“Had the Pho Satay. Pretty on point. Generous amount of noodles that were cooked al dente. Been to a few pho restaurants where the noodles just break up apart, but not here. Would I have liked more rare beef? Perhaps. Maybe a little bit more basil...I only say this because it is at the $21 total price not including tip. The broth is phenomenal - the peanut spice mixture into the beef broth is top tier! The balance is just perfect. The flavour alone would probably make you think twice about going to a Japanese ramen spot and I'm a die hard ramen fan.

Service is excellent. I should probably add that it's refreshing to know that there is a restaurant that doesn't serve tap water. This place actually has CLEAN PURIFIED WATER. It makes a big difference for me anyways.

It was a promo that sent me there and because of the friendly service, hot pizza, and good ingredients I will definitely return.

“We read about Forage in line and decided to try it. What a great decision! The food was excellent. As the idea is sharing plates we selected a number of small plates. We had the fish dip, with lovely homemade tortillas which were delicious. We had a spring salad, the zucchini salad, bison carpaccio, and smoked salmon- everything was great. Washed down with a nice Shiraz - what more could you want? Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend you to try.“

“A little cramped, a little dingy, a little disorganized, this restaurant will win you over not with looks but with comfort food, refreshing soda, and a kind soul.

The curry chicken is presented like an omurice with several fat chunks of chicken around it. The chicken was pleasantly soft and chewy, and went well with the curry sauce. The rice was a bit hard, but no points lost for that. I could eat it just fine with the thinly spread egg. The star of the show was actually the berry soda! Sweet but with the right amount of tanginess, and with some berry pulp at the bottom to top it off!

There was enough soda in one cup to last me two meals. It’s enough of a selling point for me to return. I usually don’t drink soda, but damn, you got to me. Thank you!“

“I came here for lunch today and ordered the Tuna Tataki salad with chicken donburi 2 item combo. There are a lot of tuna chunks in my salid, well worth the additional $2. The chicken donburi is on the salty side and there were some chicken cartilage and tough onion skins in the bowl that shouldn’t have been in the bowl. I’d suggest Mainichi to provide miso soup with their combo. They don’t cost much and add to perceived value of the meal. Overall a very good new Japanese style Korean restaurant.“

“Honestly the best pizza in Vancouver, no doubt. I come here all the time because it’s right next to my school, and it never disappoints. The pizza is amazing super fresh, great flavor, and always hits.

“I ordered a pizza through the app and waited in store for it. They were very nice. I left to go to a meeting and then I saw a homeless man sitting outside 88 Supermarket so I asked him if he wanted some pizza. I explained I couldn’t give him the one in my hand as it was for a colleague, but I brought him to Pizza Hut and ordered a pizza for him. I told him I have to leave as I have a meeting but he could stay and pick up his pizza. I asked if he wanted pop and he went to grab one from the fridge. The worker was talking to their colleagues and in the end, he said that I could just pay for the pop and they would cover the pizza. I asked if that was okay and they said it was fine. That was extremely nice of them!!!! I will forever be going to this Pizza Hut shop, and I will be telling all my friends. This place is so friendly and nice - we need more people and places like you. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We had to order last minute for a large group, and this turned out to be a great solution; they prepared the pizzas exactly as ordered and had them ready on time.

Food was good (value - medium, more below).
Seating was basic but adequate.
The dudes behind the counter were amazing! (Free drink at lunch, added bonus).

Chicken shawarma platter (spicy with extra turnips).
I think my whiteness scared them cause it was mild at best.
Chicken was juicy and flavorful, potatoes were surprisingly good - excellent seasoning, salad was ok, no tabouli. Pita was dried out, didn't dig it. Chips were good.

Value.
If you're even slightly hungry, you need to order the platter which will set you back $20 (seems to be average here as even food trucks are $15).

If you're from Toronto, this is a *slightly* elevated Alibabas or Pita Grill but the prices is DOUBLE either of those with less food - but better salad. (Although their takeout bags looked 5*).

Would I eat here again - no.

“Don’t know why this place gets so many negative reviews. I’ve lived in Vancouver for a long time and used to go to this Panago 6-7 years ago until I moved further. Came back to this location two days in a row and the service was great, fast, polite and considerate. Got the $4.99 Pan pizza walk-in special (new and temporary promotion).

The woman that works in the store and her partner seem to own the franchise and there was no wait. I saw her make the pizza fresh in front of me with fresh dough.
