“Came in for some chicken basically at closing time and the energy and customer service were still excellent. Greeted by the staff, friendly chat and very accommodating while I waited. I know I am not the only person who appreciates seeing black people working in any given space and this was no exception. Pretty much all of the staff gave positive energy and vibes were immaculate. I came for the chicken but the good vibes keep me coming back despite the $$ increase. Nola is a gem, she deserves a promotion..??“
“Frying Pan hits a home run with their Korean fried chicken rice bowl - a dish that sets the bar sky-high. Juicy, crispy, and utterly irresistible, it's not just a meal but a revelation. Easily the best fried chicken experience one can savor. This food truck doesn't just serve food; it serves joy on a plate. A must-try for anyone claiming to be a fried chicken aficionado.“
“Tried the bbq and the hoisin chicken wraps and they're both excellent. Hugely recommend! The crisped up cheese and the green onion pancake wrap on them, respectively, were fantastic. Really thoughtfully crafted menu items. The al pastor from another day wasn't that memorable though, which I thought I'd like the most. Maybe it was just under-seasoned that day or something idk.“
“Nice place, kind staff. Food was good but pricey. Chicken in general is expensive. That could be why. It's very similar to Nando's, which we don't have any of close by.Parking: You need to scan for free parking. Tons of spacesWheelchair accessibility: It's on the ground floor so the access is easy for wheelchairs.“
“I thought KFC was great, then I tried Jollibee, and that was one notch better than KFC, and I just tried Popeyes and boy, was it ever delicious...You have to try it to believe what I am talking about and make sure to get their Cajun fries + various dips...Forget KFC and Jollibee...This is better !“
“Went there with family (including 2 kids). They enjoyed the food. The burgers onion rings, fries ?, spicy chicken wings, fried chicken, it was all yummy. The owner and the waitress personally came to ask if all the food was okay. It was all halal. The place was super clean. There lots of drink options available. They do not have bottomless refill. It was quiet, so nice place to be, there are a few parking spots outside, and it was empty so we got a good spot. It is wheelchair accessible. It's a good place to come with older kids. The seating area is quite small, but good enough. There is one washroom there which is also wheelchair accessible.I would go there again and recommend this place if you like fried chicken.“
“Frequent traveler, but first time in Vancouver. Was jet lagged and starving, so I Door Dashed Chicko Chicken. It did not disappoint and started my new obsession with Korean-style fried chicken! Food was hot and crispy. Sauces were full of flavor. Onions were a bit strong, but I enjoyed it overall.“
“Well, last Saturday, I went to this place and I was blown away by the service at this location. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations. Truly great service! Moreover, shift manager was handling each and everything in proper way. As, confirming each and everything as per customer taste, even there was a girl who was at front and she is handling at the back as well and providing an excellent service with customers in very busy time.“
“Wow. Zabu Chicken shows an incredible side of Korean food. From presentation, atmosphere, aroma and flavors. My server deserves her own 5 stars. She was very attentive and helpful. I had the kimchi stew. It was bursting with meat and goodies, and it was so perfectly spiced. The cucumber kimchi gets a yummy shout out as well. I finished with zabu hot sticks. Again they were perfectly spiced with a nice burst of flavor easy to handle. Thank you for an outstanding experience. I can not wait to come back again.“
