Lived in Vancouver for 1 year trying to find chicken chow mein better than this place, can’t be done! Been coming here for years! The green beans are 10/10
The original Shanghai restaurant in white rock. Used to come here a lot.
The hot and sour soup is flavourful to my taste, but it is really an acquired taste so don’t expect the soup to be fitting to your taste because it is likely different from each restaurant.
There are special daily dishes written on a whiteboard place over the cashier make sure to check it out before you order.

The food was hot and tasty but the portions for take out was hardly half full in the containers. We spent $114 and could hardly feed 6 adults. The containers had a lot of room for more food. Unfortunately, we won't get take out again from this restaurant because of that. Too bad. 😞
