“This is an awesome joint. The menu is expansive, food is amazing.. my daughter loved her mini donuts and we loved our chai and salted caramel Mocha. The people running the place are very friendly and loving. You can tell they care. Everything here is homemade including the bread. The joint is very clean. I recommend this little family run joint to everyone.
Very good vegetarian menu as well. The veggie burger was absolutely scrumptious.“

“Tried this cafe on my last surrey visit. Super friendly staff and plenty of options on the menu. I tried their vada pav and coffee , both were amazing. On top of that, the water view is beautiful. I went there to work and totally enjoyed the experience. If I lived in the area, this would be my go-to cafe. Definitely be returning!“

“I’ve been to grounds and greens a few times! Not disappointing each time. When I went to the Fort Langley location I had their gold digger drink, I was very impressed with all the flavour combinations! I tried their monkey business muffin and keep trying to go back for another! The “cream cheese” was so satisfying for my hunger for real cream cheese.“

“My husband and I decided to go to white rock yesterday out of the blue, we didn't have any set plans, after a few hours of swimming we started looking for snack options and found this place. We ordered the tikka chicken wrap and fries, the food was served fresh and hot, the quality of the ingredients are definitely worth stopping by. This is one of our go to places now when we're in white rock, we will be coming back here again and trying some of their other items like their poutines. We recommend anyone to stop here and try something out.“

“To this cafe for the first time. First impressions inside the cafe was unique, clean and comfortable to dine-in. The staff also very friendly and helpful. The cafe isn't spacious but full of customers. I have ordered their Ham sandwich and cappuccino, and it was so good. Bread, I chose the toasted wholewheat bread. I really like their coffee, have very bold taste and fresh. Price is considered on a higher side, but the quality of their food and drinks is worth it. Recommend to give them a try.

Will be my favorite place to go for breakfast next time with my family.“

“If I could give 10 stars I would!! Rented a golf cart for my birthday trip beginning of June, Nick helped us out and his customer service was EXCEPTIONAL. Not to mention we had a BLAST riding around on the golf cart while we were there! Next trip we take to Birch Bay we are definitely going back to rent another cart!! Highly recommend!!!“

“Jeff and his staff catered our wedding last month and we have nothing but great things to say! From the moment we contacted him for a tasting, to finalizing the details leading up to the wedding day, Jeff was great to communicate with and ensured we had everything we wanted. We opted for a charcuterie board for our cocktail hour and it was so well put together! The details were amazing. We also had a few celiac guests at the wedding and Jeff made sure to have all the food labelled for them. Our guests are still asking who our caterer was and had rave reviews about the options we selected.
We've also stopped at his cafe in Surrey that is open during the week and he always has really good lunch specials that change each week.
We definitely recommend him for your events.“

The Nutella did a lot of the heavy lifting flavor-wise. The taiyaki itself was barely crispy, mostly just the extra batter around the edges. It also lacked filling through most of it, so a lot of the bites were mainly just batter.
At least the batter itself wasn’t too bad, but overall it felt like it needed more filling and crispiness to really stand out.“

“I come here often and the service is always great! Rupinder is a rock star! Even in the midst of dealing with a rude customer that interrupted us, she maintained her professionalism and a positive attitude. Food is amazing, authentic and the chai has different sugar levels which is really helpful. The decor is wonderful, and the cafe is always tidy.“

“Coffee was great. Lots of seating in and outside. They need to hire more help. There was only one girl working. And the gal that came in before me ordered about 10 coffees. The gal making the coffee did very good job just kept on working until it was done. People coming and going it was so busy. Whoever the manager is they really should think of hiring two people per shift. Because you did lose a couple of customers today they walked out after waiting too long. I was there around 11 AM.“

“This is a very cute cafe! There are many options and something for everyone. I liked the cozy feel and the hospitality was great. I got the early bird sandwich which is fine but a bit over priced in my opinion. 13 dollars for a sandwich with egg and bacon is a bit much but still tasty. It wasn’t shockingly amazing but decent. The iced chai was good tasted fine but I didn’t enjoy the lavender London fog. It tasted like water with a hint of lavender, same goes for the lavender latte. The iced caramel macchiato on the other hand was great, sweet but yummy! Worth the visit and a good place for sweets, visit if in the area.“

They are not too sweet and prices are very reasonable, unlike some other places we visited. The way that places are charging for their food these days, it was much appreciated to feel like cravings is not trying to gouge their customers. We also had the breakfast wrap there, it was very good. This is definitely a place we will come back to often!“

I am not certain as to why this is not always consistent across the board at some of the other locations... Some say it is the machine or the Barista, etc. Even when this location updated their machines, they still produce an amazing long pour Americano - thank you, thank you!
