“We celebrated our 10th anniversary on January 25 at Coast Restaurant during the Dine Out Festival 2026, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. As expected from the Glowbal Restaurant Group, the service was absolutely top-notch. Our waitress made the evening even more special—she happened to be a fellow Swiftie! We ended up having such a lovely chat about how we millennials grew up listening to Taylor Swift, which added a fun and personal touch to our celebration. She truly went above and beyond to make our anniversary memorable. Not only did we receive a complimentary cake as a thoughtful gesture, but she also surprised me with a Swiftie friendship bracelet—such a sweet and unique detail that we’ll always remember. The food was amazing from start to finish. My husband had the New England Chowder for his appetizer, while I enjoyed the shrimp salad. For our mains, we both chose the surf n’ turf—our favorite—and it did not disappoint. We ended the night with a delicious sticky toffee pudding, along with the complimentary cake. “Pretty good central location with a nice relax atmosphere. The food, especially their Crab and Shrimp banquette was really soft, buttery, and extra tasty, it's pricey but good food isn't cheap. The crowd was nice and the place offers wifi as well. It's a great place for a nice treat and meal!“

“I had an incredible experience here last Friday! My friends hosted a surprise bridal shower for me in the private dining room. The staff were thoughtful and helpful with the setup, allowing my them to come in early to decorate the space. They also did a flawless job with executing the surprise by pretending to bring me to a table first. The server was fun, warm and attentive throughout the night and I feel terrible that I’m forgetting her name! All the food was delicious, which has been the case every time I’ve been to Boulevard.“

“We had a great evening at oddfish. We shared five dishes between 2, the tuna tataki was the best dish we thought (although they were all very good). The tuna tartare was also excellent as well as the burrata the broccolini and the mussels. The staff was nice and the atmosphere too. The only thing I’d say is we got the 5 dishes served within an hour and we thought that was too rushed, it didn’t leave any time for digestion between plates. Highly recommend this restaurant!“

“Great little fish and chips shop on Hastings St near Nanaimo St. Looks like a diner. The fish and chips were crispy with a light golden batter and the fries and tartar sauce were great. Staff were friendly and responsive and the vibe was very community like. Prices were reasonable for very good quality food.“

“My experience at Is That French was lovely. I took my parents here for their birthdays, and they were amazed by the thought and detail that went into both the food and wine selection. You could truly taste the quality of every ingredient and the care the chefs put into every plate. The wine was also outstanding. The one thing I would point out is that the space is unfortunately not very accessible for wheelchair users or older guests with mobility limitations. Thankfully, my dad uses a rollator, so he was able to manage the first few steps while we carried his rollator upstairs, but no one offered assistance. Our waitress was kind and did her best to accommodate him once we entered the restaurant, but it was clear that the space itself presents some accessibility challenges. My dad also mentioned that although there is an accessible bathroom, it didn't have grab bars. The seating was another challenge for my parents, as the chairs have no backs or cushions, which made it quite uncomfortable for them. Other than that, we had a really nice experience. Our server was incredible. I only wish that spaces like this could be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of age or physical ability. I hope these are things the restaurant might consider improving in the future, because the food and experience truly deserve to be accessible to more people.“

“We came here for dim sum on the weekend and it was very busy, but luckily we only had to wait a little while before getting a table. There are so many dim sum restaurants to choose from in Vancouver, and this one definitely stood out. The food was fresh and delicious, and we really enjoyed our meal. “We read about Forage in line and decided to try it. What a great decision! The food was excellent. As the idea is sharing plates we selected a number of small plates. We had the fish dip, with lovely homemade tortillas which were delicious. We had a spring salad, the zucchini salad, bison carpaccio, and smoked salmon- everything was great. Washed down with a nice Shiraz - what more could you want? Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend you to try.“

“Just when you think they can't raise their game any higher Hy's manages to find a way. We attended the Calgary locations 10th Anniversary Celebration on Sept 26th and it was spectacular. The event was flawlessly organized and orchestrated by the Hy's team, the food was next level even by Hy's standards and the service exceeded anything we have experienced anywhere in North America even in the finest hotels. Bryant Olender added a classic background with piano and vocal stylings that perfectly suited the atmosphere. It was certainly the best evening we have at Hy's over the last decade, and I don't think I'm overstating it to say it was a "Once in a Lifetime" experience. A huge thankyou to Barb and the entire Hy's team!“

“I attended my first game of the season Dec 10th. The Canucks played and lost to the Minnesota Wild. The lobster roll was honestly my favorite thing about attending Canucks’ games. The lobster roll tasted good. The lobster meat was cooked well and the texture perfect. I admit it’s been a few years since I had season tickets. I renewed this year and told everyone the lobster roll was a can’t miss. The lobster roll held it’s own but the new kettle chips are a miss. Bring back Ms Vickies! The kettle chips were hard and tasteless.“

Its siren song calls out to me. I will be back for more.. (p.s. they are open Sunday which is really nice as a lot of the other places here close).“

Onigiri was made fresh. Lots of filling and well seasoned.

Fried tempura was a bit hard. Would try a different side for the cold soba next time.

“Came for the Tuesday night Peking Duck special. All the food was excellent, as usual. Service was prompt, and pacing was great. Quality of ingredients was top notch in all the dishes.

If you park in the orange area of the parking garage and give them your license plate and stall number when you check in, you get free parking too!“
