“Meant for the true foodies who appreciate food made with true thought and precision.Found from google reviews and so happy I did. Easily found right across from the fire house. Amazing service, absolutely delicious food made with care and attention. Not your typical menu where you can count on it being the same each place. For the real deal foodies. Lovely relaxing atmosphere.“
“Great cuppa coffee, tasty snacks to go with. Meals are good and reasonably priced. Recommend. It is so nice to sit outside and look at the park and people watch so common spring.Parking: Parking can difficult close by, there is more free parking behind the community center and you can walk easily.“
“Me and the 6 year old usually go once a week here for the after school treat, and it's always been a treat. Most of the staff members really go out of their way to help and accommodate our orders (dairy allergy. Pro tip get the almond milk), and the vibe is just relaxing. It helps to be beside the library, so it's a great place to read a book with a drink, or talk about Pokemon and Minecraft with the kid. Feedback: if you can put a dirty dish bin around so I do not have to bug the staff to give dirty plates that would help everyone ?Dietary restrictions: Have dairy free options for most items“
“This is a nice, warm & friendly neighbourhood coffee hangout. Some nice baked goods as well as lighter meal options. They have comfortable seating, together with outside patio seating and tables during the summer months. Located right next door to Superstore and a resident of MeadowTown Shopping Centre in Pitt Meadows, adjacent to the Golden Ears bridge. It is a relaxing place to take a break.Enjoy!“
“Had the raspberry mocha which was delicious. Would be nice if can offer to warm up pastries prior to serving them... I know I would have enjoyed the cranberry cinnamon loaf a lot more had it been warmed up and not served coldParking: Located in a strip mall with ample parking spacesKid-friendliness: Seats available for infants“
“Great up and coming cafe! Healthy and tasty options with something for everyone! All of their coffee syrups are made in-house, and it really makes a difference in the flavour of their drinks! The vanilla really pops in their london fogs! The staff are lovely and attentive. They will happily help you or ask any questions you have. They also have merch, such as hoodies and crew neck sweaters for sale, that are great quality!Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu! Multiple options for them!“
“This is a gem of a place in Walnut Grove. More people need to know about it. Walking in you’re met with a genuine welcome and it’s very quaint and hospitable. The food was amazing and the selection is vast and we can’t wait to go back. I expect we will be regulars.“
“Love this little cafe place!Food is affordable and super delicious. The owners are super friendly and can accomadate any preferences.Usually come for lunch with my cousins and we always get some paninis, soup and the strawberry chocolate crepe!!! (The best).“
“I came here once on a whim on a break from my work nearby. I was blown away by the quality of their coffee and the coziness of their atmosphere. Ever since, this has been my go-to spot for a morning brew before work. Please, give them a try! They never disappoint.“
“Second time writing I review I believe. Everyone at this shop is so kind and have such amazing customer service.. and you can feel it’s sincere. Just brought my boys after a nice swim to enjoy some food and my eldest ( he’s picky) loved every bite. Great please, and the food is so freaking good! The mushroom soup was delicious just like everything else they have. Thank you guys & God bless you all.“
“Just had the most amazing London fog of my life. The milk was steamed to perfection. The tea brewed perfectly strong. Just added a single pump of vanilla to it and it was perfect! Will be back for sure!I didn’t try the food on this visit but the baked goods looked incredible ?Parking: Many spots but shared with a large business complex.Kid-friendliness: Delicious looking cookies your kids will beg you for!Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level establishment.“
“I should not be saying this...BUT they have The world's best almond croissant!! Shhhhh don't tell anyone but you must get there before noon to capture one of these rare breed of croissants. You can taste the real butter. I would have taken a picture but I ate it. One of the regulars said all of the food is great.“
“Kanaka Creek Coffee has been our go to weekend stop for coffee, muffins and bagels for the past 2 years. Not only is the coffee the best, It’s truly a home away from home. They have fabulous homemade gifts, signs and also a neighbourhood book share. You won’t be disappointed!“
“Breakfast Sandwich is my dream. The description says bacon, but it's more of a brisket. Fine by me!! Pro tip: Ask for maple syrup to drip on the sandwich because it's hugged by two soft, fluffy pancakes. It's not toasted as it says on the menu.... which I really would've loved to try!“
“Excellent service and a cozy atmosphere! They have drink options that satisfy multiple dietary restrictions, and host events such as board game days. I recommend the Blueberry Bliss smoothie, it was great! Will certainly be coming back.Dietary restrictions: They include non-dairy drinks and gluten-free desserts among other things.“
“Interesting ambiance, wonderful pastries, very unfortunate drinks. This is the first place I've been to in my life where the coffee taste in a cappuccino may be an "extra charge" if not buying the larger size. It just sounds like a poor excuse given by a very lazy (and unskilled) barista. Good customer service is not their stuff...Following owner's response:I was the managing director of a coffee chain for some years and never thought of a coffee not tasting well because of the size. It's just unacceptable.Poor customer service is saying that a better coffee taste depends on the coffee size which doesn't make sense at all. Remaking the drink is the least a business can do if the product is not up to customers' expectations. It's the business responsibility to make sure that its products are well designed and made right most of the times; not customers'.I get that people can make mistakes (we all do). But trying to convince a customer that you are doing an upgrade on a bad product even if it's "for free" is misleading. If you want me to pay "the upgrade" I will. Do you want me to not screw your score? Fine, I did so already - your croissants are the best in town by far and deserve to be complimented. But I believe you're missing the point. My wife threw her drink right after we left without saying a word, even though the barista nicely offered a new drink. She just didn't like it and preferred to avoid getting into an argument. I believe we all lost in that situation. Many customer remain silent and just don't come back. So, you can choose to listen to your customers or to keep arguing... Happy to provide more insights from my learnings and mistakes as a customer facing manager. Extra "business flavor" is free or charge!“
“Food is fresh and delicious, for the first try I had Monte crispy and same as eponymous character, it opened to me unexpected sides of taste. Tender cheese and ham opposite to crunchy bread ? slices. And here comes sugar powder, I couldn’t imagine the mall may come together. It’s unbelievable. Reasonable price, awesome people, I will come back! Thanks for ? lunch??“
“Visited for the first time last night. Service was great, ambience felt welcoming and the Oreo cake was 10/10 ! Free parking and convenient parking too. The man at the counter who helped me was very nice, the whole experience was great from start to “
“Absolutely exquisite dining experience! From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance was charming and welcoming. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and eager to assist. Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The chef's creativity truly shines through in every bite. Whether you're a culinary connoisseur or just looking for a memorable meal, this restaurant is an absolute must visit. 5 stars without a doubt!“
“Place worth visiting while you are in maple ridge… It’s my go to spot for food after hike in golden ears provincial park. They have vegetarian and vegan options aswell. Servers and very pleasant and friendly. Their food always taste fresh. Their vegetables chicken soup is to die for. Will be back again for sure.“
“We just stopped by for a quick breakfast and were a bit skeptical, but the owners are so lovely and welcoming, the food is delicious (I ended up eating most of my wife's spicy pork for breakfast), and the prices are very reasonable. Would definitely recommend coming here for breakfast or lunch!“
“I have lunch here almost everyday, everything on their menu, that I've tried is tasty and the portions are generous compared to cost. The service is exceptional and friendly. They also do catering if you have an event. I recommend this place to all my coworkers. And they all like it as well.“
“This is one of the nicer cafes around Guildford and one of the nicer looking Blenz locations . The cafe is relaxing and I often see people bring their laptops to work. The workers are very friendly and they always make the drinks perfectly. I love their dark hot chocolate and Mochas.“
“A great hidden local gem for the workers around the area. I discovered this place and I've been back several times. The food is very good and the prices are excellent even in these times of high food prices. The chef is very gruffy and seems to know his customers well. That bodes well for the repeat business that this place looks like it gets a lot of.They do a daily lunch special that is posted online on the website and when I see something exciting I will go. I've had their regular menu item, the Schnitzel burger as well, and that was delicious and really well priced.Great lunch spot if you're looking for a good meal at a very fair price.“
“I definitely would recommend this place. You can tell everything is from scratch . The only thing I would change is the workers except the older lady. Thinking it’s the mom. They are not friendly at all. A little snotty ….. ladies learn to smile and be friendly. That goes a long way.“
“I live in the neighborhood and I have been coming to this cafe for the past few months so it’s time for a review.First of all it’s family owned and operated by a lovely couple Louis & Swanni who do their best running this place. It’s understandable that small businesses tend to have prices higher than what you would normally pay at a chain cafe. That’s simply due to economy of scale. Always support small and local business. The place itself is nicely decorated with a pleasant layout and character. Different seating arrangements whether you’re a solo customer or with a group of friends.Their coffee and other drinks are great. I don’t eat much here but the food looks amazing when they bring it out lol.“
“The iced coffee caramel macchiato at $5 provides a taste reminiscent of popular offerings found at major coffee chains. Priced similarly to comparable options, it delivers a familiar and satisfying experience. The chocolate chip cupcake, priced at $4, boasts a classic flavor profile typical of its genre, and its substantial density ensures a filling indulgence for patrons. The cherry pie, priced at $5, presents a visually appealing treat that evokes imagery of quaint Disney-esque bakeries. Despite encountering difficulty with the paper around the crust, the pie's interior remained enjoyable. However, given a pre-existing feeling of fullness upon arrival, the cupcake failed to captivate as hoped.Aaron, characterized by his charming mustache twirl, exudes a hospitality reminiscent of cinematic depictions. His efficient service contributes to the establishment's welcoming ambiance.Despite its modest size, the café exudes a charming appeal. However, frequent phone interruptions towards closing hours detract slightly from the overall experience. For café and bakery ratings, this establishment, rated on a integer scale (with 0 representing Tim Hortons), earns a 2, reflecting its favorable impression.Although tempted to depart after settling the bill, the enjoyable service compelled a desire to linger and potentially encounter Aaron's hospitality once more.Aspirations for discovering the quintessential café experience, akin to the enchanting joy found in Disney settings, were almost fulfilled here. However, the quest for the perfect cupcake flavor remains elusive, particularly for someone not inherently drawn to cupcakes.A recommendation to adopt a retro ringtone reminiscent of the 1950s could enhance the café's ambiance and complement its nostalgic charm.Notably, the absence of plate clearance by staff was disappointing, as the anticipated Aaron's service added an element of anticipation to the dining experience.“
“The lady at the cash worked the orders alone so the service was a tad bit slow. We didn’t mind because the customer service was amazing, she was lovely and absolutely helpful with us. There were 7 of us who tried this cafe for the first time and we loved our experience. We would most likely return. I liked the mango smoothie, strawberry falooda and the chicken pastry. I’d recommend to include a pesto sandwich in the menu soon!“
“I wanted to try this restaurant/cafe for a while when I first saw their menu. When I got there, the place was pretty vacant and quiet, which made my visitation comfortably relaxed. I liked that there was a TV that showcased all the meals they make. I had their Grounding Brunch Bowl with Avocado as my 'meat' choice, and it was fantastic. The egg is soft poached, the garlic aioli is very flavourful and went great with all the contents in the bowl. The Dark Roast Coffee was nothing special though and it was served with raw brown sugar. Still, the food is great and I would very much like to return there.Vegetarian options: They serve plenty of vegetarian or even vegan choices such as the Prana Keto and Namaste Bowls, Organic Oatmeal and Vegan Chicken Strips.Parking: The parking is decent and it is in front of the establishmentKid-friendliness: There is a kids menu where they serve basic food.“
“I ordered the Original Bun and an Americano coffee combo. The bun was warm and soft, and the coffee was light and smooth. Both were excellent. The service was also great. When I offered to pay a tip, the server kindly declined and said no tips were needed. “
“Said yolo and ordered a shot of espresso with a few pumps of green apple for the hell of it and honestly it tasted pretty good so if they can make THAT taste good then you know everything else is amazing. the two woman working there are sweet, i like their energy :)) wish i lived around here i’d totally be a “
“Visited Cafe Ciel today for the 1st time. Lovely ambience and vibe here. Had a London Fog and liked that they were able to customize it with sugar free vanilla and non fat milk. Enjoyed their very tasty and large scone which they kindly heated up for me. Recommend this place to have a visit with friends, work, read or just relax. Has an outdoor patio which would be a great place to people watch.“
“I cannot not visit bookstores with in-house cafes and Wendel’s hits the mark with a super cute ambience, great collection of books and toys and good coffee to top it all.We visited on a busy Saturday but the service was not too bad. Things we tried -Iced latte — loved itBerry fruit freeze — loved it, the berry flavour was resounding and it’s a good non caffeine option worth tryingQuinoa Date Bar — we wanted a low/no sugar option and went with this but it didn’t please me as much. The texture was too gooey and dates paste gave me a jam like taste which wasn’t very pleasing“
“It is such a cute study cafe and super student friendly. Its owned by a wife and husband I believe and they were really nice. I got a creme brulee latte and though it was pretty much like a normal vanilla latte it was still delicious. The lavender lemonade was delicious too and I dont even like lemonade! The food was smaller than expected but the thai chicken sandwhich was delicious and it was served with popcorn which is new! The chicken wrap was okay not the best but overall a hidden gem for sure! Definitely check it out ?️??️“
“Loved this place!! The treats are delicious, and they have a patio too!!! O been there twice for a meeting and it is a beautiful place. On my last visit I had the pleasure to meet the owner, and she is lovely.Dietary restrictions: They have glutton free options“
“neighborhood cafe in Langley. the barista was very nice and courteous friendly and welcoming eventhough busy and we had to wait a bit to order. they good coffee nice vibe with clean open modern decor and not many hipsters. ample underground parking and very accessible for anyone with mobility issues. shall definitely come back as recommended by a local regular customer eating a very appealing sandwich to return for brunch as in his words the food superb and fresh great find which just opened within the year and have consistency with pastries and offerings. my only complaint is Blacksmith Bakery need more iced caffinated drinks caffinated on their menu as summer is just around the corner.“
“Got the chicken curry katsu on rice to go.I had mediocre expectations but was surprised how amazing it was. For around $14.00 I got a solid chicken katsu that was breaded well and seasoned nicely with a good amount of rice and a curry that was decently done.“
“All the food looks great and the bakery is delicious. It does get quite crowded on the weekends. It's unfortunate, if you're just buying bread, you still have to stand in line with the people who are ordering food and coffee. I saw three loaves of bread that I wanted one of them on the shelf. By the time I got up to order, all the bread was gone.“
“We love coming here for a bubble tea. The Bolan's are always super fresh and the drinks are made perfectly. The couple that run this place are so sweet. It's always a pleasure to go in there. If you're not sure what you like. ask for a recommendation she'll always give you a good one. This place is top notch. Yum yum“
“The staff was very friendly. I tasted the lavender latte so delicious and warm and the lotus croissant omg so delicious is soft, chewy and crunchy at the same time. So delicious. My husband had the special combo that panini with cheese and meat sooo good! Filling, very toasted! Love this place“
“Amazing ice cream place! The owner is very kind and this is a family owned business, as far as I know.Ice cream selection is great, and I also love the lattes/ coffees! A big plus the place is very cozy and even has a boon shelf with books for adults and kids. Stop by if you are in the area!“
“Had shrimp wonton soup, pork spring rolls (combo#1) and a decaf latte. VERY good food; fresh and flavourful! Also, perhaps surprisingly for a little cafe, it was also hands down the best latte I've had in my many trips to Maple Ridge.“
“This is by far the best cafe/coffeehouse in Coquitlam, if not the lower mainland. Staff are friendly and accommodating, the food is amazing, fresh, and filling, and the coffee is also fantastic! And prices are also really reasonable! The atmosphere in this place is always friendly, and if you call for take out its ready in a timely manner, I work in the area at times and always come here for lunch if I'm there around that time 10/10 beanery, keep doing what you're doing ❤️“
“Fresh Cup Roastery Café is a standout choice for coffee lovers. The café’s accessible location and ample parking make it a convenient stop. The selection of coffees and pastries caters to diverse tastes, ensuring there’s something for everyone. The seating is comfortable, and the environment is clean, enhancing the overall coffee-drinking experience. The staff is friendly and attentive, contributing to an enjoyable visit. Whether it’s for the daily drip coffee or the fresh pastries, Fresh Cup Roastery Café delivers a top-notch coffee shop experience.“
“I love the concept of their buns. They have a lot of different flavors, and I tried the pistachio one. The bun is better than what I expected-- I expected a flavorless, chewy/tough bun but it had a great fried flavor and chew to it, made indulgent by the toppings of cream and pistachios.I also had a toasted salmon lox bagel which had a generous amount of cream cheese, I loved every bit of it.Very friendly and welcoming service! It was quite busy.I would definitely come back if I were in the area ?“
“Latte and lemon-blueberry muffin were delicious (even though I'm not normally a blueberry muffin person -- my husband's choice). Pistachio latte was a beautiful work of art. My daughter loved the rainbow sprinkles on her cookie. We love cafes, but it can be hard to linger and enjoy with a baby and a toddler, so it was a wonderful surprise to find a kid-sized toy table that kept our little ones fascinated for a full hour, while we got to soak in the atmosphere of this beautiful cafe. We'll definitely visit again.“
