“Overall, I had a pretty good experience at Patsara Thai. We ordered Pad Thai, Tomyum Rice with beef, Tomyum Soup, Mango Sticky Rice, and Thai Green Milk Tea.

The Tomyum Soup was decent but nothing too special in my opinion. The flavor was okay and worked well as a side dish, but the toppings were a bit lacking ☹️ mostly just mushrooms and shrimp. Considering that, I felt the price was slightly expensive for what was included.

The Tomyum Rice was definitely the highlight of the meal. The portion was big, the flavor was really good, and both my friend and I agreed that the beef and toppings were generous. If you come here, I’d definitely recommend ordering this dish. 🤤🙆🏻‍♀️

For the Pad Thai, I personally liked the flavor and found it balanced, but my friend thought it was a bit too sour and not really their taste.

The Mango Sticky Rice tasted very authentic, similar to the ones I had in Thailand, and the mango was sweet and delicious.

The Thai Green Milk Tea was also really good! Very fresh, creamy, and refreshing.“

“This is my go to don't feel like cooking place. Great when it's hot or cold as they have a nice selection of choices for hot weather or something to warm you up on a rainy day. Either way the food is consistently good and the prices are reasonable. As long as nothing changes, it's practically perfect!“

“Whoa. Hands down the best Thai food I've ever eaten in my life outside of Thailand direct. You won't be disappointed. The stir fried dishes had the perfect amount of Wok Hei and smokiness. I'm still thinking about it. We had the Som Tum, Ginger Shrimp, Drunken Chicken Noodles and the most stunning Tom Kha soup I've had. The flavor profile was so deep and aromatic. Id rate this place with even more stars if I could.“

“Dropped by randomly for dinner while visiting Metrotown mall. Got the beef noodle and fish ball noodle soup. Amazing flavour from the soup. I liked the simple and light tasting broth in the fish noodle soup and the beef noodle soup with spice was quite flavorful as well. Simple clean flavours. Beef was very tender. Also got the Thai ice milk tea drink. Very tasty not too sweet, (it's not meant to be). Simple but clean plating, also they serve hot water 😁. Please drop by and have a taste. Free noodle refills with your remaining broth so you can get your fill. $15 min order per person. Price is reasonable for their food. The place is quite small though, only seats 16 people. Might be hard to get a spot when they are busy. They have a stamp collection reward card.“

“A nice small well run Thai food place. I come here for lunch from time to time with work colleagues and the service and atmosphere is nice and wholesome. We get accommodated even when we are as many as 10 people. The food is always tasty with nice Thai flavours. The best part of eating here is the hospitality of the hostess. “I recently moved to Penticton and had a craving for Thai food so I checked out a local spot in town, hoping it would compare to my favourite Thai by Thai. Sadly did not . I always order the Cashew nut and let me tell you, Thai by Thai is hands down The absolute best I’ve ever had! There’s not a dish I haven’t liked. Highly recommend their cashew nut, Yellow coconut curry, Egg noodle, Basil fried rice, Chicken satay And their lettuce wraps!! The flavours are to die for, and the staff are very friendly with quick service! I miss this place!“

“Delicious food and good service. Thai ladies running the restaurant do a great job. We had chicken in peanut sauce (which was a speciality) and a prawn dish, both wonderful. Easy to find on the main road near moody centre skyrail. The decor of the restaurant itself was a bit lacking but the food was great. Highly recommend!“

“After discovering this place, we have visited 5x in 2 weeks. Amazing pay-by weight hot pot place with extremely high quality broth. It is not too busy and the servers are so attentive/friendly. The broths are very flavourful, the Tom yum and fish maw chicken are our favorites. Their Taiwanese chicken nuggets and golden buns are also delicious. They do not charge extra for take out containers in case you cannot finish your food, which is a plus!

Tip: come before 5pm for their lunch special. You get so much food for the price, comes with choice of drink and dessert. The appies are also $3 off with the lunch special.“
