This food is insanely delicious! Just the thought of their duck burger and my mouth starts watering. Everything on the menu is amazing- even something simple like onion rings! They should warn you before your first visit because it won’t be your last - highly addictive deliciousness!
Went for HH. $1.5 oysters 😋 and matcha beer which is $7 only
Nice twist for the beer lol pasta is $10 on Thursdays. They only have 1 flavor of pasta every time (I think).
Its a little restaurant in Steveston. Cozy and service is good. Food is affordable and has good quality!

The Chef's Playground Eatery is a popular spot in Richmond, known for its consistently great food and reasonable prices. This cozy restaurant is located inside Steveston village and offers a variety of dishes, including eggs Benny, lavender lemonade, and burgers, with burger patties made in house. The truffle burger is especially praised as to die for, and the onion rings are considered next level. The service is attentive and friendly, with staff like Jaiden providing excellent service and making guests feel welcome. The interior is very clean, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The restaurant also serves a rib eye steak, teriyaki samurai burger, and has a very tidy bathroom. Many visitors have enjoyed the mushroom soup, calling it the best ever, and praise the house-made ketchup with crispy potatoes and sweet salad. The food quality and value for money make it a great place to dine, whether for brunch or dinner. Guests often comment on the pride that the Chef takes in his work, which shows in every dish. However, some mention that more ventilation could improve the experience, as the smell of oil can linger. Overall, The Chef's Playground Eatery remains a favorite for delicious meals and friendly service.
