“Lovely! We treated ourselves to a night with no kids for our 18th anniversary and enjoyed everything about this hotel. We had great communication with the staff. Cleanliness was outstanding, the room was very quiet, the bed was comfortable, the decor very pretty, and we were excited to be able to see the water from our window. But the best part was the location- you step outside the elevator and you’re right in the fun of the shipyards area. We had a special dinner, then took the seabus to the other side and biked around Stanley Park, then returned and went out again to get dessert. None of the busyle can be heard from the room but the fun was very handy. We would love to return!“

“Today I was so happy to discover this little Korean-style café inNorth Vancouver . The food was absolutely delicious, and the coffee was even organic! Usually when I come to the NV area, I only visit a few of the well-known cafés, but this time I searched on Google and found this five-star hidden gem — and it truly lived up to the rating.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, always with a smile. The breakfast and brunch menu was really interesting — even the avocado toast came in several creative variations, and the prices were very reasonable. We ordered the Avocado Egg Sourdough Toast and the Bibimbap Bowl for 10.99, with extra mushrooms. Everything was freshly prepared by the chef, so it arrived warm.
Their special sauce was unique — a little spicy, a little tangy — drizzled over the avocado toast, paired with fresh salad greens that really boosted the appetite. The beef was also seasoned perfectly, very flavorful, and the coffee was rich and aromatic.
Definitely a place I highly recommend!“

“The staff is so disrespectful! We arrived at this place around 12:35pm and the hostess said they would have a 35 min wait list. We said ok, got our names in the wait list and left. After 35 min I came back for a time check and the hostess said more 30 min wait. We have a toddler and 1 hour wait would be too much for the toddler. I asked to talk to the manager but the hostess said there was no manager on duty that day. I insisted since that wouldn't make any sense. After begging to talk to the person in charge, finally someone showed up. The manager was even more disrespectful than the hostess - she kept this ironic smile all the time and said that the hostess removed our names from the list by mistake but nothing could be done, not even offer us the top of the wait list and we had to go to the bottom of the list again. She also said they were doing the best they could - I left without saying a word since keep discussing was just pointless - when I walk out the door I just heard "and please don't come back". Just don't come here.“

We were starving and did not have a lot of time as we had to catch ferry. the staff person was very polite and understanding about it and our dinner was served super quick. “Such a lovely cozy place with warm and friendly staff. Location was very convenient in the Park and Telford shopping square with plenty free parking. Inside, decorated warm and natural with chairs, high chairs, sofa chairs. There was a semi-private room and an outside patio face to Park and Telford garden. Our latte was served in a nicely art and in a mug. Matcha cookie was well balanced in suger and nuts. There was some cold sandwiches, juices and water as well as donuts as well.“

If you’re not spending your Tuesday evenings at Tequila Cantina, you’re doing Taco Tuesday wrong.

We stopped in tonight and were absolutely blown away. From the moment we walked through the door, every single staff member made us feel genuinely welcome. The atmosphere was fun, energetic, and exactly what you hope for when you’re heading out for tacos and margaritas after a long day.

Now let’s talk about the value… because it’s honestly ridiculous.

Taco Tuesday specials at these prices should be illegal. We enjoyed multiple tacos, a Coke Zero, and one of the best skinny margaritas I’ve had in a long time, and somehow the bill still felt like it belonged in 2019. The food-to-dollar ratio here is absolutely off the charts.

The tacos were fresh, flavour-packed, and loaded with authentic taste. The Birria was fantastic, the Pollo Con Mole was outstanding, and every bite had us planning what we’d order on our next visit before we’d even finished the first round.

What really separates this place, however, is the people. Great food gets customers in the door. Warm, friendly, attentive staff are what make people come back. Every interaction felt sincere, and the team created the kind of experience that turns first-time visitors into regulars.

North Vancouver has no shortage of restaurants, but finding a place that delivers incredible food, amazing value, delicious drinks, and genuinely welcoming service all at the same time is rare.

Tequila Cantina has officially earned a permanent spot in our rotation and will absolutely be our new Taco Tuesday headquarters.

The flavor was rich, the texture was nice and chewy, and most of all, the staff were incredibly friendly, which made the whole visit even more satisfying. It’s conveniently located right in front of the SeaBus terminal, so the accessibility is a big plus.

“This is my all-time favorite restaurant. I was there with my friend Reg for lunch last Tuesday, June 3, 2025. I had heard that they were bringing back burgers and omelets and other favorite lunchtime fares on their new lunch menus. Me and my friend were treated to the best and freshest burger that I have ever eaten in my life. A delicious quarter pound beef patty prepared ground on the spot and prepared fresh for us. I thought I had died and gone to burger heaven. The burger was cooked perfectly with mozzarella cheese, onions, mushrooms, bacon, and lettuce and tomato on a fresh made in restaurant delicious bun. We were the first to be treated to these fantastic burgers and am planning to go back over the weekend and chow down on more burger comfort food. It was out of this world delicious. I had ordered a side of french fries before my meal so when my deluxe burger arrived I chose to have rice on the side. Great choice by me again! ! I just want to thank my friends at Andreas restaurant (North Vancouver) for bringing back burgers to their establishment. It was a bon bon day to have such a delicious lunch at my favorite food place and it was wallet-friendly as well as this big burger meal only cost me CA $15.50. “My friend and I were headed home from Whistler, and were tired of driving. It was dark, and we needed to find a great bowl of Pho. What we found at Pho Spot was even better than imagined. I had a vegan pho with added tofu, and he had traditional chicken, Pho Ga. Both were delicious and plentiful; veggies a plenty, and the strips of chicken were tender and fresh. The staff were very very friendly and gracious. We will remember to come here after every hike; in any season, and I will remember to bring my friends!“
