Steamed beef and scallop rice rolls were good. Spicy wontons was a bit bland; perhaps some black vinegar and chili plaste would have improved things. Rice noodle stir fry was very good. Good wok heat. Will come back and try the clay pot rice.“

“Update 2025. I was there just after opening at 9AM, line up already.

During the past few years, there’s been some changes, not exactly sure of the scope of change but probably involves staff and mode of operation.

I find it impossible to phone in order ahead of time, so one must go through the line-up process, the wait can become very long.

I also find the quality of cooking a little different, still good but somehow not as delicious as before, most likely cooks/cooking method changed.

I ordered a breakfast with vermicelli, my vermicelli was ready about 5 minutes before my eggs were ready, so they were close to being cold when the eggs were done. The eggs were overcooked, I did not ask for it that way.

Prices have gone up so deals are not so great but still a bargain, breakfast went up about 50-60%.

Still a very convenient and comfortable dining experience. But watch out for the long lineups. Enjoy.
