“Loved this sweet cafe! As someone with a dairy allergy, I deeply appreciate vegan baked goods and this place had OPTIONS! I got 4 desserts (spoiled for my birthday) the s'mores cookie is to die for! 10/10 so chewy and the marshmallows have that slight crisp. The brownie was so fudgy! The croissant had this wonderful jam in it and was so flakey and perfect. The pear doughnut was a delicious cake doughnut with this great icing on it. Definitely go there! They have gf options as well!“

“We discovered Cortado Cafe on our recent return to BC, Walnut Grove. It has become our go to place for tea, coffee, chai tea & incredible oatmeal raisin cookies. The sandwiches are phenomenally good as well. It’s got that great independent feel, comfortable chairs with pillows for your back. The staff greet you, remember you and “ have a great day “ as you leave. I can’t say enough about this cafe. Oh yeah they play great music, currently in the middle of a Beatles session on a Sunday afternoon.“

“The most freshly roasted coffee beans you can get (they roast them only after you order) delivered right to your door (at least here in the Vancouver area.) Great selection of either single coffees or blends, from pretty much all the main coffee producing regions in the world. We couldn't recommend them more, and we're supporting a local business to boot.“

They should have said absolutely bloody amazing. 5/5 best burger I've had in a while, reminded me of some of the fare I've had in Las Vegas restaurants. “This coffee shop is owned by a south Korean family and they are very kind! Had a drip coffee house blend and it was okay. What stood out to me was the food: the Maple Walnut donut was reeeeeally fresh, soft and fluffy, not to sweet; the Chicken Teriyaki Wrap was very tasteful, a little spicy (the right amount). Also it was my first time trying the Nanaimo Bar: thought it was very sweet, but I guess that's what makes it a Nanaimo Bar - it was well made.

The staff were friendly but my usual order didn't taste quite how it usually does. Not bad, just different. Not sure what happened, but otherwise a good experience.“

“I’ve been coming to this Starbucks for over six years, and honestly, I can say that I’ve never had a bad experience here.
The staff are always so kind, friendly, and helpful, and it’s genuinely a place I enjoy stopping by for my coffee. The service has always been great, and even on the rare occasion when something small is forgotten, they are always quick to fix it without any issue.
I also used to work at Starbucks, so I know how much is happening behind the counter at the same time. Mistakes can happen — we’re all human. What matters to me is how people handle them, and this team has always been wonderful.
They truly deserve a 10/10, especially considering how busy this location can get, including the big rushes with high school students. Even during those crazy busy moments, they still manage to stay friendly, helpful, and smile, which is not easy.
I really hope customers remember that the people behind the counter are working on their feet, multitasking, and doing their best to take care of everyone. A little patience and kindness goes a long way.

“Started coming here for my weekly admin work, and on my first Friday of doing so, a worker (the one with the Nyan Cat name tag, didn't catch the name) took my empty drink and offered me an ice water! Then promptly brought it to me! Felt nice not feeling like I needed to rush out since my drink and food was done. Will be returning to do my work here“

I was EXTREMELY happy with the level of service provided to me when purchasing my FLSTSB through Barnes. Jon was willing to negotiate with me a fair trade in value for my used bike toward my purchase as I live out of the lower mainland area. The day I came in to finalize the deal I was introduced to the majority of their staff and was treated like VIP the whole while time I was there. I asked for a few last minute add-ons for the new bike,and they had the service department bump me up and installed them THAT day!!They even let me take a demo bike out for lunch while I waited for my bike to get done. “I love Starbucks and usually have great experiences, but today we went through the drive thru, and the girl handed my husband my coffee, the lid wasn’t put on properly and it spilt half of my drink all over my husbands brand new truck. We asked for napkins and were handed some without apology. She actually seemed quite annoyed that we asked. We asked for a new coffee because half of it ended up all over the condole, doors, windshield- it literally exploded in his hand as he was trying to put it in the cup holder. She made me a new coffee and only filled it 3/4 of the way. I left feeling angry that she didn’t even apologize to us. Just a heads up to always check the lid before bringing your drink into your car“
