“Me and my husband wanted to try out the food here, so we ordered a takeout. We got the Shanghai noodle with chicken, curry beef, honey prawns, honey garlic chicken, spicy deep fried chicken, and tofu beef soup (I dont remember the exact names). The price for all of this is reasonable I would say, but we did ordered a lot. All were delicious and filling! The portions were just right, not too small or too much, which is what I like. We will definitely come back here when were craving for Chinese food! Sorry I couldn't take photos, we ate the food immediately when we got home.“

“Whenever I get a proper craving for fish and chips, Cockney Kings Fish & Chips is my default setting. They run daily specials, and while I occasionally go full treat-yourself with the halibut, my usual order is the cod two-piece plus calamari, which I split with my partner. Reliable, classic and zero regrets.

The service is genuinely lovely. At lunch today they automatically split the cod onto two plates and brought them out separately without even having to ask. That kind of attention and service tends to stick.

The ambiance leans diner rather than destination restaurant, but it's cozy in the way diners are supposed to be: comfortable, unfussy, and staffed by people who seem happy you're there. Cockney Kings in New West wins you over with warmth, consistency, and very solid fish and chips.

“Great sushi spot I hope. Me and my friend had the san/Jo sets and honestly for 24/22 each it was really good. Like I think I would find myself craving it again. I loved how the chicken was fried for my set , though my friend mentioned the beef in her don was a tad dry. The sushi and sashimi here is perfect though , I love what they did with the rice , the way they set up their sushi viniger will keep me coming back. We enjoyed most of the side dishes , I think there were one or two we though were just okay .
But yeah , I would totally have it again just for the sushi and sashimi, maybe even just order some of those items specifically.“

It's very hard to find the place and even with Google map's help...twisting and turning to go to the parking... The restaurant sign was not bright at all so people missed it. After dinner, it was late and the parking lot was not well light, roads were dark... Not good.“

The only thing is, they served it with a small portion of rice (as substitute) which our server happily asked the kitchen for more. We ordered some spring rolls a chicken and rice dish with mixed vegetables sweet and sour spareribs and some very tasty hot and sour soup !
Our order came within like 10 to 15 minutes after ordering. We couldn't finish the soup and I ate it for 2 meals later that week. Price was very reasonable $45.89!! can't beat the price and I've eaten at a lot of Chinese restaurants and chinese tea is always usually free!

“Lovely! We treated ourselves to a night with no kids for our 18th anniversary and enjoyed everything about this hotel. We had great communication with the staff. Cleanliness was outstanding, the room was very quiet, the bed was comfortable, the decor very pretty, and we were excited to be able to see the water from our window. But the best part was the location- you step outside the elevator and you’re right in the fun of the shipyards area. We had a special dinner, then took the seabus to the other side and biked around Stanley Park, then returned and went out again to get dessert. “Really satisfying late night BBQ spot. We ordered a mix of skewers, plus a few dishes. Everything was pretty good. The lamb skewers were juicy, well seasoned, and had that proper charcoal grilled flavor without being overly salty.
The fried rice was really good too, very smoky and flavorful with generous portions of meat throughout. We also tried the spicy hot tripe, which had a lot of flavor without tasting overly oily.

“Where in Vancouver can you get a feast for 6 for $138, Cantonese carrot and pork bone soup and red bean dessert included?

Good portions as we only barely finished 3 of the 5 dishes, all from the set.

We had the set dinner (紅雞魚二食 十 3餸)

For the 3 dishes of our choice, we didn't go for a vegetable dish although we always needed veggies in our dinner because one course of the two dishes using the red eye fish has Choi sum and the other fish has deep fried tofu.

I think the set is still a good portion for bigger eaters than us.

I tried the chicken naan at Aroma Indian Restaurant and it was really good. The naan was fresh, soft, and full of flavor. The chicken inside was tasty and well cooked.
