I particularly loved how fresh the vegetables looked in all of our plates. The combination of broccoli and vibrant red peppers in the noodle dishes was a highlight. You can really tell they care about the ingredients they use. I will definitely be back again soon.“

“Delicious noodles! Prompt service. Tom yum was the perfect level of sour and spicy. Got out with the thick noodles which had a really nice chew. I don’t usually love shrimp, but these were fresh as they had a nice bounce.

Only down part is that it’s really warm - perhaps not enough AC / fan. Air circulation not great, but otherwise the space is cozy and cute.“

“Prepare to be transported to Thailand! The owners are incredibly kind are welcoming, and bring the underrepresented Central Thai flavors to Vancouver. Pad Thai, Green Curry, Larb moo, pineapple fried rice, and roti were all prepared with generous portions of fresh ingredients and full flavored spices. Go for the fresh coconut to cool down. Plenty of free parking off of main street. Highly recommended.“

“Came here to try and it was good! Im not a fan of Pad Thai but no nits one of my fave. Panang Curry is one of a kind. And the Grilled Chicken is tasty! But my fave and my first time trying is the Tom Kha. This is where Thai food shines, dishes with coconut milk. Only thing is: seats arent that comfy (atleast for me), table for 3 is a little too small for 3 and they should get a bigger place.

“Super Thai Food Truck serves some of the best authentic Pad Thai I've had in Vancouver. The flavors immediately reminded me of the food I enjoyed in Thailand, with the perfect balance of sweetness, tanginess, and fresh ingredients.

The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. It's clear they care about both their food and their customers.

“The food was pretty amazing. We had the roti and it was deep fried with a yummy curry sauce on the side. We also ordered a pork jowl and it was a little over spiced for me, but also delicious. We also ordered a special off their poster with a variety and it did not disappoint at all. I felt that their non alcoholic drinks are a little overpriced for what you get, so I would skip it next time.

This place is tiny with only a handful of tables and they fill up VERY fast, so go early or be sure to make a reservation to avoid waiting for a long time.

Staff was SUPER nice. Was very apologetic for making sit at the counter by the window, because there was no other table, but we were perfectly fine with it.

Parking is a little challenging, as there was not alot of parking on Knight Street, so you will need to find parking on the residential side streets.“

“After discovering this place, we have visited 5x in 2 weeks. Amazing pay-by weight hot pot place with extremely high quality broth. It is not too busy and the servers are so attentive/friendly. The broths are very flavourful, the Tom yum and fish maw chicken are our favorites. Their Taiwanese chicken nuggets and golden buns are also delicious. They do not charge extra for take out containers in case you cannot finish your food, which is a plus!

Tip: come before 5pm for their lunch special. You get so much food for the price, comes with choice of drink and dessert. The appies are also $3 off with the lunch special.“

“I recently visited Thai Basil and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The food was truly outstanding. I ordered the mixed vegetables, fresh salad, fish cakes, and a few other dishes and every single item was delicious. The flavors were authentic, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. The variety on the menu is impressive and everything I tried exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for great Thai food, Thai Basil is the place to go. I will definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommended!“
