Plenty of free parking outside. Gets crazy busy on the weekends. But if it’s decent Chinese comfort food you’re looking for it’s here. Nothing fancy. No need to dress up. All about comfort flavours!

“The SkyTeam Lounge at YVR Terminal D isn’t as new or polished as the Plaza Premium Lounge, but I really enjoyed it. The food selection isn’t enormous, though the hot bar is genuinely good. Everything was fresh and satisfying.

The lounge is older, but clean and well maintained, and the atmosphere is relaxed with great vibes. Best of all, every staff member I encountered was exceptionally friendly and welcoming.

Generally, Uncle's pizza has better ingredients than others, e.g. Freshslice which is just about on every other block. The one on Broadway has consistently better ingredients. Other locations vary in ingredients. The Uncle's at Richmond skytrain has no nearby parking on a strip mall, but it had the best Qi according to a digital fengshui e-compass. This location is popular with Asian clientele despite the Asian eateries next door. The staff in Richmond is very hospitable and the layout is Feng Shui positive. Good job!”

“Great value proposition in Taiwanese fried chicken. The crunch was good and it was generously seasoned. The serving size (I got a regular) is absolutely a monster for one person. I recommend sharing with at least two or more people. Despite the scale of fried chicken, I didn’t feel greasy after finishing it.

Cash only. There is an ATM at the lottery convenience at the other end of the mall. You are given a pager that vibrates and rings once your food is ready. Seating can be difficult at peak times since there’s other food spots in the cafeteria.”

Situated by the mighty Fraser River, a hidden spot that most only hear about through word of mouth. Something never change, or at least for this moment in time in Steveston.”

We booked for 5:30pm and left at 8pm and not by choice. We took our 7 year old. His food came within about 20-30 minutes. While we got our miso, edamame and salad one at a time, It took over an hour to get our BBQ meat, and longer to get our bowls of rice. 2 1/2 hours to get our bill (with me stopping someone to ask for the bill). Our son was super excited to cook meat but was getting upset with all the waiting. Quite honestly, the 2 adults with him were too. But I would give it a try again because the food was good”

Fries are fairly thick cut, perfect for dipping in the slightly peppery gravy. I've only tried one of the salads once and it was better than the 2 national brands you can get in the grocery store. This is pretty much a walk-up/take out restaurant (especially since covid--no eat-in anymore). I've only seen the same two people working there all these years. Brother/sister or husband/wife, I assume? They are hard workers putting in long hours 7 days a week. No money has been spent on the "dining room" or menu boards. LOL. They take cash and debit (credit??). Their debit machine has no tap function and is dial up so you need your PIN and a bit of patience. That is also way phone calls don't go through. I have never tried to pre-order by phone. Usually only takes about 10 min to get your order anyway. Can't recommend them enough. When family/friends come into town, I try to make sure we get LA Chicken for them while they are here.”

“This is an amazing place to spend a weekend night! The food is delicious, with such a great variety of choices, but what really makes this place special is the people.

Zheyu, who took care of our table, was absolutely amazing! We accidentally dropped a plate, and he immediately helped us clean everything up. He also brought us the seasonings we needed and made sure all of our food came out at the right time. His attention to detail and genuine care made our experience even more enjoyable.

We had such a wonderful night, and honestly, the right person can really light up a place — and Zheyu definitely did that for us. We’re truly grateful for his amazing service!

“The chicken and service were excellent! We came back because the chicken is tasty, our favorite is the 10 wings with Lemon & Herb w/ 2nd fav being the boneless with the hot option. The servers all worked together to help customers feel taken care of. Zoha was our main server and she was great. I highly recommend coming here for a heathy and tasty option that won’t break the bank.”

“The SkyTeam Lounge at YVR Terminal D isn’t as new or polished as the Plaza Premium Lounge, but I really enjoyed it. The food selection isn’t enormous, though the hot bar is genuinely good. Everything was fresh and satisfying.

The lounge is older, but clean and well maintained, and the atmosphere is relaxed with great vibes. Best of all, every staff member I encountered was exceptionally friendly and welcoming.

“This is my favourite and only beef noodle spot in richmond. My partner and I tried a new different beef noodle restaurant and actually came straight here right after because this was the only place that could satisfy our craving.

The broth has depth, the spice is balanced, and served with an abundant amount of GOOD beef. There is a small and large size and my partner and i share the large with wide noodles. There is also so much seating so youre never waiting for a table. If people ask me where to get beef noodles I recommend this spot, otherwise I gatekeep it😅”

“Really enjoyed Chahalo—one of the better bubble tea spots around No. 3 Road. I tried the jasmine green milk tea and was impressed by how pronounced the tea flavour was; fragrant, creamy and not watered down like some places. I’d recommend going around 50% sugar to let the tea come through. The shop has a clean, modern feel and the service was friendly. A little on the pricier side, but the quality is there. Definitely a spot I’d return to.”

“The cafe is really nice. The ambience is welcoming and chill. Staff were very friendly, polite, and accommodating, very helpful with helping decide on which to order based on preferences while also giving some information on where or what their products are made with (ordered the raw coconut latte and the staff had explained where they got the milk and even the type of coffee beans they use). Nice place to just sit and enjoy. The mochi donuts are chewy and light as expected, not too sweet.”
