE TOO!

The lady who served us at the table was so nice and kind.

“First time here. A bit surprised when we got there and told only take out. Never mind. We ordered shrimp fried rice, bbq pork chow mein, breaded chicken with lemon sauce and sweet and sour boneless pork. This is the best Chinese food we’ve had for a long time. Portions were large and as the girl who took our order said we would have dinner for the next day. She was right! We will definitely be back.

“I came here two weeks ago for the first time. They have really good marinated meat and "dai bang" - which translates to Big Bun. Tastes really good, really fresh! Drove back today just to buy it again, and had their signature sausages. 5/5 Stars!!“

“Love the sushi. The Toro and Salmon nigiri have the biggest cuts of fish I have seen other than the Tokyo Fish Market. The restaurant accidentally forgot to throw in one of my rolls on a takeout order, and they delivered it to my house in less than 10 mins… felt more like 5 mins.“

“I started coming here just recently after they had a change in management a couple of years ago.The previous owners provided very tasty food so I thought I would give this restaurant another go.I ordered the combo #4 meal with chicken chow mein and I was very satisfied with the quality and the quantity.The chop suey was very lightly sautéed so the vegetables were very crunchy which is what I like.The sweet and sour pork was reasonably moist and lean.No breaded blobs of fat.There was so much food on the plate that I could barely finish it and even 4 hours later I was still quite full.They refilled my water without me having to ask.I highly recommend Main Choice.😋“

“I went to Canada in 1997 and attended high school near by On Yuen. This was my first Hong Kong cusine experience in Canada. Fried rice is my favorite!!! I always order fried rice with their spicy chili paste. The chili past is sour and spicy, it taste so well on the fried rice~ But I look for places for the same chili paste, but never found one...
Now I am back to Taiwan, and I haven't had On Yuen for more than 10 years. I still crave for the delicious On Yuan dishes.“

It was the perfect addition to my large pizza. Then add the delivery.And it only came up to twenty seven dollars. I'm being on a budget after moving.

The eggplant was mouthwatering and enormous portion, chicken Pao wasn't my choice but very tasty and the gailan were perfectly cooked. Everything arrived well packed and piping hot. Generous portions, cute chopsticks and spoons. Can't wait for next time.“

“I just ordered using uber eats, so I am just commenting on the food. It was fantastic!

The mixed vegetables were cooked perfectly and the sweet and sour pork has that old school taste which is really hard to find. The honey garlic chicken tastes great, was a little mushy but the taste is great. Rice and chow mein also delish.

My only complaint is with how greasy the spring roll was, but not taking a star away because of this. I will order again for sure!“

“We went in late, just before closing actually. They were very gracious and let us order and eat there without rushing us. It's really hard to find a good Chinese curry chicken without coconut milk in it, they do not have it on the menu but you can ask it was delicious. We ordered small wonton soup which is really good, very flavorful. We will also ordered stir fry Chinese broccoli with garlic, pork eggrolls, I think we're going to like the veggie ones better, Shanghai chow mein, chongqing fried rice, and pepper salt chicken wings it was so yummy.
