My family’s go here very time we’re in white rock. The fish and chips is amazing, and cooked perfectly. The owner and staff is also very accommodating and offered to just fry my gmas fish since deep fried hurts her stomach. There are tables inside and outside to eat, the food is delicious not greasy and cooked quickly! Everyone who has served us has been amazingly nice and welcoming. 10/10.
Fresh succulent fish wrapped in the thinnest, crispiest batter I’ve had on fish and chips! Most of the patrons are repeat customers who have been visiting for years. Overheard one saying they have been patronising the place since the 1950s!Sadly there was no clam chowder when I visited. Maybe I’ll have better luck next time.If you are in White Rock and want fish and chips don’t miss out on Montgomery’s.

the food was scrumptious! try the fried pickles, best i have ever had! i even had a glass of wine , sat out in courtyard and had my fish and chips, awesome food and great service and lovely to sit outside and enjoy fresh sea air and flowers in courtyard . will be back!
