Very wonderful place. Lovely meats. Great desserts. Best BBT you’ll find in Van. Very cool!
Surprisingly, taste wise is super good. Reminds me a home cooking. Just a little hard to communicate with the server in Chinese language but overall is very warm welcome restaurant. Will go back to try others food.
Delicious food, excellent service, the steamed rice and lamb skewer was perfectly cooked :)

Kuan Zhai Road Kingsway BBQ House offers delicious food and amazing service, with dishes that are nicely seasoned and tender. Taste wise is super good, reminding some of home cooking. The restaurant serves Hunan food, with every dish spiced either with the Hunan way or authentic Hunan dishes with great care for ingredients. Specific meals include chilli chicken wings, classic lamb skewers, shrimp in the seafood fried rice, brown sugar fried sticky rice made with actual scratch made caramel, grilled fish, grilled mutton skewers, grilled chicken skin, coconut chicken, pork intestines, chicken and lamb skewers, egg fried rice, and chilli oil chicken. All items are very good and good value. The overall atmosphere is very warm welcome, with a friendly boss lady highly recommended. However, one reviewer noted a painful dining experience due to unsatisfactory service attitude from a middle-aged and elderly man, who made inappropriate comments about body shape and repeatedly discussed personal medical details despite requests to stop, lacking basic respect and politeness. Another reviewer mentioned a little hard to communicate with the server in Chinese language.
