“I've only tasted mochi donuts once before trying this place, so when we were in the area, we had to try some! They take walk-ins too even though they don't have a "real" storefront. Great tasting mochi donuts! The flavours we tried were the Vietnamese coffee (highly recommend!), kiwi lime, creme brûlée, and raspberry. These are filling for sure and denser than your average yeast or cake donuts, so beware!“
“I love lattes, I have tried many great ones, however, my absolute favourite place is Grit. It’s the coolest place too. I feel just as happy knowing I am supporting local. The desserts are large, shareable and delicious. I hope this place is enjoyed by you too! oh cool staff too!“
“Delicious fresh baked goods in house. Special and flavoured coffee are not from a sugary pre-made container but naturally spiced and never too sweet at all. Great atmosphere, great service. They have a play area for kids with books and changing artists paintings on the walls . They donate their used coffee grounds to locals for their gardens/compost. They are just an awesome part of the community“
“I love coming here to catch up with friends or to get some work done over a cup of coffee.They also sell other merchandise and coffee gear which is a bit odd but the overall atmosphere is very clean and modern.I do wish they had more seating area for customers because it gets quite busy and fills up quickly.Give this place a try for brunch or a coffee date if you’re in Port Moody!“
“It's a very nice cafe. The cheese pancake is very delicious, however, the last time I went the pancakes were a bit crumbly, I assume it was a one time thing. I'm not sure if they have changed the chef. The pastries are pretty fresh. Overall, I like this place.“

“I’ve eaten a lot of food in a lot of countries and one thing I’ve always lamented was that it’s been so hard to find good Mexican food on the coast, until now.My wife and I ate at Originals this evening. The wait staff was excellent and hospitable, the atmosphere was homey and rustic and the food was so much better than expected. The last few places we’ve tried have been dismally disappointing but now that we’ve found Originals, we don’t have to bother looking anywhere else. The burrito Original (wet) and enchiladas suizas were amazing. The starters we tried, guacamole with chips and nachos were authentic and marvellous. We had three boxes of leftovers because the portions were larger than expected. It’s so nice to eat somewhere that serves solid portions at reasonable prices and the food is wonderful. Six stars.“
