Globe@YVR Reviews
This is a 4.8/5 stars for us. We've eaten here many times, both breakfast and dinner, and it's always been delicious. Yes, it's a bit pricey, as it caters to a fairly affluent traveller, but we love it. The food is elevated and perfectly cooked, and the service is always too notch.
I was waiting to be seated and Richard warmly stopped what he was doing to help me to a table. He was so kind and welcoming, and made me feel right at home. I had a delicious coffee with a view of the tarmac, thank you Richard for being so kind.

The Globe@YVR offers a top-notch dining experience with an elegant atmosphere and stunning mountain views. The open kitchen allows diners to observe the chefs at work, while the servers provide thoughtful suggestions. Recent reviews highlight the delightful afternoon tea, featuring a breathtaking view of the North Shore mountains and planes taking off through glass windows, creating a unique experience. The three-tier display plate offers a variety of fresh and delicious treats, including blueberry and cranberry scones with cream and berry compote, alongside savory options like Quiche with Salmon Caviar and crispy Prosciutto. For sweets, favorites include a Tart with light chestnut and Panna cotta with raspberries and Bailey-infused dark chocolate, complemented by spice tea.
The service is generally praised, although some guests note that it can be slow due to staffing issues. The restaurant is known for its fantastic breakfast buffet, although it may be considered expensive. While some guests mention that it can be noisy, the overall experience is generally regarded as exceptional and highly recommended for relaxing before a flight or celebrating a special occasion. The atmosphere is lovely, especially with live guitar music, and the location is great for watching planes land. Despite some inconsistencies in service and menu pricing, Globe@YVR remains a destination known for its overall excellence and memorable dining moments, especially for high teas and holiday brunches.
