First time my boyfriend and I came to this restaurant and oh man was it ever fantastic. The meat was perfectly cut and we got a lot for what we ordered. We added the assorted vegetables which consisted of red pepper, mushrooms, squash, onions and yams. We have been to a grill like that before but it was not as good as this place. Their cold noodles were more than excellent. The quality of noodles were best in Vancouver because they have a special noodle machine and serve freshly made noodles. The meat was delicious. Their combo price was reasonable.
Chosen Korean BBQ has a good selection of meats. From well-marinated options to premium cuts, decent quality, and packed with flavor. There was something for everyone, and it made the whole experience feel worth it. The side dishes were also delicious and complemented the meal perfectly. If you’re looking for a OG Korean BBQ spot then Chosun would be a good starter.

Chosun Korean BBQ is a long-standing restaurant in Vancouver, offering a mix of Korean and Japanese dishes. The Korean Style Set Meal A and Japanese Style Set Meal B remain popular choices. The medium set menu with hot pot is a tasty choice, and the spicy beef intestine hotpot is to die for—zero smell, perfectly tender, and the broth is so flavorful. The seafood pancake is perfectly crispy, and there is a creamy shrimp dish that is absolutely delicious.
The atmosphere is pretty nice. The location is a bit small, so you're likely going to wait. The staff provides top notch service and is very kind, even when the restaurant gets busy. They have a button you can press for service. The food is incredible, with great cuts of meat and a variety of side dishes that are free to refill. Overall it is a nice experience for some Korean BBQ.
