“The food is always excellent and you never have a long wait! The seating is kind of cafeteria style but you don't really go there for atmosphere...most people do clean up after themselves. This particular time, I was taking food to go.“

“Best vegetarian ramen we've had. We've tried many veggie ramens all over BC (and even Japan) and Ramen Bella's Tofu Green is the best. The broth is flavorful, the tofu is grilled to give it a nice charred flavor, the shitake mushrooms have been marinated for extra flavor, and there is a good amount and variety of vegetables. And the noodles have a good texture (not over cooked). Their Tofu Green isn't an after-thought just to have a vegan option. They put in the effort to make it as good as their other dishes.“

“I checked them out when they came to Chilliwack yesterday. I had to see if they were as good as my friends at the The Veganist were claiming. I had the veganator and I was blown away by how good it was. I felt it was better than any animal based burger I had in the past and also no gross nauseous feeling afterward like I used to get from fast food animal products. Win win.“

“We’ve been coming to Lazeez Pizza & Kebab House for a long time, since they only had pizza and wraps. This halal branch is excellent! Their menu has expanded and everything tastes delicious, especially the pizzas, kebabs, and baklava. “I decided to check this place out after learning it was the only pizzeria in Canada with three Spicchi. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

The pizza itself was good, but I can’t say I was particularly impressed. We were the first table seated and the first to order, yet the pizza arrived lukewarm. Fresh pizza should arrive hot straight from the oven, so that was disappointing. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but not one I would drive out of my way for again.“

“Tucked away in a strip plaza you will find wonderful noodle dishes accompanied by beef, beef tendon and other fresh ingredients. The somewhat small menu is purposely so, to allow diners to enjoy what this restaurant does best wholesome food without the use of chemical soup bases, msg and fake additives. Every bowl of soup is crafted the ancient, traditional way.

I ordered the beef and tendon noodle soup. It came to the table nice and piping hot, overflowing with juicy pieces of beef and tendon with heapfuls of noodles. Also ordered was the Noodle and minced pork sauce and noodle with braised beef. Every dish was flavoured well, without being overly salted and minimal oil. The portions were also great value for the size. Our destination for beef noodle soup has been established for years to come with this establishment.

Thank you for such lovely service, being tended to the perfect amount of times. The atmosphere lacks a television and relaxing musical melodies surrounded the air. The dining room is well spaced out between tables and the surprise of real African violets and other plants growing along the side make this place feel both homely and inviting.“

“This coffee shop is great small, cozy, and welcoming. You feel comfortable as soon as you walk in.

I ordered a black coffee, caramel frappé, a plain croissant, and an almond fudge bar.

The black coffee was good, the caramel frappé was delicious, and the croissant was really fresh and tasty. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the almond fudge bar it was a bit too sweet for me, so I couldn’t finish it.

The surrounding area is beautiful. Right outside, you’ll find Shoreline Park, which is perfect for a walk while enjoying your coffee, or you can sit on a bench and relax by the lake.

“This is honestly the best ramen place in Surrey because it tasted like it really came from a home kitchen. Most ramen places I’ve been to in Surrey feels like they rushed their broth and they don’t know how to bring the umami out but at Umami Ramen, they know what they’re doing. The flavour is so depth that you can taste all the layers of the ingredients they used. The noodles were close to perfect too. It had nice bounce and chewiness to it so it was really fun to eat.

Ive been here twice already. The first time I came here I just came in cause I was hungry and I didn’t really know where to eat since the foods around Surrey central were so unhealthy. I was pretty surprised how clean it was inside despite the location. I’ve ordered their chicken katsu ramen twice now and the flavours have been pretty consistent. It’s also worth it for the price.

This restaurant is super underrated. It was actually pretty busy when I came in today with lots of to go orders and there were at least 6 tables being served.

My favourite part about this restaurant tho is their staff. I don’t know their names but they were super friendly and I felt cared for while being inside which made my experience here a 10/10. I’m gonna be recommending this spot to a lot of people since most are afraid to try it because of the location. Go to this restaurant if you want the best quality ramen in Surrey if you don’t want to go to downtown.“
