“Always love this place. It’s charming and comfortable and they have good spots to sit to work from my laptop for a bit while I eat. People working there are always friendly and pretty quick, and for a cafe the selection of food is really delicious and flavorful. They use good ingredients. My kids and I all like their cheese scones, their breakfast sandwiches, and I like their regular hot sandwiches, too. Chocolate whip on drinks always feels like a treat.“

“I would give her more than 5 stars if I could! Maria’s cakes are homemade, beautiful and taste delicious! You can’t go wrong with any flavors, but my favorites are the orange cake and brigadeiro brownie.“

“I usually feel unwell after eating Supermarket purchased (mass produced) sausages and cold cuts. But I have never had that experience while consuming any of these. I am a repeat customer. The dark red, peppery ones are nice and I do enjoy their garlic ones.“

I’ve come into this Brown’s location before and always have a great time, but this one was especially memorable. Will definitely be returning and requesting her!“

“Great little coffee spot that serves healthy options for breakfast🥐and lunch (breakfast burrito is delicious!). Baked goods are excellent. I bought 2 butter croissants, an oatmeal raisin cookie, a lemon 🍋 poppyseed muffin and an apple fritter. Highly recommend it to work, study or hang out.“

“Decent cheap pizza, but packaging needs improvement. In Burnaby we are encouraged to compost our used pizza boxes. Would be really nice if Fresh Slice clued into the fact that their plastic box stickers are almost impossible to remove, basically guaranteeing plastic contamination in our food waste.“

“While touring the area and sightseeing around the Fraser River, we found this lovely little café nearby. The soup and wraps were absolutely delicious. The chef was very courteous and friendly and even took the time to come out and explain the special ingredients he adds to his wraps, which are made fresh daily. That personal touch made the experience feel even more welcoming.
The server was also very friendly and attentive, checking back to make sure everything was okay despite how busy the café was.
The coffee, food to dessert was delicious, the service was fast, and the overall experience was wonderful. We’re so glad we stopped in and would definitely visit again.

Garlic bread is very tasty, as well, but might be a little too buttery for me when I'm already indulging in pizza ;-) I love the classic pizza parlor interior, and the wait staff and workers are always really nice and helpful. I wish they didn't have to get rid of the retro neon sign that was out front. That's what drew me in due to nostalgia (I wouldn't have known about it or visited otherwise). Thankfully, I found it before the sign was removed“

“This is by far the best cafe/coffeehouse in Coquitlam, if not the lower mainland. Staff are friendly and accommodating, the food is amazing, fresh, and filling, and the coffee is also fantastic! And prices are also really reasonable! The atmosphere in this place is always friendly, and if you call for take out its ready in a timely manner, I work in the area at times and always come here for lunch if I'm there around that time 10/10 beanery, keep doing what you're doing ❤️“

“I had the Pain au Chocolat and the ham, cheese, egg croissant and they were both delicious! Making room for my cheesecake stuffed cookie that also looks glorious. Fantastic portion sizes. I’ve tried a ton of gluten free in my 2 decade journey, and that Pain au Chocolat is the best I’ve come across. Cheers from a visiting Alberta girl!“

“Okay so, Tried the new Tandoori paneer Pizza and it was really good… the pizza was cooked perfectly. Service was quick, and the staff member (I think his name was Miller or Milen sorry if I got the name wrong) did a great job making the pizza. Overall, a great experience. I’ll definitely be back 👍🏼“

“Overall a great place, however they allow smoking on the patio right next to a door and sitting at the bar you get the horrible stench of tobacco every time the door to the patio opens. Really should not allow smoking on the premises.“

“Five of us had brunch here and really enjoyed it, ordering chicken salad, fried chicken with fries, two chicken paninis, and a banana waffle. Everything looked great and tasted delicious.
The only thing I would mention is that the fried chicken used thigh meat, so it was a bit firmer than breast , but overall we had a great brunch“

“Found this gem while in East Burnaby! They have amazing pizza slices for only $2.75, which is such an affordable price for the quality you get. The taste was excellent. Also, Shiwani provided great service and made the visit even better. Definitely check this place out!“

Service is always great and consistent, delivery is always faster than predicted, drivers are polite and friendly, any time we order pizza it comes piping hot like it has just come out of the oven. There are frequently great deals/coupons and often one night of the week is 40% off! Most consistent great service.“

“This Brown’s on Glen has incredible service, Incredibly compassionate staff, and their food, especially the blackened chicken cowboy salad is like it used to be and back to phenomenal….yum… the chicken was so so tasty and tender …yummy! We were there the last week in May and while the service was slow it was still great!! The manager came by and apologized and also insisted he pay for a couple of drinks for us. Even though we insisted on paying as we simply appreciated him apologizing for the slow service. We had a great discussion about how hard it is to staff restaurants. I can’t recommend this Brown’s enough. Great place to go with two people, a small group or a large group.“

“Pizza Pizza is mostly an eastern Canada chain so for those unfamiliar with its style, this is how it works: ORDER FRESH, and mostly skip the slices unless you’re looking for a snack to hold you over between meals. Yes sometimes individual slices are kind of dry but you’re also spending $5 for a decent sized slice.

ORDER ONLINE IF YOU HAVE A COMPLICATED ORDER, such as HALF AND HALF (meaning you can basically have two different pizzas on the same circle of pizza. THEY HAVE GLUTEN FREE, AND PLANT BASED OPTIONS. Wings are pretty good also.

PAY ATTENTION TO THE PROMOTIONS as they usually offer drinks and dips. An easy dinner for two should be under $30.

They work quickly and offer excellent value. This is a pick up and go spot, not really set up for dining inside. Customer service is friendly. I just dropped my slice and they replaced it without issue.“

“This store has great customer service, very friendly and helpful. I appreciate how quick it was for my order to be ready for pickup. Aswell if your not in such a hurry, this location has alot of seating for patrons and is also wheelchair accessible. Clean restaurant. Iam very pleased with my experiences with this particular fresh slice. As some I find the employees can be rude, but not this location. They are definitely friendly here.“

“UPDATE MAY 24/2026: Went last night and did a taste test with Domino’s. Was very impressed with Pizza Pizza’s vegan cheese plant based pizza as sadly Domino’s doesn’t have that option at all. Tastes great!!! Also big shout out to the worker on a busy Sunday night who work so hard and fast. The mgt must be very pleased and blessed by this hard worker.

ORIGINAL review: Had a really good experience tonight at this location somehow the wrong cheese was entered in to my order, but regardless the staff was so kind and generous and patient to redo the pizza with dairy free cheese, which I wanted. Absolutely five star... and incredible pizza as well!!! Huge shout out to Aman..amazing!!. The ownership should be very thankful and blessed to have a worker like this!!“

“The honey butter chicken wings were ap delicious 😋 The gluten free pizza crust was pretty good. I'm not sure what pizza I had as it was a special at the time but it had a lot of pepperoni on it.
I don't know what my husband had but he really enjoyed it, as well. LoL

“I visited this Cobs after being sad about lack of cream in my favourite cruffins in another Cobs, and I am so glad. Super friendly lovely staff, the cruffins were full of cream and soft and crunchy at the same time, the cinnamon buns were mouth melting and sesame seed buns were soft inside and crunchy outside just right with generous amount of sesame seeds. I am so happy that this cobs really takes care of quality of their products and are generous with ingredients. Will be happily coming back, don’t think you guys could do anything better.“
