“Best cafe ever!“

“Drove over from Alberta last weekend and stopped in for a late morning coffee, and the lavender oat latte was honestly one of the best I've had on this trip. The staff behind the counter were super patient explaining the menu since it was our first time there, even with a small line forming. Seating was tight but we lucked into a window spot with nice natural light, which made the whole visit feel pretty relaxed. Parking nearby was a bit of a hunt, so I'd plan for that, but it didn't put a dent in how much we enjoyed the place.“

“I tried the Autumn and Winter bagel sandwiches, and both were absolutely delicious! The portions were generous, and everything was fresh and flavorful. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their bagel sandwiches!“

“We’re currently on holidays at Whistler (from Australia) and it was a delight to have a nice warm pie for lunch. Good Quality food.“

“I come here to work quite often. While it can get busy during peak hours, it's usually laid-back with a relaxed, business-casual atmosphere that's perfect for coffee dates, catching up with friends, or getting some work done.

I usually order a coffee or tea, and I appreciate that they have a good selection of both coffee and non-coffee drinks. Their iced tea is excellent, and the smoothies are also very good. They offer handmade sandwiches and desserts, both of which I recommend. My personal favorites are the tiramisu and the chicken brie sandwich.

The overall vibe is welcoming and comfortable, which is why I find myself coming back regularly to write, work, and meet with people. The staff are always friendly, the service is consistently great, and the bathroom is always clean.

Overall, I highly recommend this café for its great atmosphere, tasty food and drinks, and reliable service.

“I discovered Park Crest Diner on TikTok, and I’m so glad we decided to check it out! This beautiful diner has a charming late-’50s vibe, with lovely decor, a super-clean space, and a welcoming atmosphere. We were greeted promptly and warmly, and the service made us feel right at home.

The food was good, too! The hash browns weren’t greasy, and my Denver omelette was delicious. What I loved most was the place's relaxed, unpretentious feel. It’s comfortable, laid-back, and exactly the kind of diner where you can sit back and enjoy a good breakfast without any fuss.

We don’t live nearby, but Park Crest Diner is definitely worth the trip. We’ll be back! 😊“

The coffee offered at JJ is very high quality, and they are constantly sourcing and rotating their single origin coffees so there is always a new experience on the horizon.

“I really like a cafe that feels family owned, and I really appreciate the care you receive from a business like this. I was greeted so warmly, the woman running the shop made me a bubble waffle with whipped cream and a honey lemon tea, and I enjoyed both immensely. I sat at a little table and peacefully studied for an hour, and I enjoyed the ambiance. It's not a modern, Western interior. It's the same sort of vibe you would get at Happy Day Cafe. Great service and yummy food!

The coffee was mediocre. Not sure what's happened over the years but artigiano is not what it used to be in terms of coffee taste. Maybe they changed beans? Who knows.

Absolutely loved the cranberry oatmeal cookie though!

“If the cafe opened earlier, I would probably be here every day. I love the cheese scone and their lattes. Mogiana coffee is my favorite coffee. I’ve also had their salmon egg benedict, and that was filling and delicious. The ease of ordering and grabbing a table in the quaint seating area. Hidden little south Burnaby gem. If you have more time, the home shopping and garden centre pairs perfectly after breakfast or lunch.“

“I got the chicken panini and a caramel macchiato. It was incredible, the line is long but moves fast and there’s plenty to look at while you’re waiting. We got lucky with finding seating pretty quickly though! The panini was incredible and the coffee was great too“

“Great option for a quick office lunch. Good menu of tasty offerings, fresh ingredients, good portion sizes, reasonably priced. Never had a bad experience there nor have I heard from my colleagues. We are located in the building next door so very convenient and many of us eat here.“

All good cuz I was here for savoury. Ohhh the butternut squash soup hit that spot so good. Rich, squashy, also hint of sweetness from green apple. Smooth and wonderful. Served with skyflakes crackers (which I've been craving).

The pineapple coconut loaf looked divine. I will have to get it next time.

Sorry not sorry… this cafe is a hidden gem I wanted to gatekeep for so long but the dalgona coffee is life changing I thought I didn’t like coffee but I think i just didn’t have it done right. The matcha was just okay… def on the sweeter side but such a cute place“

“I had theory chocolate brownie and a peach smoothie made with yogurt. The brownie was deliciously decadent and the peach smoothie was also delicious and refreshing with the texture of a Tim Hortons ice cap. The servers are friendly and helpful and it was a quiet place to relax.“
