“One of the best out of all the restaurants (for South Indian cuisine) in lower mainland. There is no place where I haven't tried out. I am so passionate in cooking all the South Indian dishes and I was amazed to taste the food from here. When I had my first bite, I realized that this cook should be a tamilian and I was right. The food served in Panorama Indian lounge took me to India. 100% Authentic flavors from my mother land. Just try once and you would get addicted. Recently I ordered food for an event and all my guests were so satisfied with the food and the taste was outstanding. Mr. Ashok is amazing! Has“
“Wish I could give five stars, but the atmosphere of the location is a bit lacking. Attached to a movie studio, it seems like a garage was turned into a cafe/restaurant? It was a bit chilly since the whole side of the wall was a garage door. With that said, the whole place gives off a bit of more "to go" vibe than dine in. Everything is self serve and ordering is done at the counter instead of the usual waiter/waitress service. The food was great, but for the price a bit lacking. If the price was $2-3 dollar less per dish, would be a five star review for sure. Not a bad place to drop by for breakfast to try out for yourself at least once!“
“I'm genuinely impressed by this place! As someone who tends to stick with my regular coffee spots, branching out here was a great decision. The Iced Vanilla Latte with oat milk was absolutely delicious, and the quality of their coffee beans truly stood out with their smooth and pleasant flavor. It’s about 30 minutes from where I live, but I’ll definitely be making the drive back soon.“
“One of the cutest boba shops I've never seen! It's got plenty of cat decorations and merch, along with a very nice menu selection of many different drinks! I feel very cozy in there, though there aren't any seats to sit inside. I highly recommend their smoothies :)“
“First of all, they have the best espresso. Which makes the best latte's. Muffins and scones are baked in small batches daily. Sometimes 3 or 4 times daily, so you know it's super fresh. The pumpkin scone was still moist, but dense, it was really perfect. That scone was the best scone I'd ever had. It had the right amount of icing (lots). I'd easily drive 30 minutes on my day off for there products. Good job guy!!!“
“So good! I'm from out of town and just happened to be near by when a friend texted me that they just found an awesome donut shop, we were only 15 minutes away so we had to make a detour for a do a adventure, absolutely worth it, these donuts taste so fresh, so good. They have a good assortment, decent prices and a nice mix of good classic donut flavors along with some fun styles. If you're around the area and just want a good donut absolutely go.“
“This is a great place!! Friendly, excellent service. The ambience is uplifting with their positive decor, especially the definition of coffee. There is a wide variety to choose from when it comes to the menu. I thoroughly enjoyed the egg and cheese with bacon on an english muffin. This is not your fast food style, it was homemade with a twist of their special sauce that added a hint of spiciness. Sooo good! Definitely will return, and highly recommend to check out Espresso Cafe!! ❤“
“Had the raspberry mocha which was delicious. Would be nice if can offer to warm up pastries prior to serving them... I know I would have enjoyed the cranberry cinnamon loaf a lot more had it been warmed up and not served coldParking: Located in a strip mall with ample parking spacesKid-friendliness: Seats available for infants“
“One of the best small coffee shops I've visited in a long time. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. Both go above and beyond for their customers. The food and coffee are delicious. Definitely will be back in the future to try more of the menu.“
“A special experience by attentive & knowledgeable service, delectable tea & scrumptious dining ... we look forward to making more fabulous memories in your absolutely lovely establishment!Thank you! (Great finds in your gift shop too!)“
“Best soups and oat bar I have had in a cafe. I really enjoy wholesome soups filled with veges and bars that aren’t too sweet and nutrient dense and this place does just that. Everything is homemade or made to order. They also offer various gluten free options. This cafe offers nutritious meals and snacks that are very tasty . Highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: A number of gluten free/friendly options to choose from.“
“Quaint little cafe bistro in South Surrey. Great place to stop to pick up coffee or stay in and grab a breaky or lunch. FYI Saturdays they have a special menu. The food is delicious and just the right portion size. The team is super friendly, just a pleasure to chat with on a weekend morning. It does get busy, especially on nice days, and reservations are an option. The patio and tables outside add to their capacity. The washroom could use some TLC but is at least clean. Parking is limited.“
“What was ordered:• Oat latte• To live for everyday cookie • Bonus Bakery red velvet cookie Cute little coffee shop in Maple Ridge. Loved the variety of vegan options made by local businesses. Kinda went nuts with the cookies LOL. “
“I should not be saying this...BUT they have The world's best almond croissant!! Shhhhh don't tell anyone but you must get there before noon to capture one of these rare breed of croissants. You can taste the real butter. I would have taken a picture but I ate it. One of the regulars said all of the food is great.“
“I really love this coffee shop. It's so clean inside and the staffs are very friendly. Their sandwiches, pastries, and all the foods are good. And their coffees as well? You must visit here after a long tiring day at work and grab some coffee.“
“Islands is one of my favorite coffee places. The coffee is amazing. But so is the atmosphere and everyone that works there is lovely. They seem to appreciate their customers, even the ones that are there extended periods for various reasons.I love going there with friends or to work or to just sit and have coffee.Thank you for the amazing space.“
“Visited for the first time last night. Service was great, ambience felt welcoming and the Oreo cake was 10/10 ! Free parking and convenient parking too. The man at the counter who helped me was very nice, the whole experience was great from start to “
“We've honestly had the pleasure of meeting Ricardo last night. Normally, we would drop by around midnight but tonight it was way past that. He was kind enough and didn't turn us down despite their closing hours to let us pick out our ice cream flavours. They usually close at 0100 but during summer they extend it to an hour later which would be around 0200.As you all know, this is definitely my go to nightly ice cream place. This night would've been such a bummer without it?Definitely recommend to try out every flavour every time you come to visit. They have a wide variety of tasty ice cream flavours and drinks as well. They do have some tables with a cute gram backdrop inside and a couple tables outside their store to enjoy your treat while vibing to their music.“
“I was taking a walk on the beach and stumbled upon this cute lil bubble tea shop, when I went in immediately the cashier greeted me. The price is very reasonable for what I got(taro bubble tea) was delicious. I recommend visiting if looking for a good bubble tea shop by the beachVegetarian options: Dairy free optionsKid-friendliness: Open for anyone“
“There was a cafe in Langley with a good reputation run by a Korean, so I stopped by with my friends and I was very satisfied with the food service. The muffins were large and good for sharing, and the sandwiches were not too thick and were just the right size, so they were easy to eat. Above all, the cafe latte was excellent!! I'll have to stop by again next time^^“
“Love the folks here. So grateful for Jesse's commitment to a positive experience, to delicious choices, to options and to thoughtfulness in everything she makes. We used to live closeby and though we have moved, I make sure to return whenever possible!“
“I love this place :) the staff is always so kind and goes out of their way to make sure you enjoy what you are getting. Every time I come I feel like the service goes above and beyond. Not to mention the espresso they pull is smooth and consistent every time! I absolutely recommend this place“
“Love Porters! I've been many times over the years for a quick muffin and coffee, and have always loved the quaint ambiance and decor. I went in earlier today for a full breakfast. The Breakfast Bowl was outstanding. Very, very tasty and filling. Friendly service as well. Thanks for a great experience!“
“Said yolo and ordered a shot of espresso with a few pumps of green apple for the hell of it and honestly it tasted pretty good so if they can make THAT taste good then you know everything else is amazing. the two woman working there are sweet, i like their energy :)) wish i lived around here i’d totally be a “
“Wow, just wow! These waffles are next-level amazing, even better than the ones I had in Montreal, believe it or not! I wish I could give them 6 stars out of 5, that’s how good they are! The staff are super cool and friendly, and the view? Gorgeous! Totally rocked my taste buds! The young blonde lady made a great recommendation. Folks! Gotta try thisnplace!“
“Cute little coffee shop. Comfortable and great service. The perfect spot to hang out and grab some food while waiting for my car to be serviced. Unfortunately for me, they do not have decaf coffee so I opted for a hot chocolate. Great place otherwise. I'd come back.“
“This is an old heritage House converted into a coffee shop. The atmosphere is quite charming and was a great place to sit with my notepad and enjoy a latte with a scone. The parking out back is adequate and we were able to find a spot despite it being a little busy. I'm guessing locals walk there. We are trying a new coffee shop every week and Boothroyd would be a repeat for sure.“
“Absolutely love this place! I go every now and again to try a different tea each time, there’s a lot of choices of teas (never tried the coffees but they look amazing).Great community and very warm welcoming staff, a nice place to chill and grab a sweet treat :)“
“I live in the neighborhood and I have been coming to this cafe for the past few months so it’s time for a review.First of all it’s family owned and operated by a lovely couple Louis & Swanni who do their best running this place. It’s understandable that small businesses tend to have prices higher than what you would normally pay at a chain cafe. That’s simply due to economy of scale. Always support small and local business. The place itself is nicely decorated with a pleasant layout and character. Different seating arrangements whether you’re a solo customer or with a group of friends.Their coffee and other drinks are great. I don’t eat much here but the food looks amazing when they bring it out lol.“
“It's hard to believe but I was here and working away for nearly five hours. I had been hoping to get back into the USA this morning but work called and it was urgent enough that I had to find a coffee shop NOW. And thankfully, Blenz was open at 5:30 and here we are.I went through two cups of coffee and a muffin while sitting in the shop. Wifi worked well and the power outlets worked well. I was able to stay connected, get my caffeine going and be productive. No hassle, no side looks, no worries. I was not disturbed at all with my laptop open and the occasional quiet Zoom conversation.[Review 20910 overall - 81 in British Columbia - 1894 of 2023.]“
“The ice cream was yummy. The view was great and their customer service was authentic...We had our ice cream for the long walk on the bridge .. If you have a plan to walk the Canada's long bridge, dont forget to tale scoop of Maya's food ice cream....“
“All the food looks great and the bakery is delicious. It does get quite crowded on the weekends. It's unfortunate, if you're just buying bread, you still have to stand in line with the people who are ordering food and coffee. I saw three loaves of bread that I wanted one of them on the shelf. By the time I got up to order, all the bread was gone.“
“Jasmine was really sweet. Food was good but I’m very much impressed by her service. She went above and beyond to make sure we are served well and are happy with the food and service.Shout out to you girl ❤️ I wish you the best in life ?“
“Another local gem in Surrey offering great tasty Donair! The food here was excellent and quite filling! I ordered the following:- Special Fries and Chicken (basically a donair poutine)- Chicken DonairMy favorite was definitely the special fries and chicken. The fries were cooked when I ordered and was piping hot which I liked. The garlic sauce was amazing mixed with some hot sauce for a bit of kick! I love that they really soak the fries with garlic sauce unlike other places that also serve Donair poutine. The chicken Donair was also very tasty with fresh veggies. The only thing I can think of that could be improved on would be the pita wrap. I found the wrap itself a bit dry, perhaps I just received an older wrap or one that had been sitting out slightly longer...but other than that everything was good! Both dishes had a good amount of chicken! The interior of the restaurant has that classic relaxed 40s cafe vibe. There was a decent amount of seating as well.Overall, the food here was great with decent portion size. I'll definitely be back here to try out their other menu items!“
“Oh my wonderful ice cream. We have been going to this store for about 2 years now. My kids love their ice cream. And our family is big on ice cream anyways. I love their Akbar Masti flavor. One non busy day the owner told us all about how their ice cream is made, showing us the machines that do what and how of it. I think given the organic ingredients and fresh ice cream being made on premise everyday justifies the price. My kids love to look at the decor as well (read cows). All the servers we have ever had have all been super sweet as well.I will return one more time to decide if I’ll continue with this store as our go-to ice-cream place. My suggested improvements: take pride in your ice cream and do not get defensive on small suggestions or questions. People come to your store for ice cream - ice cream makes people happy. Sometimes not getting defensive can go a long way to have long lasting customers who truly value what you are making. Between me and my husband, in all of the visits had never even looked at the bill or price. About two weeks back someone at the store got defensive over a small suggestion I made. I let it go. Today again same person was defensive over almost nothing actually. And this time, it was the first time I checked what are the prices. I normally never even care. Now despite of loving your ice cream and your store, I’m rethinking if I should return or make another of the so many stores on the street our new go-to place, not because of price… but because of unnecessary defensiveness. Guess I’ll give it one more shot and decide. :)“
“First time I've ever been and was thoroughly impressed! I am extremely picky when it comes to food and I was very happy that the server was willing to answer all my questions and create a dish that I would be happy with. The coffee was great! The hazelnut Nutella Danish was very good but was heated up in a microwave so I got a little chewy. I love the atmosphere, while it was packed with people it was not too busy.Parking: Parking is quite difficult as the street fills up quickly. The side streets also don't have a lot of parking so be prepared to walk a few blocks“
“Great cuppa coffee, tasty snacks to go with. Meals are good and reasonably priced. Recommend. It is so nice to sit outside and look at the park and people watch so common spring.Parking: Parking can difficult close by, there is more free parking behind the community center and you can walk easily.“
“My daughter and I came here today for the first time. Our experiences are great, clean, tidy and warm-welcoming ambience , helpful staff, good bubble teas. We were too full to try food. Love the shop, we defenitely come back to try their yummy poke!“
“My brother visited your store to get some tea to send to us (his family) in Nova Scotia for Christmas. He said he asked you to pick a nice variety and you did just that. Your tea is fantastic! Flavourful and delicious. As book and tea lovers Mom and i both also really enjoyed the name on the packages "The tea library " how cute. thank you so much for your part in my brothers nice gift. When I visit Vancouver i will surly drop in to stock up on tea ?? thank you!!!!!“
“If I wasn’t already local I would make a trip to come here! The shop has a cozy vibe, the staff are friendly, the food is great! They have comfortable seating for one-on-one chats or a group, though the seating and parking is limited.Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian sandwich!“
“The chicken club sandwich is so delicious. I don't usually like sandwiches, so I don't pay for them, but this is the only sandwich I buy! The sauce sprinkled on is sweet and salty, so it's not too healthy, but it's delicious and delicious? The bread is slightly toasted, but it's delicious even if you just eat it without any ingredients. Buy a lot!!!“
“I'm not a donut person but I think I just had the best donut of my life! If I was allowed to put my own cream in my coffee it would be a full 5 starts. I find when the barista is adding the cream without asking you on the amount it's really never quite right.“
“This place is so cozy with delicious coffee! My husband and I both ordered a latte and it was the best latte we've had in a long time. Everything they use is top quality ingredients and you can tell in the taste. Also, comfortable seating with nice atmosphere. Will definitely come here more often!!“
“Having turned into a self-proclaimed Cafe snob this place is great. They go to great lengths to have quality baked goods and an excellent latte. Staff was friendly and easy to speak to. Thank you!Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs. Accessible front door and bathroom.“
“The two lovely ladies who run this business make the place feel very comfortable, they work SO hard to make sure everything is done right and it definitely shows.Their coffee is the best in town as far as I've tried and all of their dish's are very fresh and taste delicious. A lot of love and care is put into their work. The baked goods are freshly made every day!! Ranging from decadent cheese cake to the more wholesome loafs and scones (great w/ coffee!)Many of their recipes are curated by their secret weapon, a wise sage of a baker, who is so good I actually have proposed marriage, but they say it's not the first time they've had the question.Surprisingly modestly priced, and the specialty drinks are so worth the extra buck or two (such good latte art!!). They're one of only a few places (besides fast food) where you can eat plenty and have a great coffee for under 20$.Although it can definitely be very busy at times the staff is always trying their best to accommodate everyone. Lots of regulars and a definite hangout spot for many locals. Someone called it a White Rock cultural hub and I'm inclined to agree.Beautiful artwork on display for sale via the gallery next door, and also an open mic night every Saturday, which is a great time for everyone involved, very welcoming atmosphere.“
“Heidi was hardworking in the snow when Starbucks was closed! I admire her kindness and pleasant customer service. She made sure to make every cup right. This girl deserves tips and a raise! She was so patient when I changed my mind and ordered Taylor’s London Fog in memory of the owner’s niece!“
“Love this location! The staff are always smiling. Merna is the morning barista and she’s always greeting guests with a smile and laugh. It’s such a refreshing experience to have familiar faces and conversation with lovely staff that seem like they actually love where they work.*most of the syrups they use in their special coffees are also surprisingly low in sugar, which I was impressed by.“
“This is really the only Starbucks that maintains the old Starbucks feel and service of many years ago. The store manager, Jake is a gifted and hospitable host and it flows through his entire team. I get a donut and he and MOST of the staff heat it up for just 10 seconds so it is very slightly warm. Except the person with the reddish hair. I know Starbucks says don't warm certain things up but she was adamant that it will melt all over the plate despite me telling her 10 seconds. She wouldn't listen to logic. I should have asked her if she puts a breakfast sandwich in for 10 seconds if it would be hot. I'm assuming it is her personality.... "I listen to what I am told" and don't question anything or think logically which I think is frightful however.... I'll keep coming and not buy a donut when she is serving me (or Jake isn't there). Alternatively, I'll bring in my own FRESH donuts to have with my coffee since the reason I want something slightly warmed is because Starbucks bakery goods are well below average....“
“Their food honestly is one of the best, but I think some of it is way overpriced. The coffee not so much. Sometimes the staff can be moody but it happens usually theyre super nice. Best cake selection too and their Beesting Pizza is to die for. As for the seating its also not the best but overall very good “
“Generally a good Tim Hortons Location. Service is always friendly. The only downside is that sometimes they are slow to clean up garbage around the exterior of the location. It makes it unwelcoming when you pull into the parking area and see garbage all over. It is not common but more times than should be acceptable by management.“
