“Visited Cafe Ciel today for the 1st time. Lovely ambience and vibe here. Had a London Fog and liked that they were able to customize it with sugar free vanilla and non fat milk. Enjoyed their very tasty and large scone which they kindly heated up for me. Recommend this place to have a visit with friends, work, read or just relax. Has an outdoor patio which would be a great place to people watch.“

“The macarons here are absolutely beautiful and a work of art. They are colourful with nice garnishes matching the flavour theme of each one. They are visually flawless.The macarons do look better than they taste though as I find the ratio of filling to macaron wafer is off with too much buttercream like filling such that most of what you taste is only the oilier, buttery side of things. I’ve had macarons with different fillings likes pastes and jams which are less overpoweringly rich.“
“This is by far the best cafe/coffeehouse in Coquitlam, if not the lower mainland. Staff are friendly and accommodating, the food is amazing, fresh, and filling, and the coffee is also fantastic! And prices are also really reasonable! The atmosphere in this place is always friendly, and if you call for take out its ready in a timely manner, I work in the area at times and always come here for lunch if I'm there around that time 10/10 beanery, keep doing what you're doing ❤️“
“I love the concept of their buns. They have a lot of different flavors, and I tried the pistachio one. The bun is better than what I expected-- I expected a flavorless, chewy/tough bun but it had a great fried flavor and chew to it, made indulgent by the toppings of cream and pistachios.I also had a toasted salmon lox bagel which had a generous amount of cream cheese, I loved every bit of it.Very friendly and welcoming service!It was quite busy.I would definitely come back if I were in the area ?“

I'll come back again and adjust my review because you know I'm coming back.Plating could be better, and pricing seems high for what you receive. 17 for a very small amount of fruit for a single piece of French toast seems a little out of touch. Maybe the yogurt comes from Wagyu cattle.Chickpea Souflee was delicious, but the plating seemed lazy and the creamed wild mushrooms were served cold and didn't texturally make sense with the rest of the plate - would be better served hot and maybe on top of the Souflee which on its own is a little dry. The flavour was there however, especially when you mixed up the plate and took bites of everything at once.Coffee was excellent and competes with the best cafés in the Tri Cities.“

“They have a good deal on Uber Eats which is Bogo short rib on rice for $25.The short rib portion is good as it is 3 bones wide and there are 2 pieces. The side veggies lacked a bit. The short rib tasted fantastic but one of them was pretty raw. I had to microwave it for a bit.They also had a bogo salt and pepler wings too. It was not bad but a little soggy in the container. May benefit from venting holes.The chicken nugget was very tiny for the price. The chicken was dry. The only good part was the dipping sauce.Would definitely do this deal again if available.“

“First time coming here, and I would definitely come back! The Italian grilled cheese special was so good I didn't even think to take a picture before we ate it all. My iced mocha was fantastic - not overly sweet yet you could taste the chocolate; exactly what you want an iced mocha to be like. The guy working there had a great sense of humour and was very charismatic. It's a friendly and chill atmosphere. The churro donuts were incredibly fluffy and so good warmed up. We even got a second one for free, which was so kind. Wish we could give more than 5 stars!“
