“This coffee shop is great small, cozy, and welcoming. You feel comfortable as soon as you walk in.

I ordered a black coffee, caramel frappé, a plain croissant, and an almond fudge bar.

The black coffee was good, the caramel frappé was delicious, and the croissant was really fresh and tasty. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the almond fudge bar it was a bit too sweet for me, so I couldn’t finish it.

The surrounding area is beautiful. Right outside, you’ll find Shoreline Park, which is perfect for a walk while enjoying your coffee, or you can sit on a bench and relax by the lake.

Overall, it’s a nice place, and I’ll definitely be back“

“Hi! Thank you to the staff this evening for great service. Not my favourite chai in the world, was watery but will try again. I would also consider removing up charge for milk alternatives, They are the same cost as regular milk to purchase. I also found the prices exorbitant and would return more often if they matched Starbucks pricing quality and lack of plant based milk upcharge. Would also consider adding an automatic door for persons with disabilities at at least one entrance. Also would appreciate at least ONE vegan option. Thanks!“

“I checked them out when they came to Chilliwack yesterday. I had to see if they were as good as my friends at the The Veganist were claiming. I had the veganator and I was blown away by how good it was. I felt it was better than any animal based burger I had in the past and also no gross nauseous feeling afterward like I used to get from fast food animal products. Win win.“

“I’ve been a semi-frequent customer at the Kokomo locations in Vancouver, but this was my first time at the Port Moody location. I stopped for a quick lunch and got the bean burrito. I’ve really enjoyed everything I’ve tried at Kokomo and this was no exception. The burrito was flavourful and very filling. More complex flavours than the usual Southwest-style bean burrito.
Good vibes. The staff person up front was very friendly and always had a smile. The store design is bright and fun, and the tables were kept clean.
Vegans, vegetarians, or those inclined toward plant-based eating will most appreciate Kokomo, but the food is interesting and objectively good enough the I’d recommend it to anyone looking for something healthy but inspired.“

“Freshslice Pizza in Newport is a solid spot for a quick, affordable bite. The slices are hot, cheesy, and come out fast, with a good crunch on the crust. Nothing too fancy, but perfect for a casual lunch or late snack. Clean place, friendly staff, and consistent quality every visit.“

“We have picked up cakes to go and cookies regularly from Sweet Avenue in the past but this was our first time ordering a custom cake. The communication was great and the staff was just unbelievably sweet at pick up. The little mermaid tail on the cake fell off during pick up so they fixed it, and made us two back up ones on the spot just in case - how thoughtful. We were super happy with everything and will definitely be repeat customers.“

“We’ve been coming to Lazeez Pizza & Kebab House for a long time, since they only had pizza and wraps. This halal branch is excellent! Their menu has expanded and everything tastes delicious, especially the pizzas, kebabs, and baklava. The service is always great, prices are reasonable, and the owner Ahmad is very kind and welcoming. Highly recommended! 😊“

“We stopped by here on a little day trip to Fort Langley and had a great experience. My partner ordered the vegan mac and cheese and said it was really good. I had a strawberry matcha, which was delicious, the syrup had fresh strawberries in it and it tasted super fresh.

Their coffee also looked amazing, and I noticed a really tempting dessert section. Unfortunately I was being good and sticking to my diet, so I didn’t try any desserts this time, but next time I’m in town I’ll definitely be coming back to try them.

The service was also 10/10. The girl working at the front was so happy and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Love finding little spots like this when exploring Fort Langley!“

“My favourite bakery in Maple Ridge!!! Such an amazing selection of goodies. Their display is so fun for kids… young and old! Everything they make is delicious. Also, they are very accommodating and make amazing cakes to order! Gluten-free as well. On top of all that- they are generous to the community they serve. The food is excellent and well prepared, I come with my family at least once a week and it never disappoints.

I usually do not rave about hamburgers, but tonight I had probably one of the best burgers I have had in years. The combo and quality of ingredients was next level.
So if you are looking fro an amazing burger go check their burger out.

“Overall a great place, however they allow smoking on the patio right next to a door and sitting at the bar you get the horrible stench of tobacco every time the door to the patio opens. Really should not allow smoking on the premises.“

“This is a fantastic restaurant. I enjoyed everything about this restaurant. The service is optimistic and professional. I like the design of the interior, despite the small venue space. I ate there for lunch and had the Lennon's French Toast. It was the best French toast I have ever had at any establishment. All of the ingredients pay compliments to each other and taste great altogether. The coffee was not just great, it was Grade-A quality. I wish I got her name, but I’m pretty sure it was Micaela, because I heard a server calling her that. Our server, I believe was Jamie, was exemplary at quickly giving us our food while multitasking all of his other tables. The only thing I could complain about was the prices of the food, but the food was so. Dang. Good. I think overall the staff is what makes the experience and this time; I think the staff made the experience not only great but perfect. “Ordered the Goddess Bowl with grilled chicken. Luckily I had the coupon book that we purchased through our kids’ elementary school. It came out to $12 (saved $4 with the 25% off coupon).

I would say this is way over priced for what you get. Tasty though but the chicken is definitely not grilled… You get half an avocado that is just thrown in there with zero thought or aesthetic intention.

Lady who rung me up had zero customer service. Cold, no smile, no enthusiasm. Maybe she’s having a bad day.
If she’s the manager, she certainly doesn’t live by example. Just didn’t leave a good feeling at all.“
