“We discovered Cortado Cafe on our recent return to BC, Walnut Grove. It has become our go to place for tea, coffee, chai tea & incredible oatmeal raisin cookies. The sandwiches are phenomenally good as well. It’s got that great independent feel, comfortable chairs with pillows for your back. The staff greet you, remember you and “ have a great day “ as you leave. I can’t say enough about this cafe. Oh yeah they play great music, currently in the middle of a Beatles session on a Sunday afternoon.“

“Absolutely fantastic catering experience! The food was delivered on time and was fresh, hot, and perfectly packed. Every single item exceeded our expectations. The Thalapakatti chicken biriyani and Thalapakatti mutton biriyani were outstanding — rich flavor, perfectly cooked rice, and authentic taste that reminded us of a true South Indian feast. The mutton was especially tender and well-marinated. The starters were just as impressive. Gobi Manchurian, Chicken Lollipop 65 were flavourful, and the Paneer Pepper Fry was a big hit even with non-vegetarians. Highly recommend!“

“This coffee shop is owned by a south Korean family and they are very kind! Had a drip coffee house blend and it was okay. What stood out to me was the food: the Maple Walnut donut was reeeeeally fresh, soft and fluffy, not to sweet; the Chicken Teriyaki Wrap was very tasteful, a little spicy (the right amount). Also it was my first time trying the Nanaimo Bar: thought it was very sweet, but I guess that's what makes it a Nanaimo Bar - it was well made.

There was a lot of Gluten Free and vegetarian options.“

“While touring BC on my way to Vancouver my vehicle unfortunately broke down and as a result I was stuck in Langley for a bit.

Walking between the dealership and my hotel anxiously awaiting any news at all, this cafe had caught my eye.

I stepped in a stressed out mess but that quickly changed, as the energy within pours tranquillity, homeliness, and love.

A beautiful family run diner that has not let corporate greed diminish the quality of their service or products.

I recommend to all Langley residents and travellers alike to stop in and visit this amazing cafe.“

Fresh tandoori chicken, fish and goat curries, fresh naan, hot chai tea, large selection of (pasta) salads, layers of flavour in gulabjamun, moist brownies, very friendly service, free parking and cool air conditioning. Shah-bash from my group of 3 for lunch. Will be back.“

“my go-to! they have the BEST coffee and redbull along with really good prices! i will say the ai menus they make- the drinks never really look how they do on the menu. i went there the other day because i had seen they posted a drink from “the sandlot” menu on facebook. i went there hoping it looked the same as the one on the menu and i unfortunately didn’t get that. it has happened a few times as well- not just this one time but i feel like if you’re gonna advertise your drinks the way you do- you should make them exactly how they look or at least ask the customer if they want how it’s advertised. other than that, i love this little coffee stand. the girls are always super sweet. they make conversation and it’s never “too much”. at least not for me!“

“This is a wonderful cafe. I fell in love with the place the moment I saw their assortment of baked goods when I entered the establishment. The cafe was very busy when I came on a Tuesday afternoon, yet I still found a table for myself. I only came in for a drink and a snack, however, that was enough to make up my mind. I ordered the Spanish Latte with the Pumpkin Spiced Cream Muffin and the Cappuccino Cream Puff. The latte was potent with that espresso flavour while having that nice balance of earthy and creamy piquancy in the drink. The muffin was fresh and full of flavour, thanks to the pumpkin cream filling and the toppings. The Cappuccino Cream Puff was spectacular; everything about it was tasty from the powdered sugar on top to the light cream-filling. The aesthetic has a modern yet traditional design to its countenance with its spacious studio structure and brick wall to the antiquated decor and antiques. The service was quite good and have no complaints against. I hope the next time I come to Gratia, it will be for a full lunch, so I could try their sandwiches or brunch choices.“

“This is a very cute cafe! There are many options and something for everyone. I liked the cozy feel and the hospitality was great. I got the early bird sandwich which is fine but a bit over priced in my opinion. 13 dollars for a sandwich with egg and bacon is a bit much but still tasty. It wasn’t shockingly amazing but decent. The iced chai was good tasted fine but I didn’t enjoy the lavender London fog. It tasted like water with a hint of lavender, same goes for the lavender latte. The iced caramel macchiato on the other hand was great, sweet but yummy! Worth the visit and a good place for sweets, visit if in the area.“
