“I was taking a walk on the beach and stumbled upon this cute lil bubble tea shop, when I went in immediately the cashier greeted me. The price is very reasonable for what I got(taro bubble tea) was delicious. I recommend visiting if looking for a good bubble tea shop by the beachVegetarian options: Dairy free optionsKid-friendliness: Open for anyone“
“Islands is one of my favorite coffee places. The coffee is amazing. But so is the atmosphere and everyone that works there is lovely. They seem to appreciate their customers, even the ones that are there extended periods for various reasons.I love going there with friends or to work or to just sit and have coffee.Thank you for the amazing space.“
“Wow, just wow! These waffles are next-level amazing, even better than the ones I had in Montreal, believe it or not! I wish I could give them 6 stars out of 5, that’s how good they are! The staff are super cool and friendly, and the view? Gorgeous! Totally rocked my taste buds! The young blonde lady made a great recommendation. Folks! Gotta try thisnplace!“
“Family owned and operated, tons of unique flavours and the chocolate cinnamon soft serve is AMAZING! Located directly across from White Rock Pier, there’s no better place to grab a cone and take in the scenery. They also serve delicious coffee, lattes, etc. This establishment is definitely worth a visit!“
“The two lovely ladies who run this business make the place feel very comfortable, they work SO hard to make sure everything is done right and it definitely shows.Their coffee is the best in town as far as I've tried and all of their dish's are very fresh and taste delicious. A lot of love and care is put into their work. The baked goods are freshly made every day!! Ranging from decadent cheese cake to the more wholesome loafs and scones (great w/ coffee!)Many of their recipes are curated by their secret weapon, a wise sage of a baker, who is so good I actually have proposed marriage, but they say it's not the first time they've had the question.Surprisingly modestly priced, and the specialty drinks are so worth the extra buck or two (such good latte art!!). They're one of only a few places (besides fast food) where you can eat plenty and have a great coffee for under 20$.Although it can definitely be very busy at times the staff is always trying their best to accommodate everyone. Lots of regulars and a definite hangout spot for many locals. Someone called it a White Rock cultural hub and I'm inclined to agree.Beautiful artwork on display for sale via the gallery next door, and also an open mic night every Saturday, which is a great time for everyone involved, very welcoming atmosphere.“
“We've honestly had the pleasure of meeting Ricardo last night. Normally, we would drop by around midnight but tonight it was way past that. He was kind enough and didn't turn us down despite their closing hours to let us pick out our ice cream flavours. They usually close at 0100 but during summer they extend it to an hour later which would be around 0200.As you all know, this is definitely my go to nightly ice cream place. This night would've been such a bummer without it?Definitely recommend to try out every flavour every time you come to visit. They have a wide variety of tasty ice cream flavours and drinks as well. They do have some tables with a cute gram backdrop inside and a couple tables outside their store to enjoy your treat while vibing to their music.“
“I was at this place yesterday with three friends. I borrowed a chair from the neighboring table and the woman server shrieked that we needed to leave space for customers to order at the ordering window. I happily agreed and dragged the table a foot or two to leave space. I then went to order and made a silly joke, noticing the odd flavors they had, with a big smile I asked if they had "butter chicken" ice cream? I expected the owner/serving lady to laugh. Instead she glowered at me as if I'd asked for 10 free ice creams! I told her it was a joke but she was not mollified and continued in her aggressive manner. I repeated that it was a joke. She then refused to serve me and I and my companions went to the neighboring 50+ Flavors where we were served with grace and a smile.“
“Always friendly staff and excellent food and coffee make it a favorite of mine. Their brownies are amazing, I have personally became addicted to them since I have been working near by. Definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a relaxing coffee shop.“
“First time I've ever been and was thoroughly impressed! I am extremely picky when it comes to food and I was very happy that the server was willing to answer all my questions and create a dish that I would be happy with. The coffee was great! The hazelnut Nutella Danish was very good but was heated up in a microwave so I got a little chewy. I love the atmosphere, while it was packed with people it was not too busy.Parking: Parking is quite difficult as the street fills up quickly. The side streets also don't have a lot of parking so be prepared to walk a few blocks“
“Having turned into a self-proclaimed Cafe snob this place is great. They go to great lengths to have quality baked goods and an excellent latte. Staff was friendly and easy to speak to. Thank you!Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs. Accessible front door and bathroom.“
“We read the great reviews and popped into the Yuca Tree Cafe for a quick lunch and loved it. It is a nice, small, cozy family owned restaurant. The banana French toast was moist and delicious with a nice homemade syrup mix on top. The bacon was also very tasty and lean. The swiss cheese and mushroom burger was delicious and juicy. We paired the hamburger with homemade chicken cilantro soup and love that also!“
“7-Eleven Nichol Road acquired the controlling interest of this Esso service station, a few years ago (2018). Was nice to see this franchise, use the name 7-Eleven Nichol Road, on the store's locator website. I also found, 7-Eleven is the world's largest convenience store retailer and one of few stores like it in the City of White Rock.“
“My husband and I like to come to this ice cream parlour when we're in White Rock. They have a wide selection of flavours and they always taste great! And the scoops are really big! I love the Chocolate Peanut Butter ice cream, it is delicious!“
“What a cute coffee shop! Great selection of treats, wraps and food. I asked them to mix the mocha and caramel iced latte together and it is DELICIOUS! It’s really nice and creamy. I also asked for and everything bagel toasted and they added cream cheese on the side.“
“A special experience by attentive & knowledgeable service, delectable tea & scrumptious dining ... we look forward to making more fabulous memories in your absolutely lovely establishment!Thank you! (Great finds in your gift shop too!)“
