“Ordered hot snow onion chicken for takeout, and it’s so nice. Crunchy outside, juicy inside and it blended well with the onions. Not too spicy for me and it’s a quick order since there weren’t not many people inside. The server, Kim Hoon, was friendly as well. Would recommend this place to everyone!“

I’ve lived in and tried Korean BBQ in places like Korea, Toronto, California, and NYC, but this was by far the best, especially for the price. “Had japchae, and sooda half classic, and all in all food was delish, so was ambiance and service. However they do not give you a refill on the kimchi which is the not so cool part of a Korean Restaurant. They charge 2.99 for extra side plate of kimchi. All in all good experience, will come back if I can't find another Korean Restaurant open in Gas Town.“
“Awesome local spot! Rare to have a place that serves both Korean and Japanese food and both are good! They are very friendly and make you feel at home.I just had the hamachi shabushabu tonight - lots of fresh hamachi with veggies cooked at the table in soup, then they bring rice and egg afterwards to make a rice soup to end the meal with. “Sushi Howe is small but the people are extremely friendly and the sushi is exceptional. I live close and they always greet me by name and make the sushi quickly. Try the Salmon Combo C and Spicy Crunch Roll. Also the deep fried Burning Sun roll is another favourite.“
“I was happy with the food and the friendly staff. It’s always a bonus when you can choose your own style! Like for example half mozarella and pork or many other options, also toppings like sweet potato or ramen crisp. Top it with your favorite sauce and add some flakes like Parmesan for the final twist. Only sad thing is that you can’t sit in or in front of the place - so it’s mostly a to go snack.Thumbs up, I was full because it was quite a good portion of food.“
“The chicken is amazing BUT…. The sides are ridiculous. When I spend $80 on chicken for 2 of us, I’d expect my $4 side of coleslaw to be more than 3 bites. I will order their chicken again, but never a side dish. They really need to up their side dish game. I like veggies with my dinner but not for $14 for a small handful of kale, or $4 for 2-3 bites of coleslaw.Maybe a 4 star rating is too generous? I don’t know. The chicken is just really good. Pretty pricey, but good.“

“I liked it, however it misses some vegetarian options. I had to stay with corn cheese and rice as there wasn't an option of vegetarian barbecue with veggies or something similar. I would say it is "tá bom" (it's good) but it's not "tá ótimo" (it's great)“
“partner and I went before going to Shen Yen.we both had the tasting menu (veg) since some of the fish items on the carnivore menu weren't our particular tastes.food was absolutely amazing. service was incredible. when we told the server we were running low on time they and the kitchen accommodated us. dishes were served with full descriptions. sake flight was served with both descriptions and background which I loved.would go here again for sure and high on my recommendation list to friends. made for a fantastic start to an awesome night“
“Excellent bibimbap and a good portion for the price. The place is a food court so not really nice to sit down. Better to take out unless you want the hot stone meals. I'll come back for the gimbap and japchae. The service is very attentive, they should just be careful adding sauce - some people can't have them because of gluten, not spicy levels!“
“Went around a month ago on a chilly day. We ordered sushi that was delicious and fresh as well as the tofu stew which was a generous serving and was absolutely delightful! Forgot to take pictures of the sushi but we also had karaage and takoyaki which we both loved! We will definitely come back again!!!“

“Got the strawberry bingsu cause I was craving a sweet treat and it was so good! Fruit was fresh, the ice cream on top was good and the drizzles were nice. The bingsu was flaky, nicely icey, and while on the coarser side, was still very light and sweet! It's an alright/sizable portion size for the price (bc its a campus shop the price is higher). I definitely recommend trying, and will try the other flavors.“
“We were looking for a place late at night that serves high quality healthy tasty food at a fair price, and we were delighted with this. The handsome server was doing everything himself, serving, cooking, and everything else. The kalbee beef short rib and tacos were incredible. He even made a glass of hot milk for my friends daughter after she had a cry. We will be back.“

I’m in the neighborhood and I suggest this place to everyone who stops by. they make everything fresh so it takes a little bit of time, but they warn you ahead of time and recommend calling before! this means that all the food is perfectly cooked and delicious when you pick it up fresh. the fries are super good and the chicken is so juicy! every flavour i’ve had has slapped and I will continue to give rave reviews to friends!Kid-friendliness: Picky eater options“
