The food was SO good — fresh, flavourful, and everything we ordered was delicious. But what really stood out was the service.

We were there celebrating my daughter’s birthday and asked if they could put her cake in the fridge for us. When it was time for cake, they went completely above and beyond. They turned the lights off, played a birthday song, got the whole restaurant singing and made such a big deal out of her. She was absolutely beaming. It completely made her night.

They also did so many little things throughout dinner that made eating out with kids feel easy, which as a mom I appreciate more than I can explain.

Amazing food, incredible service, and a team that genuinely seems to care about the experience people have in their restaurant. We will absolutely be back. ❤“

“I was here for lunch. The persian food and location is awesome. Its right on Stevestons village with beautiful ocean view.
The ambience and service is awesome. People are friendly and helped me to understand the authentic persian food.

We had appies cauliflower dish and eggplant dish with soft persian bread. The eggplant spread with bread is the killer. Must try. Loved it.

The main course lamb shark, prawn biryani and other chicken dish are good. Liked the saffron flavoured rice and well cooked lamb shank. The biryani is also good however it is different from
How Biryani cooked in India food. At the end we had Baclava dessert with persian Chai. I never had such authentic flavourful baclava. It has almost sprinkled on top and inside it is having cardamom flavour. Woow it was mouthful of flavour. Chai is also very tasty.
I would say, eggplant spread with bread as well Baclava dessert is must try at this place.“

“Yin Ji Chang Fen in Richmond is a decent spot for a casual Cantonese breakfast or lunch. We got the Lai Wan Style assorted congee, which was alright but nothing particularly amazing.

The rice rolls were the highlight for me. We ordered two varieties with shrimp, and pork & chives, and both were quite good. The texture of the rice rolls was smooth.

Our total came to $33 for 2 people and 3 items, which I think is a pretty reasonable price. Overall, a decent option if you’re craving Cantonese-style rice rolls and congee, but the rice rolls are what I’d come back for.“

“My son and I visited Chopped Leaf Ironwood yesterday. We ordered two sandwiches: a Chicken Club and a Chipotle Chicken sandwich. Unfortunately, both sandwiches were very disappointing. The Chicken Club was missing the bacon, and the chicken in both sandwiches was cold. Overall, the quality of the food was not what we expected. When I returned to the store and showed the issue to the employee who served us, Komal, she immediately started arguing with me and insisted that the sandwiches had been made correctly. Instead of listening to my concerns, she kept referring to store policies and was quite rude in the way she spoke to both me and my son. She appeared annoyed, made facial expressions, and ignored me while I was speaking. In the middle of our conversation, she walked away and called another employee over. I asked the second employee for her name, and she told me her name was Preet. Before Preet came over to speak with us, I noticed Komal talking to her privately in the corner. Despite being on her break at the time, Preet took the time to come over and listen carefully to our concerns. She apologised sincerely to both me and my son and handled the situation professionally and respectfully. My son explained the issue to her again, and she listened patiently. She provided a solution, explained the refund policy clearly and politely, and offered us salads instead of the sandwiches. Her kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help completely changed the experience for us.
I understand that mistakes can happen, but the way Komal handled the situation was unacceptable and did not reflect good customer service. On the other hand, Preet demonstrated excellent customer service and deserves recognition for the way she handled the situation, especially considering she interrupted her break to assist us.
I am very disappointed with the service we received from Komal, but I would like to sincerely thank Preet for her outstanding customer service, professionalism, and respectful attitude toward both me and my son.“

“We had a large order that initially we were going to do online but is didn’t register rewards.
So we called and spoke with Richard who told us to come in and he’d take care of us. He then landed up calling us a few minutes later and asked us for our order and he’d have it ready by the time we got to the store.
Everything was labeled with names and packed neatly so nothing was going to fall out or leak.
We appreciated the great service that he provided and will continue to frequent this location.“

The dining area was very busy and the level of noise was probably higher than normal, but we were still able to hold a conversation. The view of the tarmac was cool. Some of the chairs in the room need re-upholstering, but were still supportive. Complimentary parking can be arranged through the restaurant concierge, which is nice. Food is overall very good, I like the sushi, sashimi, BC rolls, salad, chicken teriyaki, futomaki, tempura, and ice cream.
