“We often order from New Chow's Kitchen. We've enjoyed everything we've tried.
Our orders usual include some of the following: War Won Ton soup, Sweet and Sour Pork, Chow Mein, Beef and Broccoli, and Egg Foo Yung.
If you plan ahead and place your order about 4-4:30 you will have pretty quick delivery. If you order after 5:00 then they are always super busy and you'll be waiting an hour or more.
The last time I was there to pick up, I noted that they do have a few tables if you want to eat in, the front area is newly redecorated.
I would recommend New Chow's.“

“The food was absolutely delicious, and everything tasted incredibly fresh and freshly prepared. The dry pot dish was especially crispy and flavorful, with a great texture and plenty of seasoning without being overwhelming. The sweet-and-sour pork (锅包肉) was excellent as well—the coating was just the right thickness, crispy on the outside without being too heavy, and the flavor tasted very authentic and traditional. The Big Plate Chicken (大盘鸡) was another highlight, with a generous amount of tender, meaty chicken and a rich, flavorful chicken taste. I also really enjoyed watching the hand-pulled noodles being freshly made on site, which added a nice authentic touch to the dining experience. On top of the great food, the service was warm, friendly, and attentive. Overall, it was a very satisfying meal with authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and a great atmosphere.“

“Friendly family run breakfast noodle shop located in the food court attached to T&T in Surrey.

The prices here are very decent and the front counter team is very friendly. They usually have a decent sized line of people - so be prepared to wait a little bit.

“We decided to drop by & order take out food . It only took 20 minutes wait , then went back to my car but my car won’t start on the first day of snow& was very cold. I called BCAA but it will take an hour & a half to arrive. Went back inside the restaurant & told the lady, she said ohh your food will be cold, offered us a table to eat( no dine in ) & gave us hot tea & bottled water. We are very thankful for their hospitality & kindness. It showed the true meaning of CARING.“

“Legit Korean-Chinese food.

My dad used to make Korean Chinese food for us when we were little and it was so similar to homemade Korean Chinese food.

I’ve been to at least 5 different places because I missed home, I came without big expectations but everything was great.

Food: authentic, quality food with great quantity. I don’t think you can get this much quality and quantity at the same time. 5/5

Jjajangmyeon + Jjamppong + tangsuyook

Tangsuyook - I was trying to choose between mini and family. I’d def choose the fam size. The portion was big so we had it to go. It had lots of meat and crispy outer layer. The sauce was really good too. It didnt have any oil smell either. 5/5

Jjajangmyeon - korean jjajangmyeon these days are quite sweet because they want to use less chunjang, but this place doesnt have lots of sugar taste instead it has the umami taste of chunjang. Which means they use more chunjang to have the original taste.
This was really good jjm I had in a while.

Jjampong - the veggies were fire charred you can slightly taste the fire in the broth. The broth is also very deep and rich. This was the best jjampong broth I had in awhile. LOTS OF SQUID too. For Jjampong, I’ve seen so many places have broccoli. (Broccoli = not legit) This was my favorite in tonights menu.

WE CLEARED EVERYTHING.

Cleanliness: table was not sticky nor slippery, all the utensils and even the sauce on the side was clean. Washroom was clean as well.

Plus points! THEY HAVE HUGE PARKING SPACE TOO!

The lady who served us at the table was so nice and kind.

The wait time was 30 minutes but he tasted the soup twice and grabbed the food with his bare hands twice. Would recommend for the meat pie but not for the sanitarian reason.“

I can proudly call myself a loyal regular! I’m always so busy eating that I forget to take photos. The service is friendly, and the food quality is consistently good. “This is the best place for Filipino siopao and pancit guisado. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm smiles of the friendly staff who truly make you feel at home.

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly their famous BBQ pork buns—soft, fluffy, and bursting with flavor. “I always have had a good experience in the 15 years I’ve been coming here. Heidi and all the staff are wonderful. I love supporting them and seeing everyone. The large portions for dinner are incredible for the price!!! I always have left overs. I love that they offer many vegetarian options too. They offer many Canadian-Chinese dishes and traditional Chinese dishes with some Canadian/American favourites (like hamburgers). I recommend the mushroom fried rice, onion pancakes (it’s like rosti), or the bean spout chow mein... especially with the chili oil they offer at each table. But the big plate of broccoli in garlic sauce is my favorite if you want something light but filling. They also offer it with Chinese broccoli. My friends and family love the daily specials and combo plates... if you don’t want a big plate of 1 big thing, the combos plates let you get 3 of the main dishes: a fried rice, a chow mein, sweet and sour pork or chicken, etc. For Family dinners they even offer a family combo “dinner for 2/4/6/etc” and have different daily specials. They also offer breakfast, dim sum, wonton soup, and other items. I also recommend their french fries. They SO good but they always come fresh hot and crispy. (Just really good simple fries.) They used to be known as the Austin Heights Diner (1989-2013) if you’ve been a longtime resident of coquitlam, I urge you visit them at their new location.“

“I went to Canada in 1997 and attended high school near by On Yuen. This was my first Hong Kong cusine experience in Canada. Fried rice is my favorite!!! I always order fried rice with their spicy chili paste. The chili past is sour and spicy, it taste so well on the fried rice~ But I look for places for the same chili paste, but never found one...
Now I am back to Taiwan, and I haven't had On Yuen for more than 10 years. I still crave for the delicious On Yuan dishes.“

“I started coming here just recently after they had a change in management a couple of years ago.The previous owners provided very tasty food so I thought I would give this restaurant another go.I ordered the combo #4 meal with chicken chow mein and I was very satisfied with the quality and the quantity.The chop suey was very lightly sautéed so the vegetables were very crunchy which is what I like.The sweet and sour pork was reasonably moist and lean.No breaded blobs of fat.There was so much food on the plate that I could barely finish it and even 4 hours later I was still quite full.They refilled my water without me having to ask.I highly recommend Main Choice.😋“

“Great, simple, neighborhood spot for classic, Chinese cantonese food. I recommend any of their fried dishes, especially their rice and noodle dishes. The chef does excellent wok hei! Portion sizes are great. They also do excellent meat and seafood dishes as well.

I also recommend their baked porkchop rice, and spicy squid.

The atmosphere is clean, relaxed, simple. Just a simple cafe to grab your fave Chinese food and relax.
