“Exceptional. Roti canai were the ?. Eggplants were also the ?. Noodles in paradise (?) were good too, just not heavenly, but overall, a top recommendation. I'd eat there all the time if it were closer.
Great service and lovely local.“

“This place makes me so happy! The couple that own this cozy spot care so much about their food and customers. When I was coming here more regularly they always remembered my order (broccoli and mushrooms with tofu!) gave me lots of that yummy spicy sauce. :) their portion sizes are amazing and very affordable— a total life saver while I was a busy student! Thank you super chef grill ❤️“

“Not a good experience! We ordered 2 main courses 1 duck 1 chicken The duck dish was half cooked, the toppings around were not tasty at all. The chicken dish came uncooked! We returned the dishes to the waitress immediately, we were shocked that this is the food served. When the bill arrived, The restaurant asked to charge us for both dishes full price, We refused! After a short conversation they said they would give us a 10 percent discount, We also refused! We returned an entire dish to the kitchen and the second dish we barely touched ... in the end we only paid for the drink and the duck dish. Food - very bad, Service - needs improvement, disappointing. 1108 W Pender St, Vancouver, BC“

“Had a random craving for poke when I was working from office. Got a regular build your own bowl for $17.8. Overall quite satisfied with my bowl. Generous portion for protein and lots of options for the toppings: I got spicy tuna and salmon with mango, cilantro, pineapple, jalapeno, radish, edamame, spicy seaweed and crunchy garlic. It’s also nice that they let you mix two sauces (the wasabi and super spicy one in my case).“

“Got the Pad grapao with fluffy egg over rice and it was very tasty and well presented! Lots of rice though but next time I will be back to try their other curries. Their thai green tea is also quite good which I don’t see often in other thai restaurants.“

“Amazing sushi donburis, particularly the sha-ke don, and even the katsu curry, corokke, and gyu don I've tasted before were stellar. With an affordable price point, casual vibes, and attentive staff, I'd highly recommend this place.“

“I’m a huge fan of Xi’an cuisine so I got the Cumin Lamb Noodles. This was dressed in a fragrant chilli oil sauce, and was decently spicy/numbing. (The kind that makes you sweat and blow your nose mid-meal). Generous portion of thicker hand-pulled noodles and sliced lamb, and only a handful of gratuitous veggies at the bottom. This is a heavier option for a meal so be warned. Decent value for $15+tax. Only wish it was tad less greasy and included more veggies. Service was super friendly!“

“Gyu King Teppanyaki is now a go-to spot for me, especially for business dinners. They accommodated our party of 16 on short notice, and the service was exceptional. The food was good, and while other places might offer slightly higher quality, they don’t match the exclusive yet comfortable atmosphere that Gyu King provides. The staff treated us with the utmost respect, making the experience both enjoyable and professional. For anyone looking for a place that balances great service, exclusivity, and a memorable dining experience, Gyu King is the perfect choice.“

“Authentic Taiwanese braised beef noodles. You can choose half beef brisket and half tendons noodles. You can also choose thin or thick noodles. We recommend thick noodles. We ordered sliced beef in Chinese green onion pancake, pan fried chive vol-au-vent, and Taiwanese chicken nuggets. They take cash only so need to be aware of and prepare for it before you go.“

“Food: The Rose Milk Tea and the Chicken Nuggets on Rice were very good, juicy, and fresh. They were delicious.Service: the staff was super friendly and nice. The person read my mind and gave me the bill right away.Atmosphere: the restaurant had a modern decor. Very spacey and comfortable. A minor one: I thought the table can be a tiny bit cleaner. Overall, it’s a relaxing place to enjoy a meal.“

“We live in North Shore and are regulars at Wooden Fish and this is our first time at Pho and Roll. Very impressed with their food and atmosphere. More upscale than Wooden Fish but both are excellent. We were worried about parking but had no issues finding a spot right away on a side street (lots of parking on the side streets and parking lots as well). We will return.“
