“Our server (Aaron B) was really knowledgeable about the menu and was extremely helpful with making our food choices. We were very surprised when he told us that this was his first day as a waiter. The food was excellent too, we especially enjoyed the sashimi sampler plate.
We look forward to returning but it's a bit expensive for us, so our return visit will have to wait for a special occasion.“

“Anytime I'm in Vancouver this is always a spot to go to. Birthday celebrations, lunch date or romantic dinner. The food is always delicious, flavorful and perfect balance of spices. I always recommend this place for anytime dinning. The staff are amazing and the recommendations are on point. ny favorite time to go are evenings - intimate and cozy. 5 stars !!!!“

“I have been wanting to write this review for awhile now but haven't had the opportunity to sit down and do it properly without rushing through it. My wife and I had finished shopping at The Brick Furniture store around 12:30 PM, on October 8, 2024, which is located next door to this Freshslice Pizza location. We had never dined at a Freshslice Pizza outlet before but thought we would give it a try. From the moment we entered we were very impressed with the sole young female employee running the store all by herself. She was amazingly friendly, polite, organized, helpful and hardworking. We were not sure of what to order and she gave us some suggestions and stated she was just making a fresh peperoni pizza. There were several others customers in the store dining and numerous others coming in to pick up pizza's and other products. I have no idea how she handled everything?, it was like there were 3 of her running the shop. She was making pizza's, packaging food, serving people, taking payments and as we were finishing eating she was cleaning tables and the restaurant. If I was her boss, I would give her a raise and promotion. This young lady is management material and should have her own store to run. Now the pizza, we sampled 4 different types of pizza and they were all excellent in taste, quality and price point. Excellent value for your money. My wife who isn't a big pizza fan stated, "this is the best pizza I have ever ate in my life"...she loved the sauce and stated this pizza is not salty like other pizza's........and she told the young employee the same thing. The little restaurant isn't very big or fancy, but it was very clean and organized in no small part to this employee. This evening my wife said she wants to eat Freshslice Pizza this weekend again..............this would never have happened in the past, it was always me suggesting to have pizza........yippee for me as I love pizza!!!! Freshslice Pizza is our new favorite pizza place. If you have never tried this brand of pizza before you need to give it a try. We hope the quality and service are the same at other locations near where we live.

NOTE: I just read another review about this store from 5 days ago so I am making an edit (more of an addition) to my review to include: The review stated the store was sold and that the service and quality of pizza has gone from 5 out of 5 to 1 out of 5 with 3 employees working...........what a shame................I hope the employees that are no longer working there have other jobs. The reviews of the previous employees are top notch..............“

“I went to your restaurant for the first time this Oct. The love you showed us through your food is beyond any words could say. The food was amazing, and the family-style service allowed me to try a variety of excellent Palestinian cuisine. I cannot wait to bring my family and eat again at your restaurant. “Loved every minute of our dining experience here! The aromas upon entering this wee spot got us excited, the welcoming staff were lovely, and then...the food. We ordered Omakase C - Cofu and were delighted! The presentation is artful, but not fussily so. The flavours were layered and subtle so every ingredient could be tasted. Our favourite was the salmon sushi (we ordered an extra 8 pieces!), rich, decadent and delish, especially with the Cilantro Cucumber sauce. We tried the Restore and Elevate mushroom tinctures on the rocks; unexpected flavours, but they grew on us paired with the food and a little ice melt dilution. We will go back time and again to try everything on the menu. Highly recommended!“

Total game-changer, juicy and packed with flavor! Staff’s chill, vibe’s quirky and casual. Parking’s a pain. Worth a stop for the banh mi alone“

“While in Vancouver the beginning of November for medical appointments. My wife and I were undecided on were to eat. We walked out of our motel. Looked across the street and saw the Italian Kitchen, we walked over and asked if they had any seats available, it was a very busy night ,got our seats and our sever was Sam he was very pleasant. My wife and I both so impressed with our meal. If we ever go back to Vancouver I know we're I will be eating.“

“Our favourite Irish pub in Vancouver. Pretty cheap and good Guiness, good food, and more laid back atmosphere than other Irish pubs in town. What really puts it up to 5 stars is the fantastic staff; it’s family owned and run and they put a ton of effort into accommodating guests and taking care of them. We showed up on Christmas Eve without a reservation and a big group, and the staff bent over backwards to get us all seated close together.“

“This is our usual spot for delivery. The Papa's special is always fully loaded with great toppings, super filling, but eating it doesn't make you feel terrible after like some chain pizza spots. If you grew up in BC with a Greek pizza spot then this will take you right back. It's not a traditional Italian pie, but it scratches a particular nostalgic itch.“

“We got these to-go from The Burrow, they sell them in the cooler, and they did not disappoint! The gluten-free cookie is so soft and salty and the vegan icecream was really creamy. We got double chocolate, cookie dough, strawberry shortbread! All three were delish, I can't wait to try more!“

“It was a prompt quick visit because I needed to buy French bread or baguette for a potluck lunch, I searched the bakery in the Kitsilano area and found good reviews. So I bought them, they're so fresh from the oven they smell so nice and taste so delicious I could eat the whole baguette myself with a slice of butter. A small bakery with healthy ingredients I heard. A little crowded, but maybe because people love it. We need to support local businesses like this. Next time I will try the croissant etc.“

“Absolutely delicious food. Still have all of the old favorites, with some new delicious additions. Personally still enjoy their old vegetarian dishes more, but their new dishes are great as well. I have it in my rotation to have. They clearly mark the gluten free options, and the food are all flavored delicately, good for people who prefer a healthier, lighter twist of Vietnamese food. Their banhmi was delicious, definitely one of the best ive had. Not sure about authenticity but the meat was seasoned and cooked perfectly, and the bread was great. I probably won't order it too often though because I found it to be a bit too expensive for the price - but I'll order it as a treat every once in awhile.“
